Good staff. Good range of choices. Great she’ll for a handicapped customer. Prices and delivery fees are a little steep.
Employees left us to shop after asking what we needed and telling us where it was. They waited until we approached and had made a decision to offer us the options for the chairs we wanted. Not pushy at all! We really appreciated that.
They left us wonder around by our self, I don't like to be followed when looking for furniture.
Our sales lady, Chevelle, was amazing! She listened to us and showed us exactly what we were looking for. We bought the Beckett reclining sofa and it is awesome! It's made of beautiful, soft, ivory leather and felt so good on our aching backs...exactly what we asked for. I highly recommend Raymour & Flanigan. They have a beautiful and wide variety of furniture pieces. We will definitely be back for more!
Great salesman showing sofa bed and explaining features.
Ordered and paid for a mattress via phone call after reviewing website. Both salesperson Matt McCormick and woman in payment office were polite and knowledgeable. Looking forward to sleeping on my new firm mattress!
She was very informed. She told use the benefits of 1 mattress over an other. She was not rushed. She spent time with us.
Traveled from Lancaster because R&F in York is considered an elite dealer for Tempur-Pedic mattresses. Upon arrival was warmly greeted by Jenny who took ample time to honestly educate us on the entire line. Refreshing to have a salesperson without a sales pitch, just the facts from her point of view........suffice it to say we made a purchase and will be buying more from R&F and Jenny in the future.
Everything went smooth. As soon as we walked in, a sales rep was there to assist us. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. No pressure sales staff. Probably the best furniture buying experience I ever had.
Greeted by Chevelle Brown and asked how she could help. Directed us to the living room sets. Let us explore on our own (which we appreciate, don’t like when a Sales person follows you around). She was in our line of sight and we were able to wave and get her attention. She introduced a trainee to us (nice young man but forgot his name) Chevelle was helpful in answering our questions and pointing out features we didn’t realize the couch had. Also, directed us to other sets that might compare to what we were looking at. Very informed, educated about the furniture. Answered all our questions. We were just window shopping and didn’t expect to make a purchase but she made the experience a good one. Looking forward to our new leather sofa and chair. The new trainee is in good hands.
I am glad that there is now a store near me however, my experience was less than expected. As I believe there is room for growth, I decided to share this information.
I set up an appointment to peruse dining room sets and asked for "my salesperson" upon my arrival. After much waiting, the salesperson appeared. i explained that I was just looking so I could make a purchase later in the month. He provided directions for me to look around and disappeared. As I looked, I had questions about certain pieces and waited for him to return. He never did so I left.
Later that day, I went on the website to see if some of my questions could be answered. I picked a product and applied for financing and was approved. I texted the salesperson to see when they would be working so we could finalize the deal. I also informed him that I had been approved for credit. We set a date and time for my return.
Upon my return on 2/8, we met, saw the piece and proceeded to the "office." On the way there, I asked about an accent table we passed to see if it came in a different color and was told abruptly, "no, that's it."
We sat in the service desk area to begin the transaction. His hand held computer went down and he had to reboot. When he asked how I wanted to pay for it, I said through financing. He then proceeded to ask me the questions needed to obtain financial approval. I thought it was strange since I told him via text that I was already approved.
As we were doing this, he was having trouble scheduling someone else's order as an ottoman was out of stock and holding up the order. He kept ignoring me while he focused on the other problem with the service person behind the counter.
His new attempt at financing was not approved and I explained that I was already approved through the website. This frustrated him as it seemed it was my fault. I did apologize but in reality, how was I to know the processes of the store? This ended with a "we'll fix this" and TD Bank might call to confirm information. I had brought along a copy of my approval from the day before and asked if that would help them straighten this out - evidently not.
Then we arranged delivery for 2/15 and I left. I never felt like I had his attention the whole time I was there. Driving home, I concluded that I should have just ordered on the website however, I wanted him to get the commission as he spent time with me on a previous visit.
On Friday 2/10, I received a phone call from a service representative. He informed me that I needed to call TD Bank to confirm a few details so the financing could be approved. I read to him the email I had received from TD saying it was approved and he asked me to call the bank then call him back so he could get the finance people on it.
I called the bank. The person on the other end had no idea why I was calling as everything was in order. I called the store back and relayed that message.
On Saturday (2/11) I received a voicemail from the salesperson stating that all had been approved and delivery was to be on 2/18. That was a new date which caused me to change arrangements for the pickup of my old dining set. Doable, but a pain in the ass.
Later on 2/11, I received a text stating that my delivery on 2/15 was being prepared. WHAT? Now I have two dates for delivery? So, I had to call the store to straighten that out.
All in all, not a stellar experience. At no time did I feel that I had the focus of the salesperson. And, at the present time, I am unsure about the delivery date as I have not received a new text.
So, first meeting was strange, website experience better, financing a disaster because the salesperson didn't pay attention to my communication, salesperson abrupt, unnecessary time calling the bank and the store, conflicting information. There is much that can be fixed here. Hopefully, this will be taken as a learning experience.
Please reach out if I can clarify or assist in any way.
Here's hoping the delivery actually happens on 2/18.

Jenny my salesperson went above and beyond to get my furniture delivered within 3 hrs of my purchase on a Saturday definitely appreciate her efforts!
Chevelle B. In the York, PA store was very knowledgeable. She gave us time to walk the store, ask questions and think about our purchase. She was not overbearing or pushy. We completed our purchase over the phone and Carl and Mike were very helpful in getting it all accomplished.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Ashley. She was ready to help when I had a question and did not hesitate to check the back for a certain model for us. She helped us order the exact furniture we wanted and even price matched so I could save money. (We got a great deal on a couch and loveseat 2 pc set!) She was very informative about the warranty and delivery process. My young kids were a little fussy by the end of us shopping around before picking a model, but the whole staff was very nice about it and understanding. Would definitely recommend.
Matt was very helpful. He understood our vision and made great recommendations. I'm hoping delivery is as easy as purchasing.
Carl and his shadow Robin were excellent in showing our purchase to us and explaining the features. When we need furniture again we will be sure to look them up. Kevan and Connie.
