Where do I start

Where do I start. Extremly poor service at St. Peters Square office. only want to get rid of you, just booked me on the Sistine Chapel/Museum Tour and St Peters. Arrived at meeting point at 10:00am. next day, tour guide stands around heads off not talking to anyone eventually she achieves her objective and rids herself of as many of the tourists as she can thus you are on your own. No audi guide, the app does not work even if you can work out how to get the app. Turned up for the St.. Peters tour at 3:00pm. late that day, no one there to meet so once again no audio tour. Incidentally I toured St. Peters the day before with no entry fee after I registered the card so I am unsure why they booked me on a tour of a attraction that was free, especially if they were not even going to turn up and conduct the tour. Today have tried to book the Colosseum via link on Omni website, booked for 2 days in advance so there goes the Colosseum. as I leave Wednesday. The whole thing is effectively a scam. yest they can deliver the products but it appears have no will to do so as they have a market share and this is obviously due to advertising as the app does not work, the info on the website is purely based around purchase not administration. I am very disappointed not with the waste of money but missed opportunities in Rome during a limited time frame.

Worth buying but needs preparation in advance

I am fully content with purchasing the card. Everywhere is informed, that you need to make reservation in advance for the Vatican and Colosseum. I do not understand why some people complain about it 😐 These are rules of Rome, not the Omnia Card.
The Hop on Hop off is very good and gives a chance to find directions in the city easily.
It is a bit difficult to find where does it stop at first, but after taking a round you get familiar. Absolutely suggesting to buy it 😊

I had bad experience buying the Omia…

I had bad experience buying the Omia Vatian and Rome Card. the card is advised as skip the line however, they did not tell me I need to purchase the card, then book a time slot after I receiving the card. I spent 9 euro.to mail my card to myself ahead of time, the problem is that with the card still I have trouble booking a time slot for Vatican museum because the website simply won't take my card number. I also could not book a time slot for Colosseum as no time slot is available by the time when I start to book. so buying omnia Vatican and Rome card is bad bad idea, that you pay but with no grantee for an entry. the best option is buying guided tour or entry ticket via the museum official website, and you get your ticket with time slot right a way with your payment. my trip will be in 17Aug2019, now it is 5July2019, I am asking a refund but don't know what they would say.

I booked the 72 hour pass because it…

I booked the 72 hour pass because it was advertised as value for money and it offers the skip the line option. However the website doesn’t say that the schedule you bought the ticket for is already fully booked. I bought a ticket last June in the hopes of admission to the Colisuem however there is no available slot from now until October. As a tourist, I wouldn’t be travelling to Italy for that long of a time. At most would only be spending 5 days. I don’t believe it is fair to keep on selling tickets if the coliseum is already fully booked. They could just put an announcement first that the next available date is next year instead of the customer having to buy another ticket from an independent tour group. Not a pleasant and very costly experience.

Rip off. Don't buy

Just came back from the Mamertine Prison. Had a reservation and was told i could not get in because there was an interview taken place. What?
Why was it possible to make a reservation for that time? Just come back later. I told them they could f** * off.
If you want to go to the colosseum, make reservations months before or YOU can f*** off. But they don't tell you that, first you have to buy the card. I had to buy a tour with getyourguide.com. We had a fast lane to the Vatican, that was good. But the card is not worth this price. Just get the Roma card for the transportation and arrange the tours yourself.

DO NOT BUY THIS CARD....BUT ROME is…

DO NOT BUY THIS CARD....BUT ROME is everything it should be.
Only skips the queues to the Vatican museum but does not give a guided tour. Lady at the omnia office told us about a "secret door " to the Basilica when we were told that all tours to the Basilica were fully booked! When we get the Omnia pack, (with the Roma pass) it stated that it would get us into the colosseum. But apparently things have changed since then and we would still have had to pay extra and queue to get in.
The hop on and off bus lost several stops that are still advertised on the map they are still giving out! Hard to know where the stops are and suddenly they were not going to the colosseum from one day to the next.
My advice would be to see the official tour guides who try to sell you fast track tickets but you can negotiate the prices. So overall you save no money with Omnia
Overall Omnia was very poor but Rome is beautiful, lively and full of history. Can't wait to go back but will play it differently.
Just wondering if Omnia company is in trouble financially as well as poorly organised?

Overall not happy with the Omnia/Roma…

Overall not happy with the Omnia/Roma pass we used for a family of 4 on May 13-15, 2019. Expensive for what you get. With the limited office hours to pick up the cards we had to pay extra for a tour of the colosseum. The worst aspect was the hop on/hop off bus. There are no signs for the bus stops. We even talked with Omnia office staff by the Pantheon and Vatican several times on where to pick up the bus and still had trouble finding it. The Omnia map was confusing as well in finding the exact location of the bus stops. We wasted about 45 minutes trying to find the bus stop, waiting for the bus and the 45 minute trip back to our apartment near the colosseum, so a waste of about a hour and half to 2 hours each day. Not to mention frustration. We used the pass for Castel Sant' Angelo on May 14, 2019 and the woman at admissions was extremely rude to us and not rude to non Omnia/Roma pass holders. Our third day we opted to not use the Omnia/Roma pass and used taxis and it was a much more pleasant experience. Would not buy again for our next trip to Italy. The one plus was the skip the line feature at the Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel and skip the line at St. Peter's Basilica.

