I attended an appointment with the lovely Will last Friday..I was nervous and got news that made me feel a bit sad.. however the service provided was first class.. so informative but mostly so kind and respectful..there was no hard sell on treatments or wonder products which I found refreshing and was relieved.. I am so happy I went and an so looking forward to my follow up appointment.. all in all an amazing service ❤️

Wil explained everything in detail what was going on with my scalp and showed me the hair follicles under microscopic via iPad, gave me specific treatment to follow which wasn’t full of harsh chemicals or too expensive.

My 9-year old daughter has been suffering hair loss since summer woth no apparent cause (GP, bloods etc). We booked an appointment with Wil who, first of all, was amazing with our daughter (addressing her directly, involving her in all conversations), secondly the breadth and depth of knowledge was fantastic. Further, we were emailed a full breakdown of the meeting the very next day. We left reassured and with a plan to move forward with. Highly recommended, and hugely grateful.
PS. The welcome we had when we arrived at reception was also superb - could not have been nicer!

I had an appointment with will flesson at root cause clinic I was very nervous at first thinking nothing could be done about my hair but will put me at ease explained everything in great detail and gave me hope recommended which treatment to get prescribed of my doctor I would highly recommend this companie

My appointment with Wil Fleeson was so reassuring and informative. I was nervous and quite stressed beforehand but felt very relieved afterwards. Seeing a tricologist is expensive but it was definitely worth the money. I had an appointment with Wil. I've suffered hair loss for many years without any real explanation from GPs or dermatologists. Doctors didn't care really, but the issue was seriously undermining my self-confidence and causing a lot of anxiety. I'd given up hope and was convinced medication I'd been given for an underlying condition had finally caused permanent damage. I was wrong. Wil was thorough in his examination, was kind, approachable and understanding in attitude, and clearly explained what was happening. I felt very much at ease and in good professional hands. I now have a treatment plan and hope is back(!). Highly recommended.

I had an appointment with Wil. I’d made the appointment following some hair thinning. I was immediately at ease with how friendly and approachable Wil was from the initial welcome.

He went over my answers to the pre-appointment survey, asked some follow ups and explained clearly everything he was looking at and why. No overwhelming jargon, while not being condescending. After my scalp was checked (a new experience, I didn’t think I’d ever see my scalp hugely magnified!) he gave me an explanation and some suggestions to help regrow my hair faster should I be wanting to take that option.

There were no hard sells or pressure to take a certain treatment route. I couldn’t recommend him or RootCause more. I’ll recommend them to anyone who asks or to anyone who is considering seeing a specialist.

After losing hair rapidly and being distressed about this I booked an appointment with Wil, I was so glad I did as recently having had breast cancer assumed hair loss was to do with hormone tablet I was on when in fact blood tests showed deficiency in vitamins, left the appointment feeling happy with information and help provided by Wil that if I deal with the vitamin deficiency then hair loss should be temporary and will grow back….Thankyou

I visited Root Cause, Glasgow on 9 October 2025 and saw Wil. Before my visit I completed a Pre Consultation Survey and uploaded photos of the problem areas on my scalp.  Wil also wanted to see my Blood Test results too which were also forwarded on before my visit.  
Wil really cared and explained everything to me in a way I understood.  I have come away with a treatment plan and will return for a visit in 12 weeks time to see how things are progressing.  
Would highly recommend Wil to anyone suffering hair loss.

I attended the clinic to see Wil on 1st Oct, after an acute onset of severe hair shedding, which was extremely distressing.
I was met with warmth and kindness which put me at ease. Wil was very thorough and I felt confident that the assessment was much more holistic that I had previously experienced.

Wil explained everything as he progressed through the consultation and arrived at a diagnosis and treatment plan. He provided me with confidence in his expertise and some hope for a positive outcome.

I received the report from Wil very promptly, and I will follow the treatment plan suggested for 12 weeks. I will attend a follow up consultation with Wil to assess the situation.

Mr Wil Fleeson was very didatic explaining my health issues that were causing my hair loss and proposing a path of treatment. His report is very informative and the treatment plan is affordable and easy to follow.

I visited Will a week ago with concerns about chronic hair thinning. I had already submitted a pre clearance consultation questionnaire and I was impressed with his empathy, real listening to my concerns and professionalism. He gave me real hope that something effective could be done. I have now ordered Minoxidil through Will’s clinic and will be returning in 6 months for a review. The written report was sent to me quickly (though Will had already given me a verbal assessment at my appointment) and was genuinely informative.
The impact of my hair problems on my confidence has been considerable over the years and I now have a sense of hope that something can be done. Highly recommend

I visited Wil today for a six month consultation after my initial visit in March 2025.
I visited in March as I’d noticed that my hair seemed to be thinning and was anxious to see what could be done.
Wil explained that my hair was growing back in much thinner strands and this explained the loss of volume.
He explained that a solution containing Minoxidil with oestrogen would help with growth and that we should see the difference in six months to a year.
At today’s visit Wil was able to check my hair density and inspect the hair follicles and after six months there is considerable more hair growth and the hair follicles are much thicker - absolutely ecstatic!
I will continue with the solution and will be back to see Wil in another six months.

I attended recently due to hair shedding. Felt vey welcome, and Dr Fleeson was friendly and concerned, explaining things in a way I could understand. Was quick to follow up with his report and recommendations. highly recommended.

Excellent, I attended the consultation with my mother in law who has been suffering with hair loss for some time. Dr Will was able to provide reassurance to my mother in law and actions she can take to help with her hair. Dr Will knows his stuff and offers a calm and non-judgemental space. My MIL is so happy and optimistic for the future.

I attended RootCause Clinic on the 11th September for advice about my worsening hair loss.Wil put me at ease straightaway,he was very welcoming and I felt relaxed. I was glad to get answers, reassurance and a treatment plan for my hair loss and hair thinning. I should have visited a lot sooner! There is so much information online but it's best to see an expert!
