The in store experience at London Bridge was exceptional: knowledgeable, friendly staff and a good range of products.
Have to drop a star because the DPD delivery was pretty poor. We live in a block of flats and they didn't bother buzzing or calling they just left several hundred pounds of equipment in the lobby of a different block. Thank god I was regularly manually checking the progress so I was able to immediately locate and get it but could have easily been misplaced.

Staff who know what they’re talking about. Great advice. Great value. Great service

I've been a customer of Richer Sounds since the late 70s and I've always been impressed by the helpfulness of the staff, including being honest as to whether an extra expense is worth it, or not. My favourite Richer shop was the one on the bridge at Sevenoaks Rail Station; quite bizarre, in the old coal master's hut. And helpful.

Very knowledgeable and helpful. They were let down by DPD couriers who failed to deliver but, once I'd let them know about it, they very quickly arranged alternative delivery.

I knew what I wanted to buy which makes life easier but Malik at London Bridge made the whole process a friendly and efficient experience. He even managed to secure me a bit of discount which is always well received. Good products and good prices but it is the human connection that is always important for me. Great customer service from Malik - thank you!

Terry at London Bridge is the best in terms of knowledge and talks about what is the best fit for you, never try’s to make you feel uneasy unlike the Romford branch would never step foot in that place again, in fact I when 30 miles rather then going in to Romford branch and the London Bridge was amazing and the staff there was outstanding.

Very helpful, friendly and knowledgable staff.
I wanted a new turntable and speakers and the staff at London Bridge gave advice on various products.
There was an issue with the original turntable - but no quibbles when I had to return it or hesitation in sending a replacement. Good people to deal with.

We have been buying from Richer Sounds since the mid 80's. We love their service the personal touch that (London Bridge) Terry and his team has been giving us for so many years now, and the manager's before Terry.
Unfortunately over the years the products sold with all the smart technology doesn't always seem to work correctly and that's a real shame, as I love all the smart home technology, so when I got informed that certain companies are not paying for this to continue on all these very expensive products bought, this is due to the licensing expiring after a few years. This doesn't help matters at all as I spent over 10K on a TV and a 5.1 home theater system.
In our new flat, we bought a simple mid range tv and high end sound bar. What a buy as everything is working as it should be.
So expensive high and stuff is a no-no because there's always glitches and issues as I've realized with the 10K purchase.
On-top of that the Denon Smart Speakers too have had issues.
I feel for Terry and everything sent back is classed as an open box so they lose out and we as the customer are losing out. But more transparity needs to be discussed before selling these products to the customers. Because each time it's alot of time and effort to set everything up, delivery's, returns and disappointment each time.
Unfortunately I found out that my sub woofer is not working (Monitor Audio). Dealing with Garry has not been very forthcoming to say the least. He gave me his email phone number and I'm still waiting for responses for him! So the service/repairs department really needs to be looked at.
The DPD is another story as their drivers are very good at not collecting the parcels and they know too many loopholes in using there system Pin Location to show they have been at the bottom intercom and that proves that they have been to the address. No photo of your frontdoor though! This has happened to us three times with DPD with Richer Sounds deliveries and collections.
Thank God for the London Bridge Store, arranging Addison Lee on multiple occasions as live in the two bedroom apartment. Having big boxes for collections doesn't help our disabled daughter or ourselves when DPD keep on letting us down.
So yes, this is my honest truth and yes there is a few things we the customer would like you to address moving forward.

Knowledgable staff helped us make a great choice. And now it’s been delivered we are exceptionally happy with the tv. The delivery was great too, they made sure to bring it to the room we chose. Helpful, as it’s a larger tv than previous.

Nothing to complain about, but probably won't do click and collect again - I guess I thought product would be delivered to store as part of regular deliveries but it seems it was couriered there specifically so just less convenient with no environmental benefit

Used the click and collect service and item was delivered to my local store very quickly which I was very pleased with. In terms of the packaging it had been sent to the store in, via DPD, it was pretty scant, but no problems and I suppose better environmentally. No carrier bags in store which would have been nice to walk away with but not a problem as I did have a bag on me. Overall, my experience was good & I like to buy all my audio equipment from Richer Sounds. Friendly staff as usual too.

London Bridge store was very helpful after i called up due to issues ordering on the website

My memory of shopping at Richer Sounds from a number of years ago was that the staff were extremely helpful, very non-judgemental (of my relative ignorance), almost frighteningly well-informed and knowledgeable, and pleasant to boot.
Having just made two visits there to purchase an upgrade on my (dumb - and rather agéd) television, it is gratifying and reassuring to find that Richer Sounds still provides the most excellent level of service. Cannot fault them.