Expensive scam

It took us 5 hours to get into the Colosseum, with our Skip The Line tickets. (they are not skip the line since you needed to make a line to get the ticket) The Skipping the line for The Sistine Chapel was the only good thing about this.
The Hop on Hop Off bus was good since you can use it all day, but they do not have a person and/or guide with commentaries about the places you are going. We use it more as transportation between the tourist sights. I would not recommend to buy this at all. The lines are unbelievable. You better get skip the line tickets guarantee than this.

Very Poor Value

The previous comments say it all about this card. I contacted customer services, requesting some recompense, before writing a review. They were very dismissive. It took us 4 hours to get into the Colosseum, with our Skip The Line tickets.
We did not gain anything from Skipping the line, at The Sistine Chapel, as the meeting point is so far from the location, it would have been quicker just to queue up with everyone else.
We spoke with customer services, about timings prior to attending, but because their advise was woefully incorrect, we missed our slot at St Peters Prison.
The Hop on Hop Off bus stop was not signposted, this was very confusing.
The only advantage we got was skipping the queue at St Peters and the audio guise was really good, but it was not straight forward to get this and we had to queue up for a bout 30 mins to get it.
It would have cost halt the price to do it ourselves. Very poor value. Consider buying the Roma Card on its own.
Post Script. Its taken the company 6 months, to post the reply as below.

Pricey but we'll worth the price . Just need to ensure you use it right and stand in the right queue and place to use the card

Had a decent experience with the card using which you can skip the line in a couple of places only on Rome and a couple in Vatican. It's expensive but worth it if you value your time spent in queues for the top attractions and have very limited time to visit them. The company can do better for providing directions though, like us stops for the hop on hop off were not clear and meet-up points were incorrectly shown even by their own agents from their card pick up centres. We almost ended up forgoing our time slot to the Vatican because an Omnia agent had clearly marked us to stand at a parallel street and wait for the guide come and pick us up using the time tags. We ran around like hares and fortunately found a similar looking group walking else where .But when used right, it's a good card to visit the attractions.

A little disgruntled from our experience!

We bought this card so that we could skip the lines, which is not legit. The first day we tried to go to the colliseum, we spent ages walking around trying to figure out who we were supposed to talk to - and then when we finally got to the front of the line - they said it was sold out for the day and that we would have to come back there the next day to wait in line and register! The next day we went back and waited in line for 2 hours and got a time slot for a few hours later that day. When we returned 20 minutes ahead of schedule to where we were supposed to wait - there was a massive line and we waited another 1.5 hours in the pouring rain. It was so disorganized it was disgusting! It was a bit of a joke meeting the tour guide for the vatican as they said nothing to us and we just walked with them for a good 15-20 minutes in a massive group and then everyone went their own way. I thought it was going to be guided? Some Communication would have been good here!
There were no times available to see St Pauls Cathedral but thankfully the amazing Omnia worker told us there is a backdoor you can access St Pauls from the Vatican, which we found with no worries.

The transit option was great - metro was very useful. The bus was descent, but took a long time to get anywhere and the bus wasn't super frequent and stops were hard to find and not clearly marked.

We expected more from this service as it was quite expensive. We were particularly annoyed about the colliseum and this left us with a bitter taste in our mouth about our Rome experience. Omnia what you are trying to do is great, but I think you need to dial in some more of your services to make sure you can operate more fluently before you expand any more, otherwise you will continue to have unhappy customers. Cheers!

Good but they don’t tell you well enough about booking attractions

The Omnia card I think generally is a good concept but they definitely need to improve the pre purchase information and plainly state what needs to be booked and how far in advance. We chose to collect our cards on day two of our visit but then found that we could not book in to see the Vatican and St Peter’s until the last day of our trip because it was fully booked the other days. We then went to the Borghese Gallery only to find they were fully booked until 21st May.

