Bullies that need to be shut down.

Ok this organisation should be reported to the financial authoroty, Advisors are rude and they are bullies. When called today and stated the Christians Against Poverty were dealing with my case they threatened court action and a prison sentence if payment was not recieved within 7 days. I believe the government needs to be informed of this organisation and it needs to be shut down with emediate effect. They have no concideration on peoples problems and we need to campaign to get these companies shut down.

Please sign my petition named Rundles Bullies on Change.org to get them shut down.

Get help from.....

Please everyone get help from citizens advice bureau and Martin money saving website. You can get help with daft companies like this. Also remember they are not the police and they do not have the right to enter your home. You do not have to open the door to them and if they force entry you can ring the police. Don't be scared by these waste of space people. Lilly was very rude. They don't care if the debt is not yours and they don't even want to see proof. Lilly also refused for me to speak to the manager, which of course shows that she knows she was giving me the wrong advice and ridiculous customer service.

The most stupid organisation in UK

The most stupid organisation in UK. They kept sending text to me that they will shortly issue an agent to visit my home. Unfortunately the text was always sent to my official number which confirms to me that they are scam. I now called them and they asked for my name which I replied with a fake name. Immediately the lady that picked my call said she will remove my number from their system. What does that mean they are bunch of thieves and scammers. If they send text to you, call them and threathen them.

Not trustworthy

This company text me out of the blue this morning. I have had no letters from any company saying I am in arrears and no contact from them. When I called and refused to give them my personal information they would not speak to me. Do not trust them, don’t give them any information.

They don't care if you paid…

They don't care if you paid before, and, because of losing job for a week, you asked for one week extra and having wife in vulnerable condition. It is a good method to do money in pandemic.Even if you were a good payer all years,I really dont know why council hire that kind of people. No simpathy at all.Just to add fees on the top, even if you are vulnerable. They really don't care.Do you think they care about these review?Rundles will carry on doing the same job.And this means the LA doesn't care about their people when they hire that kind of people.

Worst Debt Collector Imaginable

This company are a complete disgrace and have absolutely no shame in how disgusting and unreasonable they are with people!! Took my debt on from the council and gave just one week (2 days after Christmas) to pay a 20% deposit and set-up a payment plan!! I called them as soon as they were open in the new year to explain I did not have the deposit until the 6th January and even after showing them my empty bank account they refused to prevent any bailiffs coming to my door over the Christmas and new year period. I spoke to multiple people on the contact centre and they had absolutely no interest in helping. All I asked was an extra week to get the deposit together to prevent increasing the debt and having threatening men at my door over the Christmas break! Never encountered such heartless and unhelpful people in all of my life. They’ve not forced me into a 6 month repayment plan I also cannot afford but they don’t care. Their response was simply that if I don’t pay they’ll add on more fees! Most disgusting company possible!

Mr prior ~ a very kind and caring man.

Mr prior came to see me about an existing debt I owed to a bill and went above and beyond continuously to make sure I was able to make affordable monthly payments to clear my debt. What was a stressful and worrying time for me was sorted in a matter of days with his kindness. A credit to the company through and through.

Do not give in if you don’t owe the money. Some advice here. Company is well-known for pursuing wrong person / settled debts.

After several weeks, and escalating matters to a formal complaint citing FCA Rules, I have FINALLY received a refund after being written to about a debt that had nothing to do with me and was for someone else entirely (but this company can’t spell). It should not have taken this level of pushback for me to be refunded.

Please note that the call centre staff are absolutely useless and hopeless. I spoke to several, on multiple calls, and not a SINGLE one showed any evidence they knew what they were doing. They clearly don’t (as other reviews show).

They are a mere buffer so don’t be put off by them. They are unlikely to give correct advice, or to assist over the phone, so please don’t take what they say as gospel.

Make the point to them that you are aware of the rules that apply to debt collection, and you will escalate to a formal complaint if they don’t deal with you properly. You’ll probably get shouted at or told you’re rude depending on the member of staff, but again, don’t give up.

In particular, if you are pursued by this company and you don’t owe the debt (a seemingly common occurrence as they appear to write to any old person with a similar name, and pursue settled accounts), remind them:

1. Rundles are under the obligation to prove the debt. Their letters and internal PDFs are NOT proof. They MUST, if you ask, show you the documentation evidencing the initial debt, addressed in the name and correct address of the debtor. If you’ve already paid a debt that you did owe, send the evidence to them on email (bank statement or receipt showing payment) and insist they acknowledge it.

