Awful customer service
I made an order when sales started a few days ago. I spent an hour choosing the products as I love rituals and I always treat my family and friends with rituals gifts. They sent me an email that they are preparing it 2 days ago and today they cancelled it. I was so disappointed as all the products are not available any more. I contacted customer service through what's up and guess what they said that there wasn't a problem with stock but there were issues with delivery to my address. I never requested delivery to my address, it was supposed to be delivered to their shop in Oracle shopping centre so I could collect it at my convenience so all lies basically. I never got an email about parcel being dispatched. I had no idea which company was supposed to deliver it too. What a waste of my time. I can understand that you may run out of stock but please do not lie to me and try to cover your failure by trying to blame me that you couldn't deliver the parcel.

No customer service number. Ordered 2 weeks ago and package cant even be tracked. No information and no response from email. 90 euro wasted and will need to buy a back up present incase. Will not buy from here again. Avoid

Very awful customer service. They don’t even read complaint emails, don’t check what is added to orders, and refuse to accept their own mistakes. The information on the website is misleading. I have never experienced such bad customer service.

I ordered two expensive Christmas gift items on the 11th of December, to ensure delivery before Christmas.
Rituals chosen courier was Yodel and apparently an attempt was made on the 20th of December to deliver said items, which isn't true as I was at home all day and items were apparently returned to sender. No communication from Yodel or Rituals regarding delivery and Rituals "human" customer service was woeful at best. Extremely disappointed with Rituals online ordering, delivery and customer service. I shall write another review, should I ever receive the items I have ordered......watch this space!!!

Items not delivered
Hi,
I placed an order with Rituals on 14 December and I was assured that the package was picked up by the post office and the delay is at their end. A Post confirmed the item has not been received.
I was advised if the item was not delivered by Saturday 20 December that assistance will be provided. When I reached out on Saturday morning I was advised to wait until Monday.
But have raised my concerns that this is a gift for someone else, however they are extremely unhelpful!
No Christmas sales increase here!
The weekend before Christmas and there was only one person on the till. Two others folded napkins, two at the door and one just holding a basket. I said to them you can’t just have one at Christmas. Your sales will be lower. The said “oh right haha”. If I was your CFO I’d be worried.

I used the York outlet store 20/12/25 there was a queue of people with only 1 cashier. I muttered to my son as there was a woman gossiping an employee to another employee that they should be serving rather than gossiping. It turned out to be the managerss. Straight into my face arguing with me. She was horrible. She then proceeded to get security. I left my items in the store. Security then spoke to me but realised she was in the wrong. Her attitude was disgraceful all I wanted to do was pay.

So I bought a few gifts for my son, 7 to be exact, all skincare along with a large bath towel. I asked for the assistant in Glasgow Buchanan street to put in a few gift bags, she put in one small one and it had the cheek to have on the receipt enjoy your gifts… what gifts? I paid for them and you didn’t even have the decency to put in some large gift bags, says a lot about their customer care. I had to buy a cutlery holder in John Lewis to house the gifts, really a poor show!!!
Extremely dishonest company policy
Extremely dishonest company policy. The “free gift when you spend £45” promotion turns out not to apply in December, which is conveniently the busiest shopping period of the year. This was not clearly stated anywhere and I only found out at the checkout after completing my shopping. This feels deliberately misleading and disrespectful to customers’ time and money. Excluding December from such a promotion is a cheap marketing trick, clearly relying on the fact that customers will go ahead and pay anyway. Very poor transparency and customer treatment. I will definitely remember this experience.

I have ordered some products from Rituals Ireland... in email with tracking link it say UPS... but it's send by An-post... but problem is An-post haven't received it, Rituals say they sent it on 15 December... response we can't do anything about it... return if you can't see it in tracking on Monday.... then there is no chance to get it before Christmas... Order placed at beginning of December and I still haven't received it even though courier has it. What's app customer service bot continuously asks the same questions but no contact with a human to resolve issue. Now requesting a refund but again no response.

Order on saturday at bradford broadway. I wamted order delivered to another addresd. I spelt my surname letter by letter. She didnt repeat anything back. Gave me a recipt and said you will get email updates. I checked sat sunday and monday on spam emails nothing. I went back to the store. Cpuldnt find my recript so gave my email address. The staff Yusru couldnt find iy. I saod can i give you my name.she asked she couldnt find it she said to contact customer services. I asked for details. She said she doesnt know as dont keep them. I had to google. Why i was doing this i asked for a mamager. She said she was on lunch for an hr. When i got 2 customer services they too couldnt find my email address. I said its likely typed incprrect. Gave my name. Dhe found my details and gave me update on my order. Do i said to the staff why couldnt you find by my name. She said she didnt have same system as c/services. Yet she asked my name and pretendrd to find me. Because i said i wanted a manager she panicked and got another stagf. She even called security to say i was shouting. Sorry but with the music and talking to c_servives i sm gping to say domething when she was being unhelpful. Some asian girls think they work im places and talk hoe they want. I found my receipt i try to get her attention. Instead she tried to ignoring me by serving other customers. Ive worked in c/services and we deal with one perdon. Being pregnant for a few months and disbetic i felt the staff didmt want to deal with me. Customer services managed to help me. Found my irder and fave me an update. Staff at the store said you dont get emaild or updates om order i was disgusted. What kinda company is this. Warning to others. DONT ORFER FROM HERE. I will never shop again with this attitude

I ordered my wife's Christmas present on 28th November to ensure it arrived before Christmas. Nothing had arrived so got in contact on the 15th December, I was told that due to being busy they messed up my order. I asked for a refund and they said will take 14 days. So basically no Christmas present. Had to find this out on Facebook Messenger too, so no one to actually speak to. they couldn't care less as no one is held accountable for these errors. Awful experience.

Appalling
I purchased their car gift set on 10 December, 2025 and the money was deducted from my account the same day. Delivery was given as 1 or 2 days. I purchased the Car Gift set as a Christmas gift for my son.
I never received a confirmation email from Rituals. On 14 December I asked my son if he’d received the package from Rituals and he said no he hadn’t and so I visited the Rituals website and it said I had to check all my email folders, which I did extensively but could not find a confirmation email. I then tried to contact the company using their website information but hit an AI brick wall. I was presented with a WhatsApp number to contact and I received a response from someone called “Ray” who asked for a confirmation or order number, which I was unable to provide because I had not received a confirmation email. “Ray” then said he could not help me and refused to answer any further messages. I tried the email option but after completing the online email form I was again asked for a confirmation number and again I was not allowed to proceed. I am currently on vacation in South America and unable to make a direct call to the company to talk to their customer service and now I feel I will have to contact my bank to tell them I fear I have been scammed.
