it’s really hard to make decent money on these deliveries when gas is a factor, oil changes, new tires, and the wear and tear on my vehicle. I am grateful that I can make any money at all, but I don’t... See more

I love Roadie, can work at my convenience. Being retired, it’s a good way to make extra income. But the wait time for customers not being home could be shorter, takes up our time.

I enjoy the times to work. But due to only being able to drive 4 hrs at a time it makes it hard for me to except larger, longer gigs. Love the independence. Daily pay, and some customers even tip c... See more

Roadie keeps trying to change things

Roadie keeps trying to change things. Every week new rates. Lower of course. Adding more stops. Adding additional mileage. As a driver I refuse to take it. Roadie needs drivers more than we need them.

Very slow.

I have been setting almost 3 weeks waiting for my review to get done when they do a review on you. You can be setting from 3 to 4 weeks. My review they blocked me out of my account and won’t let me work because they needed a physical address change so I sent it in three weeks ago and I’m still sitting here with no money no food and no work I got on PayPal site changed my address. It’s been five minutes and they are approved down and OK there. My banks took me five minutes. Why does it take Roadie 3 to 4 weeks to get a review done and get you back into your account so you can start working.?

The pay for gigs is getting worse

The pay for gigs is getting worse; there are fewer and fewer gigs available; most of my offers lately have been rejected, so it’s getting more and more difficult to make enough money from this to be worth my while

Helpful/hopeful ideas from drivers point of view

Like most of the fixes made after the big Nation wide glitch last year, but bots are still an issue stealing gigs as they appear sometimes, I would love for roadie to bring back pictures of pick up items and make that mandatory, some customers give inaccurate dimensions or they just lie to subvert the rule or system, also many gigs have incomplete dimensions as well as incomplete address. Which makes it impossible to make accurate assessments if our vehicles are compatible for the gigs then to make things worse we are punished for this via our rank or being banned, thats completely unfair to your drivers, also it would be very beneficial to be able to see our rank with more information on its current status as well, and another great idea would be to give drivers the ability remove gigs that do not meet our criteria for being profitable or compatible for us think this would improve acceptance rate and speed at which the job could be done which I think is a win win for everyone! Also more information on how Gigs are accepted like what are the factors that help or diminish our chances of get the gigs we bid on, think transparency on the algorithm being use would be extremely helpful for drivers. Thank for the opportunity to share my thoughts and opinions.

Roadie has the volume but the rates are grim.

Roadie has the volume, which is a positive, but the rates paid are very low.

One other positive, though, is that you probably won't pay income tax since the IRS allows a $0.70/mile deduction and most gigs don't pay that much.

App is fickle

App can be fickle. As a driver I have to keep hitting the refresh button to see the new gigs. Also, the pay on smaller gigs are terrible. Some are some low it’s not worth leaving the house over. It would be very helpful if they Roadie allowed customers to add a tip after they receive the delivery. It would motivate the drivers more and would make the customers happier.
