Buying a house is 100% the most stressful tasks you could possibly set yourself, and me and my wife proved this.

Every sell and / or purchase is going to have the naturals bumps and worries throughout, until that contract is signed.

What is important for me is having someone help ease those worries and ensure you get up-to-date communication and news on the problems. Russell and Butler did exactly that, they have a close knit team of people who are on the ground with you and more than happy to get their hands dirty to make it just that touch easier.

I couldnt recommend them anymore, they wasnt forceful and was more than supportive of EVERY single question / ask I had from them.

I used Russell & Butler, as a first time landlord, for over two years. They were excellent to work with and I would thoroughly recommend them - they organised everything from Gas Certs to new tenants. I had to do very little and I knew I could trust them, which was great!

I stopped using them as my circumstances changed but, if I were to have another rental property, I would definitely use them again.

I have only praise for the service I received from R & B during the recent selling of my late parents’ home. What was a daunting task for me having never been directly involved in selling a property, let alone ones family home, and having to do it without any other family support R & B guided me through the procedure from the initial meeting with Brian to the final correspondence from Tracy. All staff (Brian, Nick, Michelle, Cheryl, Olivia, Alice and Tracey) that I had dealings with were professional and took time to treat you as an individual. Communication was good and I was never left out of the loop. Thank you all and I have no hesitation in recommending R & B to future sellers/buyers.

Even though we were the buyers and not their direct client we found R&B were always on the ball in terms of pushing matters through and keeping us up to date, as well as being accommodating with things such as visiting the property ahead of completion for measuring up, etc. Very impressed!

This has been my first flurry into property renting as forced upon us as need to gain revenue for my mother's future care. The whole experience was straight forward and thus far has worked extremely well. They were able to find a suitable renter in a very short period and all paperwork and transfer of utilities and services was very swift.

We hope that the long term works as well.

Russell and Butler are truly the best when it comes to what one requires from a property agent. They always go beyond their call of duty and give you the most professional advice in how to proceed; may it be as a tenant or landlord. I can honestly say from my experience that they have always had my best interests at heart and that I have been totally satisfied with their professional service.

We recently bought our first house through Russell & Butler and couldn’t be more happy. The service from our first viewing was impeccable. The majority of houses we viewed in Buckingham were through russell & butler as they had the best selection but they were also the most proactive in terms of recommending new properties that would suit us. We had to complete and exchange on the same day which we couldn’t have done without the help of Tracey. We appreciate all Cheryl and Brian’s help throughout and couldn’t recommend them more!

We recently completed on a flat which was being sold by R&B. We have chosen R&B to take care of our rental properties for almost 5 years and have never had a problem whatsoever. Nothing is a problem, just a resolution!
Lisa and her team in rentals are great and continue to maintain a fair and honest approach to both landlords and tenants which we are very happy with.
During the recent purchase we were appointed a lovely lady called Tracey who was our sales coordinator throughout. She was absolutely fantastic, she kept us informed of all stages, gave us a nudge when we needed to act on something, and ultimately made the process run smoothly (although all purchases have bumps!)
On the days running up to completion she was fantastic and I honestly don’t think we would have completed by now had it not been for her.
Thank you very much Rachel, other agents should take note of having somebody in the role you do as it is great for seller and buyer alike!

Russell and Butler recently sold our HMO property in Buckingham, The original valuation was a little high and this did need to reduced which wasted a bit of time.
Once the sale had been agreed the sales coordination managed by Tracey took over, Tracey was professional and very tenacious during what became quite a complicated sale, and although at points we thought it would fall through, Tracey maintained a dialogue between all parties throughout the process and managed to keep the sale on track, Having a dedicated sales coordinator is definitely a plus and for this reason I would highly recommend Russell and Butler as a cut above the other agents in the area..

We had a really good service and care from R&B through the sale of our house. They have a full time sales progressor (Tracey) who makes sure your sale is kept on track throughout. For us this was a complicated chain of nine, and we need her insight, motivation and attention to detail to keep things moving. Also Cheryl is a great sales person - helping us to sell our house but also look for a new one. Compared to all the other agents we worked with she has great intuition for what can work and takes time to get to know you and your families needs.

We purchased our house through R&B with the help of Cheryl. We were highly impressed from day one with her service and professionalism in finding us the right home.
Cheryl went over and above what she had to do, even to the point that on the day on Completion Barclays Bank crashed so funds couldn't be transferred so potentially we would have been homeless over the BH Weekend. Thanks to Cheryl lasing with all the solicitors involved we got our keys at 4pm that day.
As for the rest of the team, we have always been made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Always recommend R&B to our friends & neighbours.

I rented a 1 bedroom property through Russell and Butler with my partner. If we hadn't of had our son then we would of stayed there. They are an excellent estate agents, from start to finish they have all been very helpful. A few names I would like to mention are Stephanie, Rachel, Debbie and Matthew. Efficient and great at communicating with us. Arrange repairs, etc promptly and efficiently.

We have been renting our house out with R & B since August 2018. The management service is very professional and removes all the hard work for the landlord. Any queries we have had have always been answered promptly and any maintenance issues have been dealt with efficiently. We would highly recommend Russell & Butler if you are considering renting out your property.

We have been employing Russell & Butler to deal with the management of our properties in Buckingham for the last six years. We are very pleased at the steps promptly taken to address maintenance issues as they arise; and then feel that they always work hard to reduce void periods between lettings.
