Fake SCAM company! DO NOT ORDER!
Stole money for Chrome Decking Rope & Plate Rope Post Fitting. It was never delivered probably because it's a FAKE COMPANY!

Please avoid. No refund given for a returned item over 6 months ago and now ignoring calls and email.

These people are rip off merchants. Goods were purchased online and an order confirmation received but then no goods were delivered. Someone called Matt stated in an email that international suppliers were repeatedly letting him down. He later agreed to a refund but the money never appeared in my account and all email and telephone contact ignored. Don't go anywhere near this outfit. Absolute crooks!

I don't believe the legitimacy of any review on here praising this company for their service and delivery.

I ordered 2 stainless steel cleats on 4th May. I was advised by email they had been dispatched the following day.

Nothing has arrived (22 days and counting). No one from Ridethewaves (or Rope World) answers the 'phone, no matter what time of day you call, and no one returns calls in reply to voice messages left. My emails have also been ignored.

This company shouldn't be allowed to trade. They are taking customers money and then not fulfilling the orders.

Please buy elsewhere.

We have ordered several times from Rope World / Ride The Waves for items going into some really prestigious events across the UK and they have delivered on time every single time. In tough times, to have a company to rely on is appreciated and really valued.

We often have very last minute requirements for ropes and/or fixings and Matt is super helpful, replies within a few hours and has helped us out of some sticky situations, saved our bacon more than once now! Order placed one day and within a few days if not sooner.

A really friendly, helpful team and we will definitely be using them again for our future orders. Highly recommended

We received our bannister rope and fittings and they were exactly what we ordered, in good condition and are good quality. They included an apology card in the package.

We ordered on 22nd Jan. Payment problems meant we didn't get to pay until 12th Feb. On 1st Mar we were given the choice of swapping items to ones that were in stock or holding out for the ones we ordered arriving. We chose to hold out. The kit was sent out on 8th Mar by Hermes but we didn't receive it until 26th Mar.

It does appear they are still having substantial problems due to covid/illness etc which has had a negative affect on their processes, comms and supplies.
They cannot be blamed for the further delays caused by Hermes.

I placed an order online in Early December; delivery was stated as 2-3 days. After 2-weeks I sent an email asking for an update; they didn't reply but I received a "shipped" notification. By early Jan I still hadn't received the goods. They don't answer emails & never answer the phone. I have had to take up with the credit card company. Worst buying experience I have ever had!

Do not buy from this company or Ropeworld, they are both part of Walton Industries and will steal your money. I,m currently going through my bank to get the money back which they stole on 28/11/20. Pity I live so far away as I would end up doing time for them

I ordered on line one week ago, paid for next day delivery, no order, no replies to calls, emails. I'm going to report to trading standards, company house and watchdog unacceptable if you do not get in touch .

I too have been conned. Money taken and never received my order. Tried many times to call and email no response from the company! There is no excuse if the company is in trouble...Simply close the website so people cannot order...or never thought... that must be part of the scam!

I called this company on many occasions and they are unable to simply answer the telephone. I also sent an email and they cannot respond to emails either.... Such poor customer service...if they actually care! After a week trying to make contact with this company I must go elsewhere what a waste of my time.... can't be a real company to behave in such a shocking way...be cautious..go elsewhere..

0 stars. Money taken 10 weeks ago and goods still not arrived. No response from them to my follow up emails, calls, messages. DO NOT USE. Awful.

as all the other reviews. bought and paid for items 8 weeks ago now. no contact via email or by telephone. Please do not use these con artists. The website is misleading you will not receive any items

I ordered a rope banister from this company and it has not arrived. DO NOT BUY!

Same experience as others. Mid June I ordered some deck hinges, they sent the wrong one. I've tried emailing and calling them for 7 weeks now with no response.

Like many on here, I paid for goods that were not received. No response to emails or chat on their website, phones not answered. However I used the chargeback system through my bank and the money was in my account 48 hours later. Very easy process and I suggest everyone does this if possible

Ordered twice from this company,
Slight delay both times but it looks like they have struggled during Covid and are doing their best to get orders fulfilled,
Parts arrived with a card apologising and explaining the delay
Would not put anyone off from using this company,

I ordered via Ropeworld, but have had to instigate a chargeback as they don't actually exist as a company. This company 'Ride The Waves' uses the same phone number and will simply steal your money.

They only have one star because I can’t give them zero. I ordered stair rope and fittings. Absolutely disgusting if they were genuinely having problems they would have the good manners to reply to emails

Ordered 2 x 3 mtr rope and brackets 31st may. Received 22nd june but rope 2 mts long so not use to me!! Emailed numerous times .. no reply don't answer phone so only choice is the raise a paypal dispute!
