Booking the holiday to Japan was easy as we knew what we wanted but Jaclyn was good as she suggested different dates.

I just went on a safari with Riviera, hosted by the wonderful Karen Holladay, supported by Ian and Jeff. This was a trip of a lifetime and everyone did everything to make sure it ran smoothly, any wrinkles ironed out elegantly and swiftly, and that the best time was had by all. Highly recommended. Beautifully curated and managed.

A great company to deal with, the cruise was of highest standard no complaints and recommend, the website needs a few tweaks but don’t let that but you off. The crew can’t do enough to make your stay nothing less than exceptional.

The website is easy to use and the staff on the phone are very helpful.

At the moment we have not gone on our planned cruise which is leaving 12th Aug. The original itinerary is departing from Budapest to Vienna. We have received 2 emails via Art of Travel saying the final confirmed itinerary will be 72hrs prior to leaving which would be Sunday , as I assume there cruise directors, will not be in till Monday leaving just 48hrs to make a decision on the revised itinerary. I would assume most holiday company want by the end of Monday. There provisional itinerary is picking up at Budapest airport and taking a 2.5hr coach trip to Bratislava missing out on 2 original ports in hungary. We will be staying there for 2 days then onto the next 3 planned stops then on the way back to Bratislava again for 2 nights. OK this is not confirmed yet . There has been no offer of a full cancellation refund or any compensation given if we go. We are also unsure if we do decide to go if there will be any changes while we are there like ship changes or more coaches to other ports. On reading, Riviera have a "Happiness Guarantee" and there no been no mention of that. Recent in Travel weekly this comment has been given by Riviera

I had trouble with easyJet online check in and a member of your staff Andrew Sage. Was extremely helpful. Kind and took time to talk me through the problem and finishing details for me.
I cannot thank him or send my appreciation enough for his care.

Good Booking Experience.
Usually book online, but needed to book by phone, to get an additional "welcome home" discount. Helpful friendly service from sales exec Laurie made the process very easy.

Really helpful and friendly with great advice. Answered my queries so that I could happily go ahead and book in safe hands.

Just returned from river cruise on the rivers Soane/Rhone which was very nice with excellent crew & food, given it was my fourth cruise with RT I knew what to expect except on this occasion the disappointment on day 1. We arrived on board after a 4am start at midday, on arrival the group asked if any food or drinks were available but was told NO & directed by the tour manager to restaurants some distance away, it was a blistering hot day & we were exhausted, it was the FIRST DAY of our EIGHT day holiday! Feeling cheated especially as day EIGHT we disembarked at 6.15am & only received a cardboard breakfast with a dry sandwich

Extremely helpful staff

The booking experience was excellent. The agent was very friendly and helpful, particularly in relation to resolving a particular issue I raised. Overall the whole process was concluded smoothly.

Easy and simple online booking procedure

Daniel dealt with our 2027 booking in a very professional, pleasant and understanding way. Answered any questions there and then.

Booking process was straightforward, Melanie P was able too find dates with availability of the cabin type we were looking for. The team were helpful when re-arranging the return flight to allow us a few extra nights in Porto.
The only slightly confusing thing was a "provisional booking" email (apparently automatically generated) which had the standard trip details, maybe this could have been stopped to avoid confusion,
Melanie was very helpful and knowledgable about the trips and options.
I hope the cruise itself matches the standard of the booking process.

We booked a tour of Canada which included the Rocky Moutaineer train trip. From the moment we landed in Calgary the holiday started off well and were met by our tour guide Linda Schlamp who throughout the holiday was a fountain of information and a brilliant problem sorter. Our coach driver up til we left Banff for the train was Ken he got us to places of interest safe and sound, he managed to get the coach into some pretty narrow spots.The train staff were brilliant full of knowledge and so enthusiastic it made us feel the were there just for us thank you Ashley and Shamus not forgetting the chefs Rupert and Emma the food was fantastic. So thank you Riviera Travel for a very memorable 10 days we will always remember.

Easy to talk to and understood what we were looking for very helpful and friendly

I just wanted to reaffirm that this Travel Company consistently go above and beyond!! I have just received a lovely surprise of a box of chocolates for my continued loyalty. I have been travelling for 50 years and I have yet to find a better tailor made tour company. Fabulous 5 stars for ALL departments and staff!!!
