Thank you, Lucy and Sonya, for such an inspiring and thoughtfully facilitated workshop. The Ride the Wave Coaching Immersion Day offered practical tools, meaningful reflection, and a genuinely supportive space to grow. My experience with RTW was one of learning, development and fun. Lucy and Sonya are absolutely the best. The coaching training is so beautifully crafted to suit people from varied backgrounds who want to be a coach. My favourite aspect of the programme was the practice sessions we had every time we learn something new. With my background in education, I love applied knowledge and RTW is perfect for that. I started coaching soon after completing my training and I felt equipped to do it. The cherry on top is the supportive community you become part of.

Modules run over several months with coaching opportunities and supervision taking place in each module and between the modules. I have been leading and managing people for over 30 years now but the Ride the Wave Programme made sense of 'tactics' I'd naturally developed over the years and refined them and also gave me some more coaching tools to consider. The real value of this programme (for me) was the relaxed and immersive nature of regularly coaching and then receiving feedback. I'd recommend it to anyone, regardless of being new to coaching or if you'd like to simply brush up your generic skills. My fellow Surfers on the programme were from all over the globe so the diversity of thought and different cultural perspectives was an added bonus. Thanks Lucy & Sonya :)

Lucy and Sonya have smashed this... their approach to real-world coaching training has been invaluable to me already in so many ways. And I am only just scratching the surface of what is possible. Their energy, breadth of course material and clear passion for the subject is infectious. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking at coaching seriously.

Ride The Wave #Social Impact Scholarship Programme has been a huge game-changer in my career and personal life. Not only has RTW cultivated self-confidence, but it has also given me all-important resources that are needed to make a positive impact within my network and field. Considering the effects of COVID-19, not only on patients, but also on NHS staff, I have offered pro bono Coaching to staff members; whereby facilitating a space for them to address any personal or work-related difficulties. This leap would not have been possible if not for the backing of the programme and my fellow ‘Surfers’. Prior to joining the programme, I co-developed a platform ‘theBuild’ which facilitates spaces for men to be their true and authentic self. Using my new coaching skills, I believe that this can be achieved by helping individuals to better understand themselves, their values and what they want from life. The aim is for them to live a happier and better quality of life. True to the name, Ride The Wave has supported me in riding the waves of life!

This programme/ course was very engaging, well crafted, super interesting and fun. They've got things well organised, structured and maintained. Fully recommend it.
