Excellent company to deal with

Excellent company to deal with. Great prices and the 6 year warranty is fantastic. One thing I would suggest is being able to check local stock online rather than calling the store. Have bought items from this company for years and they never let you down. Delivery was also excellent.

Excellent experience from start to…

Excellent experience from start to finish. The price was very competitive, the ordering process was quick and easy, and the delivery was fast and well organised. The amplifier arrived in perfect condition and was exactly as described. Richer Sounds is a company you can trust, with great customer service and excellent value for money. I will definitely buy from them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality audio equipment. Thank you!

The product was exactly what I wanted

The product was exactly what I wanted, L have owned a Denon amp for 25years plus and have been very happy with it sadly it stopped working through the tv/ee box.So I brought one from Richer Sounds and you give a six year warranty so no brainer.

Really helpful website, with good pricing information. Price was good too
The delivery service (Furdeco) was brilliant. They were on time, polite and helpful - which we all know can make or break a purchase experience.

Faulty TV

Faulty TV, called for help, needed to jump through hoops, take photos send videos, then something else, then when called, the team had gone home, i could buy one but not gey it replaced, hassle hassle hassle. Dont like poor service after purchased, don't be buying again fro richer sounds. If you can sell me an item till 8pm you should be able to deal with issues until 8pm or whatever time you close sales not oh its 5 o'clock quick scarper so I don't have to deal with a return.

I was of course concerned to read about the problems you experienced with your faulty television, and the subsequent replacement arrangements.

From investigation, I understand that the product was indeed successfully replaced within 48 hours of the fault being reported, so whilst I appreciate it may have appeared that the issue could not be progressed because the relevant team had finished for the day, in practice the replacement had to be arranged through a courier service and would, therefore, have needed to be scheduled in advance regardless. I want to assure you publicly that we always prioritise customers with faulty products, so if for any reason you felt like we failed in our duty of care to you, I apologise sincerely.

I will be reviewing the timeline with the team involved to understand where we could have made things simpler and more efficient, and furthermore a member of my team will also be in touch directly to make sure all is now well. Hopefully you can see from the 98% of positive reviews on Trustpilot that these problems are indeed rare, but I'm sorry for what happened on this occasion.

Incredibly heavy TV.

I ordered a Hisense 85” TV. Which is incredibly heavy. To be fair the weight is given in the specifications but I didn’t really count on how heavy that is.
It needs 2 or preferably 3 people just to lift out the box and fix the stand on.
I think there should be a clear warning on the website regarding this.
I have contacted the Guildford branch (although I did buy through the main website) who have suggested a local(ish) AV installation business who may be able to help but so far they have not responded. I therefore have a big TV sitting in a box that I cannot possibly setup on my own.

Edit 13/7/26 I now have the installation company coming in a few days time so hopefully all good 👍

Thank you for leaving us a review. I'm sorry to hear you've found setting up your new TV more challenging than expected. Whilst the weight of the TV is included within the specifications as you point out, and our deliveries are carried out by two-person teams which we specify in the delivery information, I can appreciate the the practicalities of unpacking and assembling an 85" TV are a challenge, and will see what we can do on our website to make sure customers are appraised of this.

I'm pleased to understand that the installation company recommended by our Guildford store has since been in touch. Hopefully they'll be able to assist you in getting everything set up and ready to enjoy, but should you encounter any further difficulties please don't hesitate to get in touch..

Excellent service from order to…

Excellent service from order to delivery, the dedicated delivery guys BJS didn't deliver to the correct room (I said take it straight through, meaning to my living room, but they left it in my hall, not a major issue but still worth mentioning), would still use again, no major issues at all, very pleased with the price as well, good job Richer Sounds!

Summer sport saved

A TV I bought earlier in the year developed a fault so I needed a replacement for the football, cycling, tennis etc. I am a previous customer of RS and have always been happy with their service. This is the first time using web sales but everything was smooth and hassle free.
