I met with Lisa last week and it was nice meeting her. She talked extensively and explained everything related to the hair health also asked about the details of everything in my life from food, style , work , family ..etc. she advised about how some treatments can affect my health in the future and advised to avoid them . Thanks for her advice.

I met with Will a few days ago and he was very professional providing clarity on the current issues with my hair and a strategy to work on together so the density of my hair can be improved. He explained what was happening with my hair in a clear and concise manner. I found the whole process friendly and professional . I was made to feel at ease and would highly recommend Will and Root Clinic if you are having questions about your hair journey!

I met with Wil Fleeson last week and wish I did it sooner. He was reassuring, clear, professional and kind. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs advice or treatment.

Will Fleeson is an amazing person. He totally owns the Tricology space . I have never felt so sure in the hands of an expert.Everything he tells me happen .My hair growth is ridiculous.I would recommend him to everyone !!!!

Had my first consultation with Mr Wil Fleeson at the clinic on 19/06/2025, very informative and great to at last speak with someone who understood my condition. I have seen many so called professionals over the past year and had no success, Mr Fleeson explained everything very clearly and set out a straight forward plan of action for me, I will follow the instructions given and hopefully see a positive result over the next few months.

Lisa was very easy to get on with and knowledgeable about hair conditions and causes for hair thinning. She gave me the kick up the backside I needed to start thinking about what I am eating and helped identify what improvements to my diet including Vitamin supplements could be made to improve my hair. I immediately visited a supermarket on the way home to stock up on healthy foods and it has encouraged me to quit the ready meals 😊

i very recently attended an in person consultation with Mandy at her clinic in Congleton, Cheshire.
I found her to be very warm and friendly and particularly knowledgeable and professional.
She listened very carefully to my concerns about the ongoing issues i have have experienced with Hair loss over the last 6 years which were as a result of significant physical and emotional traumas i had suffered approx 6 years ago.
Mandy was extremely understanding and displayed considerable empathy.
She carried out a comprehensive assessment of my scalp and hair with her trichological equipment and then explained to me in detail what she felt were the issues.
Mandy suggested a number of options moving forward and we agreed on an initial protocol which i intend to follow.
I have agreed to a follow up consultation in a few months to review the situation.
I cannot recommend Mandy highly enough.

Wil reviewed all the details I’d given, then clearly described the upcoming procedures, at the end of which he gave me his diagnosis and possible next steps. All very simple and understandable, with the promised follow-up email arriving on schedule.

I saw Wil in the Edinburgh clinic 6 months ago to discuss my hair loss and get a diagnosis and found him extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and kind. He came up with a diagnosis promptly and we began a treatment pathway. I also opted for a genetic test and am so glad I did as it took some of the guesswork as to what would work and what wouldn't. I saw him in clinic last week after 6 months of treatment and it's working!( He always was upfront about it not being a quick fix which I commend) I could tell he was as delighted as me. We will continue the treatment and review again in 6 months. Highly recommend.

I attended an in-person appointment with Wil. I found him to be thorough and extremely knowledgeable. More importantly, he was extremely kind and understanding, particularly important when you are experiencing hair loss. After my consultation I had a much better understanding of the reasons behind my scalp problems /hair shedding and more importantly a plan in place to treat these. The follow-up report provided a very clear summary of our discussion and my treatment plan. I am so glad that I booked an appointment and sought advice from Wil.

I have been speaking to Wil and Victoria from Root Cause Clinical since late 2024 and after a detailed series of assessments and tests they have put in place a treatment plan for my hair loss. Almost 4 months in and I am delighted to report that the dramatic shedding has stopped. My hairdresser can see new growth so we are waiting to see if this thickens my hair.

The service I have received from Wil and Victoria, and Belinda when I went for a scalp scan, has been excellent. They take time to listen to you, explore all options and take into consideration other health issues, so I have always felt heard.

If you are considering, do it! I was on the fence about seeing someone other than a doctor after I noticed sudden bald spots on my scalp. Lisa told me everything I needed to hear. After having suffered from gradual hair loss for more than a decade, and finding medical professionals being dismissive about the issue, I felt quite defeated about finding any solutions to my problem and lost about what to do next.
Finding a suitable Trichologist in London seemed an overwhelming (and expensive) path for potentially no improvement. However, after meeting Stephen (based in Saffron Walden, Essex), who was incredibly approachable and empathic speaking about hair loss, I decided to book an in-depth consultation and found it to be a bit of a revelation.

We completed an in-depth questionnaire about my current hair health, care routine and any treatments attempted previously. Stephen then looked at my scalp under a camera, which was very educational to see the issue in magnified detail and then walked me through potential next steps for a treatment plan.
It’s clear that knowledge about female hair loss and treatment options available have improved a lot in the last 10 years as there are now a variety of options to pursue (depending on the underlying cause), which at least offer the chance of improvement and I had no idea existed.
Stephen was incredibly patient and knowledgeable throughout the process, and sympathetic to how emotional an issue hair loss can be.
I am still at the start of my Trichology journey, but the whole process has offered me hope and finding the Root Cause Clinical team has been a huge factor in removing the intimidation factor of going to a Trichologist and making the process easy. Thank you!

I was really nervous about my appointment and apprehensive, as I have tried for two years to get answers to the problems I was experiecing with my scalp. I felt other health professionals did not take the time to listen to my concerns. From the minute I met Wil, he put me at ease. He listened, as I explained my concerns and did not make me feel like I was being silly when explaining what I had experienced. My teenage daughter had been struggling with excessively oily hair and some hair loss for two years.