In short - if you buy this card you need to book your attractions well in advance to get a remote chance of entry on the dates you want. Otherwise, as we did, you walk miles and just end up disappointed and frustrated

I also agree that the hop on off bus service needs better signage to know where to stand otherwise you will be running to catch up with the bus when it stops

It was ok

We probably didn't use the price of the ticket on our 3 days in Rome.
The travel pass seems really affordable however underground ticket prices were only 7 euros a day each anyway.
Booking for the Vatican City museum also seemed more convenient than queuing up however it still took around an hour to get in.
We were also not told, in advance, to pre book our ticket for the Colosseum. By the time we were told: the tickets were all sold out so we still had to queue and pay full price for this even though it was the main reason we got the Rome pass to begin with.
Fast entry was useful for St Peters Basilica, Forum and St Peters Prison.
If I went to Rome again I would probably not buy this pass but I suppose it depends how many tourist attractions you are going to use.
I also wrote to the company about what happened to us regarding the Colosseum on 27th April and I have yet to hear anything back from them.

Don't buy an Omnia Pass!

We bought the Omnia Pass thinking it would make life easier on our short trip to Rome, but in fact were left very disappointed and frustrated! We still had to wait in long queues - although the Omnia Pass means you have paid upfront, you still need to queue to actually obtain a physical ticket! Despite this, our main frustration with the Omnia Pass was how little information we were given by the staff in Rome re: meeting points, directions, etc. They gave us the bare minimum of information & weren't terribly helpful. One staff member was actually confrontational & rude. What happened to good customer service Omnia? Would definitely not recommend the Omnia Pass to anyone visiting Rome as we don't think it was worth the money or the hassle.

Don't waste you're time or money.

Waste of money. Cut out the middleman and do it yourself.

Update 29/04/2019: I wrote to the company to complain about their service and voice my frustration. My emails have gone unanswered for over a week. another nail in the coffin I'm afraid. Don't expect any type of customer service here.

- Cheaper in the long run to pay for transport once you arrive. The nature of Rome lends itself to taxi's and Uber more than buses and trains. A trip across the city will cost 15euro max in a taxi.
- Out of the 3 attractions I booked, I only saw one as they booked me into a time slot that was outside of the attractions opening hours for that particular day, the other was when I went to book on their website they informed me that all time slots were full for my travel days, so I was immediately down money. To make matters worse, I chanced going to the attraction to see if I could get in, no problem. Queue wasn't even that long so I fail to see the issue here.
- One more thing is that the pass states you can skip the queue at the Colosseum with a flash of your pass, not true, you still have to wait in line 2-3 hours to collect the tickets in the first place.

In the long run, it's absolutely pointless, save you money and book the attractions you want individually and get a taxi the odd time you need it, everything is within waking distance anyway. Down over 400 euro for 4 of these passes.

Do not waste your money

Do not waste your money, we are in Rome as I write this. As soon as we said we had Omnia Cards and Roma passes no one wanted to help. The Vatican is amazing well worth a visit, you do not need Omnia card for any specific benefit. There are plenty of skip the line options. By the time we had been sent to this line and that line we had wasted 1 1/2 hours. We booked our Vatican museum tour, as other people have stated we were marched along a route which is quite a way and then just left. The Colloseum, hmmmm after 2 1/2 hours again of being put in this line and that line, you have to make a reservation, which we didn't kow, we went to the office, we were told we could call, no one answered the phones, or go online to book, we tried no availability, or go across the road and queue. I asked the lady had she seen that line she just smirked! We explained we'd already been put in three different lines, she shrugged her shoulders. I lost my temper and told her these cards were a waste of money to which she laughed. We could have paid, skipped the line, got straight in without these cards! Again well worth seeing but YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE THESE CARDS. As for the hop on hop off bus have seen two! No times of when they run, no garauntee they will stop, better to do a hop on hop off tour and purchase on the spot. I would not have given any stars if I'd had the option, paid 196 euros for things that have cost around 120 euros, but the stress and time wasted has cost a lot more! One very unhappy customer.

Rome Italy Omnia Card Do not buy

There is no information on the Omnia website that the busses have not been alloved to stop at bus stop 1 and 16, just outside the vatican.
This means that you have to walk 2 km extra each way before arriving at the meeting point. When you finally get to the meeting point you are asked to walk another 2 km around the Vaticane before you reach the entrance.
If you start early to visit the Vatican, the queue is no longer than the extra long walkingtime and waiting time you are exposed to with a Omnia Card. You do NOT save any time and money with a Omnia Card at the Vaticanestate.
I also paid for a visit at the Collosseum. Omnia just forget to tell me that it was impossible with their card, because you must registrate the ticket on an public office and get an exat time to enter, without this you will not get in. Waitingtime 2 - 3 month !!!!!. Thank you Onmia.

We were treated bad at the yellow hop on / off busses. I have an issue with my health, i cannot sit down like a healthy person, and i having a hard time by standing up in a bus. Therefore i asked for 2 unused seats back in the bus. After the first stop, four healthy Italian or French people was demanding my and my wife's seats. I was forced to stand up the rest of our trip. The employee did not care at all about it and asked me to stand up. We will never use this company again, and we do not recommend anyone to buy anything from them.

Only positive vas our Guesthouse - Very helpfull and understanding

Sincerely