2. To reiterate, it is THEIR obligation to show that you owe the money, not your obligation to show that you don’t. Pieces of paper that say “Rundles” on aren’t good enough. They are their own internal records. Don’t be fobbed off. Insist that they prove the debt is yours and that they show that notice of it was previously served on you. That means sending you the original loan document or parking ticket, etc. If you don’t owe it, and they can’t show you documentation with your name and address on it (this may happen to you as this company doesn’t check properly, as multiple comments show and it happened to me too, kind of disgraceful to put random members of the public under stress…), advise them that the debt is not yours and any further attempts to assert it will result in a formal complaint unless they can produce evidence. And as above, if you’ve already paid the debt, point this out strongly and refer to your documentary proof.

3. Specifically refer to the FCA Rules on this, which require debt collectors to prove the debt, not you to make your case, and assert that you are prepared to complain to the Financial Ombudsman if they do not fulfil their obligation to prove the debt, or leave you alone / refund you, if you have already paid. You may, if speaking to them on the phone, be assured by Rundles that the person you’re talking to “knows the rules.” If you don’t owe the money, you can tell them politely that they are talking nonsense — Rundles can’t pursue you for debts that aren’t owed by you, especially when they can’t show you owe them. It’s as simple as that.

4. Send an email to Rundles complaints department advising that you are prepared to escalate this, as their staff have not dealt with this properly so far. Mention FCA Rules.

5. You can also contact the local council or other agency that has engaged them directly, to advise that their agents are pursuing the wrong person, and how you consider this reflects on the council / agency’s professionalism and their choice to engage them, especially given Rundles’ poor reputation (see here for example), which even by industry standards is very low.

I can’t emphasise enough how important it is not to get browbeaten by their call centre employees, who are very very low standard indeed. A “supervisor” (he shouldn’t be one) advised me that it “didn’t matter” that the debt wasn’t mine, and that Rundles hadn’t proven it was. And quite impolite he was too.

Needless to say, the “supervisor” (the mind boggles) was 100% wrong and I now have my money back. I’m still considering a complaint to the Ombudsman due to the disgusting and pathetic way the call centre operators dealt with my matter, but the Complaints team finally conceded defeat after I said “FCA” a few times.

They are simply bullies

Please note they write to dead people eve nafter they are advised. They are simply bully boys with people on the end of phones who do not know anything about debt collection. Fight them as they simply do not have the resources to fight all the cases but stand up to bullies!!

I should add you should note they are not bailiffs but just robotic phone operatives probably on a commission. Ignore them they are hopeless.

Tried to contact them to set up…

Tried to contact them to set up repayment, they rejected my offer and said they plan to take my possessions in order to pay the debt regardless of any offers made. Absolute disgraceful. Is this the state of things now is it? Thieves backed up by businesses and “law” time for a reform I think. Revolution anyone?

When your at your lowest

When your at your lowest
Financially
Mentally
Physically
There will always be sharks in the water circling around for blood
You have to be strong and fight off the sharks
If you don't let them bite they can't hurt you
In other words remember this

In England you have nothing to fear from Baliffs
No Baliff has the right to force entry whatsoever regardless what they say
Simply answer through your window and tell them to go away
Or don't answer at all
We all have email phones and post so there is nothing that requires doorstep calling
It's designed to intimidate you and embarrass you that's why they do it
The only Baliff in this country that can force entry is ones collecting criminal fines Income tax and even then it's a last resort and very rare
Council tax is a civil debt between you and the council

Scummy people doing scummy work

They billed me for someone else's debt and when I called up to explain they simply told me that because I've spoken to them they're going to pursue me because the other person is unobtainable. They then sent me two copies of the debt, one addressed to me and the other person ( who I've never lived with or had any association), and a copy addressed just to myself! They've now added so many charges to it that it's getting ridiculous, twll me different amounts over the phone as to what the letters say, and if you call them and aren't willing to pay the full amount straight away they don't want to continue the call and aren't willing to make a realistic compromise. The fact that this company is employed by the council is an absolute embarrassment!
