Should have read the reviews before giving my money away, no delivery only a piece of paper explaining that in the current COVID situation there will be no deliveries. Money taken and probably no goods.

Don't bother with these at all

Almost 2 weeks ago this company took £150 for some decking brass cups. I have never received them! Phone and email I try every single day. Nothing. Scam!

Ordered 36mm decking rope and fittings. They arrived within a reasonable time. The fittings were fine but the rope diameter measured about 25mm. After repeated attempted phone calls and no reply to emails, I packed the rope and returned for a refund. Hopefully a refund will be forthcoming soon but I am still unable to get in contact with them to confirm the refund a week later. As I was unable to get a reply from Ridethewaves, I had no choice but to reorder from another source.
Placed an order with Timko Ropes in the meantime and received high quality 36mm rope the next day.
Update 30July19 : Returned the rope via courier with a signature required but the courier has been unable to deliver on two attempts and still no reply to emails and phone calls. I've initiated a claim via my credit card provider as it looks like I'm not going to hear from RideTheWaves.
Avoid this company !!!

Stay clear of this company u get no response from them dnt email u bk totally ignored by them sent wrong item an completely no response wouldn't u them again discussing attitude to have stay well clear

I ordered some fittings for my boat and out of the two orders, one product was the wrong size and the other order was completely wrong. I asked for a refund and was told that I'd get it plus my return postage costs. This was over three weeks ago now and the proprietor refuses to acknolwledge my emails or refund the money. Disgusting service, shouldn't be in business. I will now have to go through the rigmarole of Paypal resolution service to get my money. Whatever you do, don't buy from this place!

I ordered some rope. They took my money and confirmed the order but the rope never arrived. I phoned and emailed. Each time it seems I was given false information that either it had been sent out or a refund had been given but nothing happened. In the end I opened a case with PayPal resolution centre and the company refunded me in a matter of hours! Do not trust this company. I will not be ordering from them again. Stay away. Be warned.

They were reasonably helpful with my initial enquiry, but after sales support was non existent. I was patient, polite and reasonable with the company, but did not receive a reply to my e-mails. My final e-mail threatened a review on here if I didn't receive a reply......and here it is!

It appears to me that this is a one man band, who's name is Matt.

Stick to one of the many reputable marine chandlers!

Appalling!! Do NOT use this company. I ordered rope which arrived but is the wrong size. Have phoned on many occasions and emailed but no one responds.
A waste of money.
I wonder if the company is based abroad.

I ordered things a week ago. Delivery quoted as two to three days. Sent e mail but no reply and phone not answered repeatedly.

Goods arrived today, eight days after ordering. Everything I ordered has been received as I expected from the website description. Their phone still remains unanswered even after a dozen calls but I do have what I ordered so no real complaints.

Ordered rope and fixings which came very quickly but the rope wa the wrong diameter. Several emails with ‘Matt’ and in spite of photographic evidence they wouldn’t accept it was the wrong rope. Gave up and sources elsewhere. Customer service appalling and emails barely literate
