Redbrik dealt with the tenancy and subsequent sale of our previously rented property. We were highly satisfied with both the rental and sales processes.
The sale was dealt with as a package including conveyancing by Taylor Emmet. The whole process was stress free and only took two months. After hearing horror stories of house sales taking ages to complete, we are extremely pleased with the service we received.

We’ve recently sold our home through the Chesterfield branch.
Reading the negative reviews, I wanted to write about our experience because I guess the bad reviews are from people using Redbrik for lettings.
If you want a professional Estate Agent to sell your home then we cannot praise Redbrik enough for the service we’ve experienced from start to finish. From us putting our house up for sale and throughout the process we’ve had expert advice. This includes Hannah who came out to value our property, our negotiator Clayton who worked so hard making sure we could close a sale and to Lucie who is helping us through the final stages to completion.
At every step there is someone at the end of the phone to talk to. Thank you Redbrik for helping us start a new chapter in our lives.

This is an honest feedback and I would advise that people stay clear of this Company as they are dubious. Especially if you have paid an holding deposit, they won’t let you have it back and will plan with the landlord to take more from you.
I rented a property from this company, after paying 6 months ahead (£850 per month) with this current economy and holding deposit of £980. The house has mould issue which I reported severally. This started affecting my children. After months of complaining, I started complaining in July or August, Redbrik sent a staff for visit in November who I showed all the issues and water in the kitchen which we don’t know where it was coming from, although not much. The staff said she will report it all. Now the staff has left the miserable company.
In January, the mould company came to check the house and the main mentioned that the house needs full renovation. After like a week, a mail to vacate the property. We had to beg to leave the property in the 11th month. Which Redbrik still collected half of the month rent which we didn’t use.
After checkout and I dropped keys. The lady went to the house, sent me mail that she has checked andmy deposit will be released. Fast forward to two months after, they sent a mail I will even still pay them up to £500 more. Redbrik and Landlord already destroyed the kitchen floor saying we left the house that way.
AVOID REDBRIK!!! Very terrible people

Please be very wary of this company when purchasing a new build house. After paying the reservation fee of £595 to have the house STC, then discovering they have put the house back on the market, but refusing to refund the deposit - even thou they have broken their own agreement. Not once had I stated I was pulling out of the process. They have now taken my money, the house, and left me on the verge of everything being lost as its now put my own house sale at risk. This is disgusting behaviour and daylight theft. Lost all faith and trust in this company. So please, be extremely wary of them.

Their response proves this yet further, taken £595 from me, house was put back on the market, sold. Pure theft.

I have never written a Trustpilot review before but I am so appalled with the service received, I want to share my experience which is similar to other Trustpilot reviews about Redbrik written on 29 August 2023 and 12 December 2023.

I moved out of a property that I had been renting in June 2023. The Property Manager emailed me confirming if there were any deductions, he would let me know within ten working days. When I didn't hear anything, I rightly assumed there were no issues. Then, in September 2023, I received an email from My Deposit (a tenancy deposit scheme) confirming that Redbrik had requested to keep all the deposit of £1,396.00. When I read the things that were being claimed for, I was beyond shocked and disappointed and didn't understand why Redbrik hadn't communicated with me or shared the Check Out Report. I initially contacted Redbrik to understand more and they wouldn't share any of the invoices with me for the things claimed for and they stated that I would need to make a dispute via My Deposit scheme.

I'm happy to confirm that I have now received the majority of my deposit back following My Deposit's independent adjudication after a very upsetting and stressful time. I write this review to raise awareness and ensure that Redbrik don't fraudulently try to keep your deposit or other monies. Please take your own photos and videos before vacating a property as evidence and make use of the My Deposit dispute service if needed which is an impartial service not linked to Redbrik.

I would strongly advise against using the services of Redbrik. The Property Manager who I had to deal with (who I wont embarrass by naming), even states that his strength is 'Drinking' on his Redbrik profile on their webpage. It's clearly not his passion for customers or his professionalism and this extends to the company as a whole from my personal experience.

Edit on 23/04/2024 - Redbrik showing themselves to be the snakes they are with a standard response saying they have no record of my tenancy. That's very odd because my name is the same, the tenancy was Ashley Lane from Jan to June 2023 with Jake McLean and I've just had a complaint upheld against you. It's so frustrating I cant upload the Adjudication outcome or I would have shared it. As usual, Redbrik take no responsibility. Please don't trust this company!!

Compared to other estate agents the pricing seems expensive, however, the advertising and quality of photos were far better than other companies, once we were assigned Emi Davies (Chesterfield Branch )as our sales Manager she was outstanding, communication was great and she was honest about the progress of the chain, we felt she worked very hard on our behalf, other companies in the chain were, i can only describe as useless and without Emi Davies tireless efforts and constant enquiries to move forwards i feel the chain would have fallen down, Redbrik were the only company in the chain that understood communications, timeframes, and that there is a home involved and not just a contract. Redbrik acted as agents for both our Sale and Purchase of our new home.

