I bought a (towbar mounting) Altera Strada DL bike rack from The Roof Box Company in 2016.
It has been a great tool, being used on almost every holiday and weekend away for nine years. The sliding mechanism, allowing the tailgate of my pickup truck (Nissan Navara) to be opened, works perfectly.
This weekend the key broke, leaving me no alternative but to cut off the locking securing strap to release my bike.
I contacted The Roof Box company first thing Monday morning seeking help, via their contact page. Within 10 minutes I had a detailed reply from Charlotte, with links to all the products I needed to order (including a link for just the strap, as I thought I would need a whole clamp assembly, thus saving me money).
I ordered two keys, the strap and express delivery for £29.90, and they were delivered, 28 hours from my initial contact.
Great support, for a great product, from an efficient, genuine company. Can't recommend too highly. Many thanks.

I purchased some roof bars recently for my car, which arrived next day. I needed to get in touch with a question regarding the courier, so I called the team who were exceptional in getting my query resolved and cannot praise the customer services team highly enough - particularly Rory & Laura who went above and beyond to help. The products are also great - value for money and high quality. 10/10, 5/5, I couldn't rate them higher!

I ordered a roof box and roof bars a few years back. their communication was outstanding.

I recently had to contact them again as I got a new car, and the roof box struts lost their strength. The customer service is absolutely amazing. They talked me through my options for the bars, sent spare parts for the roofbox next day delivery, i would definitely recommend this company and will be buying from them again.

I ordered the Thule roof bars and the Thule 598 bike racks on a Friday afternoon, low
and behold, they were delivered to me in Kent on Monday morning, how is that for service. I placed the order by telephone with Clare because I needed her advice which proved invaluable. One thing I will say is that Thule state that you cannot open your panoramic sunroof, however, for some unknown reason we can with our Kia Sportage 2024 model.

Superb customer service from this company (especially Robin) to resolve issue with roof rack

We purchased an expensive buzz rack towbar bike rack from this company for up to four bikes, it’s a shame because the reviews seem good, the customer service has been good, but the quality is cheap and poor, it hasn’t lasted that long, it lives in our insulated garage and doesn’t make a journey further than 5 miles at a time, gets taken off and stored in my boot when not in use, so has minimal outside exposure.

The rack has never stay fixed to the towbar and swings side to side when driving (even when done up tight), followed the videos and instructions, even asked for customer service support.

It’s almost at the end of its life after 2 years, it has rusted all over from a tiny bit of rain on a journey home, some of the clamp clips failed within months, the clamp to fit to the towbar failed and the bolt is rusted.

I wish I have got a Thule like my friend recommended.

This was my second purchase from the Roof Box Company and they again have great service in terms of delivery etc. One factor that makes them stand out from the crowd is their lock swapping service which is just brilliant.

Ordered a Thule towbar bike carrier, which arrived promptly. I had trouble getting to seat on the tow bar, but one call gave me the solution. Excellent service!

I ordered the wrong roof box. I emailed the company Sunday day time. Monday morning i had a response. They changed my order adjusted payment. Roof box arrived today. 10/10 brilliant

Bought roofbars and box. I wanted to change the bars after the order so emailed them using the online contact page and it was sorted with ease. Delivery was quick.

Getting the right bars and box to fit can seem like a bit of a minefield but the site takes most of that pain away as you can put your car make and model in and it shows your options.

So great to find a company that provides great customer service after you have purchased a product. A problem with my bike carrier was handled in a helpful and professional way and a repair was arranged in expert fashion. Congratulations for putting excellent customer service at the heart of your business.

Ordered a new set of roofbars to replace my previous set. Have used roof box company before. Unfortunately the box came without the fitting kit which had obviously come out during transit as the box had been hastily taped back up. I contacted the company about this and ti.e was if the essence as I was due to leave for my trip on Sunday. They got the replacement to me on a special delivery arriving on Saturday. Trip saved, great customer service!!!!!

Outstanding customer service from start to finish. Can’t be beaten on price after a long search across the internet. The Thule Key service is fantastic and refund processed at the end when I sent the locks back as the one key feature is a must get! I will make all my purchases through this company in the future to support them.

So helpful and so knowledgeable. If you’re not sure what may, or may not, work with your car just ask them. I don’t think I’ve come across better customer service. I was able to return my first bike rack because it was a bit of a struggle to fit, having a spare wheel on the back of the car. They took measurements to check clearances and the Thule is perfect for the job. Can’t rate this team highly enough, especially Charlotte.

Superb customer service. We ordered a bike rack which arrived promptly but had unfortunately been damaged in transit. I let the roof box company know, and they supplied a replacement the next day AND took away the damaged one at the same time. Very happy with the service, and competitively priced too . I will definitely use this company again for any future purchases and highly recommend.

Third time I have used this company. Always very impressed. Customer service is fantastic, always quick to respond to pre order questions. We had delivery issues with our most recent order due to house being a bit of a pain to find and missing a call from delivery driver while we were out. I received a call from Brenda at roof box company regarding the issue within minutes of the delivery company updating the status to failed and within 10 minutes the driver had returned to deliver. You can't ask for more than that!!!

Reported one minor missing part. Instant connection to a very helpful human by phone and part was identified and a promise to get it mailed same day. No need for forms or othre hassle. Wonderful.
