Truly seemless and positive experience from start to finished.
I used RSS Leeds Ring Road from February to June 2024 to store items inbetween selling, and buying a house. From the start Tony at the reservations team was brilliant in understanding what i needed. I opted for a 20ft container which looked brand new when i walked in so i was very happy with this. No concern with damp or anything like that during the time i used it. Inside was bone dry throughout.
Becca Elcock at the customer service team also very helpful throughout my time using RSS and also Andrew Burton at the Leeds facility, very helpful and great communication throughout. I am happy to recommend these to anyone and if needed, will use them again.

Wow! Actually quite amazed with how disgusting the customer service is at this company. If you fancy being verbally abused at your standard network rate please I urge you get in contact with ready steady store! I work for the NHS so used to abuse but this caught me off guard. Asked simple questions as the website is misleading and instead of patiently explaining to me the 'man' who I spoke to patronised and belittled me. When I called him out on a lie he had said and told him I believed what he had said was untrue he accused me of calling up for an argument and hung up. Ready steady store - you need to look at your hiring process a lot closer.

Just started using the Leeds Kirkstall store. Very helpful staff, both on the phone and at the site. No hanging around on the phone, and all the paperwork and information delivered very promptly. They were also keen to highlight their discounts, so I feel I am getting a good deal.

Terrible customer service. I rented a container on a short-term basis (10 weeks total) but despite that I’ve not been able to access my storage on multiple occasions due to RSS incompetence. The out of hours helpline is helpless, the in-hours customer service tell you someone will ring you back when nobody does, nobody responds to your emails and the in-store staff are rude and dismissive. Everything is someone else’s problem and nobody takes any responsibility. Avoid and store your stuff somewhere else if you ever want to access it.

I tried calling them once. After 5 min on hold I decided it wasn't worth my time and hung up. Today I received a call from someone who was rude and swore at me when I told him I hadn't requested a call back.

Great service from initial phone call to accessing storage facility. the staff at Lincoln, Allenby is friendly, willing to be on hand every step of the way. This service is also great value for money! Will use this firm first for all my storage needs.

Excellent Customer Service from the start both on the phone and in person. The procedure was fully explained, easy to do, and remarkably well-priced. Everything appeared very secure there which was very reassuring. I would recommend Readysteadystore to anyone, especially if in the process of moving and needing to store your household items and furniture. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Hello. I just picked up a phone call from this company. I left my details last night on the website. The only way to see the price is to leave your phone number. There was a box to tick however where you pick how would you like to be contacted and i ticked email. I have explained a man that spoke to me that I was only enquiring and wish not to be called again. He explained that he just gets the phone call and knew nothing more but can stip further calls. I had the impression that he was bored from the start, it was certainlynot a pleasent call from the beggining. I explained about the tick and wanted to leave feedback however at this point the person that I was speaking to became clearly annoyed, very bad customer service experience. I was certainly talked down too. I have since got back to the quote page on their website and realised that tick was in relation to promotion offers (so you will be called regardless of what you choose to tick if that makes sence). I understand that, if I would be explained that I would have not questioned it. So some feedback here will be that it seems that the staff is not trained on the processes, and it's a very bad customer service. A man I spoke to said that he is not at the liberty to share his name when I asked and call ended on a very bad note. Phone call happened few minutes ago (so around 8:30 am on 16/08/23) and I was enquiring about kirkstall site. Please have a conversation with him as he certainly put me off ever using this supplier. No problems at all from the time I booked (May 2023) through to vacating (early July 2023) my storage unit. Never used such a facility before so found the staff very helpful with any questions that I had.
Security systems very thorough, plenty of trolleys and easy access from the loading bay to my unit on the 2nd floor.

Needed space after accumulating a multitude of work items.
Researched online, naturally, Ready Steady Store hit the top-spot for prices, sign-up offers and accessibility.
I ended taking a 50sq-ft unit, signing-up was a breeze, moved in immediately.!!

Have used their storage facilities and have had no issues, recently moved homes, so got a smaller unit to store my left over stuff. The Aylesbury Broadfields branch staff are helpful, and Mike and Anouska are super friendly to talk to. Would recommend to others in the area and would use again in future

This tale will tell you a lot about this company. I signed over about £135 as the first payment on a storage period which was due to start a few days later.
Unexpectedly, the day after I made the payment, a new storage company started up much closer to my home and so much more convenient.
Straight away I rang RSS to cancel, assuring them that I had no expectations of any sort of refund - after all, my cancellation was in no way their fault. Their response was that I would receive a full refund in a few days - in fact it arrived in my account the next day.
The company's ethos is best summed up in their repsonse to my idea of receiving no refund: 'We're not that sort of company'. RSS have a lot to be proud of.
Their prices and terms seemed very good to me; I'd like to express particular thanks to Anthony and Dave at one of the Lincoln branches, who guided me patiently and expertly through their procedures.

Ready Steady Store is a greedy company. They continually increased prices even through the Covid lock down and send threatening and disrespectful letters preventing access to your storage when your account is fully paid up to date.
They are a very self centred company and I would never recommend them.