I needed to go through the process of selling my late father's bungalow in Chesterfield. I don't live local, so was unsure who to use. Redbrik was recommended to me. I am so pleased I used them. They were brilliant from start to finish. I didn't want to do the viewings due to the circumstances and the distance I would have needed to travel. They sorted everything out for me. Kept me informed by emails and phone calls. I trusted everything they did and told me. The main person I used was Holly, but it wasn't a problem if she wasn't available, as everyone I dealt with were helpful and were always there to answer any questions I had. They were all also very compassionate and caring due to the reason for the bungalow being sold.
The sale was completed in 9 months, which I think is very good.
I would definitely recommend Redbrik. I can't thank them enough for making a very difficult time, so much easier.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with Redbrik estate agent, Chesterfield. We have been renting a property in ListerClose and Georgina was our manager. They initially offered an early tenancy termination, but later reneged on the agreement, forcing us to pay additional 2 months rent and endure unjustified expenses. The landlord, backed by the agency, unfairly demanded our full deposit of £900 and an extra £100 for repairs despite our efforts to meet their cleaning requirements. The landlord insisted on repair costs despite a clean checkout report. This added to the unjust financial burden and highlighted the lack of fairness in their dealings. We had to raise the despute with My Deposit and waiting for the decision. Agency forced us to do multiple end of tenancy professional cleanings with the cleaning company they preferred. We did a professional carpet cleaning ourselves but they didn't believed it even after we provided invoices and bank statements. The property manager consistently sided with the landlord, causing us significant mental and financial distress. I strongly advise against choosing Redbrik for any property dealings.

We’ve used Redbrik on two house buys and sales. The teams we have dealt with have always been professional, friendly, and always on hand when needed.

Redbrik are great at marketing and exceptional at communication.

I can recommend Redbrik enough for their services.

Avoid immediately, shocking photographs and video was even worse, communication absolutely shocking, very poor advertising. Seriously avoid and go elsewhere. Crystal peaks at Sheffield especially. Took redbrik over 9 months to sell our property and even let another agent advertise. Other agent had 2 viewings booked in within 1 week. Knew we had to sell as purchased the new property through them. Couldn't arrange accompanied viewing even though we were on holiday at the time. The new buyers were told they couldn't view our property until theirs was marked as sold, how many people were informed of this. On first accompanied viewing the guy didn't know the area. Tried getting in the front with the back door key, left lights on, door unlocked and alarm not set. Shocking.. seriously AVOID

As a landlord I didn't receive a good enough service from Redbrik. They failed to provide enough evidence of damage caused by tenants which ended up costing me money. Their laissez-faire approach to urgent repairs meant a water leak did far more damage than it should have. The agent dealing with my property was inexperienced and didn't know about buildings.

Our experience with buying a house with redbrick based in 2021 was amazing. They made it such an easy process for us going above and beyond at every opportunity. We then later used redbrick to sell a different property in early 2023 and experienced the great service and support once again. Thank you Redbrick for all your support, you made such a stressful process so much easier for us. I would highly recommend.

A great company who deliver what they promise. From the initial valuation right up until completion they were caring, understanding and prompt always. Will definitely use again.

Avoid avoid avoid this agent for tenancy agreement both tenants and landlords, beware!!!. A constructive loot for tenants and landlords.

A very honest review to all the potential tenants and landlords out there, the sheffield team are loots who professional loot your deposit money by false invoices. Unnecessary additional charges when vacating. The landlords are charged for re-advertisement of property while tenant also pays towards it, so Redbrik takes the benefit of the money from both parties. In the name Maintainance, landlords are ripped off with money charged at premium cost to them for any maintenance request from tenant.

Reports they created for after tenancy inspections are done within their capacity favouring their profits and drawing maximum share of the deposits that are held.

I was charged around 600£ as clean of house while I had professionally arranged cleaning with tenancy clean service providers paying over 200£. My deposit which was held about 880£ I am only receiving 280£!! Complete ripp off this agent is. Reports created are not legitimate. No scale for 'fair wear and tear' and looked behind radiotors and inside pipes for dirt and provided in report. Making a bogus report.
I wish I could have uploaded video taken just minutes before handing over keys. Would have been a solid proof to what I have written here as review.

I am aware that they charge the owner and the tenants and make their money on both sides for maintenance and others without both parties involving together. So playing the middle man game! I am aware of re-advertisement charge for both parties and charges such as repairs were charged hefty for home owner.

Ripped off me 450£ worth for breaking tenancy agreement while and forced me to stay another month additional so they can end the contract. Then after that a ripp off of my deposit held!

Absolute not Service quality. Only money making company. Please avoid this!

As per deposit held scheme, during dispute, the deposit hold service provider requests to arrange negotiation with agent. Agent refused to take part in any negotiation and asks to take despute method. Clearly them taking the advantage of the system that despute services take months to resolve.

This agent has no concern or regard to tenants, nor is landlords.

I wish there was any more platform where I can shout out loud that these agents are ripp offs.

Excellent service, sold the property for more than the asking price and went through very quickly.

Service was outstanding, now used Redbrik 3 times and they get better every time.
