Obviously I was delighted with the previous two, but this is a real fall from grace. First of all there’s the joke cut price delivery company (APC I think). Stainless towel rails are a premium product at a premium price, so I don’t think it unreasonable to expect good delivery. Having been given a 09.30 delivery time (like a mug) I waited in for it only to receive a text around 10.00 telling me I was out and that I’d have to arrange a redelivery. Following the link to the website I then found out that my radiator had in fact been delivered and given to someone called “Jo”. Well I’ve lived here for 22 years and never heard of anyone of that name, but before contacting Rhinorails to send me another using a proper carrier, I thought I’d see if something appeared during the evening. And sure enough, a neighbour from 5 doors away appeared clutching a parcel complaining that a delivery driver had thrust this into the hands of his young son and driven off. (And his name isn’t “Jo” either!) Secondly is the towel rail itself, to be fair it is of the usual quality and finish (hence the second star) but the supplied bracketry is beyond abysmal. First there is the stand off distance, usually about 2 1/2” from the wall so okay for folding or scrunching up larger towels, inexplicably that has been reduced to around 1 1/2” rendering the towel rail pretty useless for drying towels, in fact it could more accurately be described as a “rail” rather than towel rail, certainly I’d have ordered a curved rail if I’d known which would at least give you a chance. Second there is the grub screw fixing system, and the schoolboy who designed that should almost certainly be facing detention. The grub-screws themselves are tiny ( around 3mm) and basically designed to get lost during installation (I easily managed to lose all 4) and do not provide a convincing fixing on completion at all. But perhaps most unforgivable of all is the fact that if (like me) you like your pipes concealed into the wall, you are faced with having to do a full c/h system drain down every time you want to remove the rail. The geometry means you simply cannot disconnect from the valves! That mean two draindowns for a refurb, and a drain down every time you want to redecorate. Ridiculous!

Nicely finished stainless steel radiators which won’t go rusty over time like chrome plated steel.

If only all suppliers were like Rhinorails, who provide a first-class service. Nothing was too much trouble for Grant during the course of my purchase; he was calm, helpful, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout. Amazing products that are superior to everything else. 25yr guarantee STAINLESS STEEL ! The heated towel rails are very practical (they have many rungs, which are not too close together). I have also bought a couple of grab rails which make brilliant towel rails. Rhoinorails are my go-to supplier. There is nothing else out there that is so pracical, durable and well made. Some items occasionally out of stock due to polularity, but it's well worth waiting for more to arrive. Grant, the MD, is always happy to exchange emails to provide product info and expected stock renewal dates. No this isn't a fake review. I'm a landlord and I fit the best to my properties to safeguard against any problems down the line.
