Great service from Khayam
Purchased my second car from MB Guildford. Dealt with Khayam again. Great service from helping to pick up the right car to day of purchase. Khayam was very professional, kept us informed on the progress of delivery and even offered to come in on his day off to complete purchase. Would highly recommend.

Unfriendly and unhelpful customer service
I wish to put on record the very indifferent, and brusque service I received at their Guildford branch.
I had an issue with an airbag indicator light showing the front passenger bag was de-activated.
As I was passing the Guildford branch I thought I would try to have this looked at as a priority safety issue. First the front desk was unattended and I waited for several minutes in full sight of various staff none of whom saw the need to see to speak with me.
When I returned a few minutes the desk was manned and I explained the problem. A few minutes later a mechanic came to see me and after I told him about the problem and gave my vehicle registration number, he said it would be necessary to book an appointment - the earliest being the following week. I asked if he could at least take a look as it may something quite simple that could be fixed straightaway. He refused and his manner was fairly brusque and unhelpful. He went away and returned saying that their system was paying up and told me to phone a number on calling card which he handed to me.
I found the whole experience unpleasant and the attitude of the staff unhelpful and unfriendly.
This is a positive disincentive to replacing my current car with another Mercedes. Their customer service has certainly deteriorated despite the mainly high star rated reviews here and it has left me feeling even more unwelcome and marginalised. Perhaps they prioritise customers with newer more expensive vehicles and may have adopted a fundamentally different approach.

Always attentive and capable. Staff all excellent when it comes to customer care. Service engineers exceptional in their expertise and ability to go that extra mile to get you back on the road. Having used Mercedes agents close to home I can honestly say the distance I travel to use Guildford is worth every mile and time it takes. Highly recommend.

Dirty interior
Saw the approved used Mercedes online so reserved it online. Went along to see and test drive the car and bought it. The salesman was very helpful and easy to talk to. When I picked up the car a week or so later it looked great. However, once I got home to Epsom it was obvious that the car had not been valeted as they were two stains on the roof, a black mark on the upright to the right of the windshield and two more on the sun visor. I managed to remove all the marks an upholstery cleaner, but that’s not the point. Took the edge off the joy of buying the car.
Addendum: it’s now the 4th of August and no-one has contacted me from the garage despite their reply below saying that someone would be in touch.
Update: Had a call back from the sales Manager today, 5th August, with apologies. All sorted and I am now happy.

Trying to buy a car from Sandown…
Trying to buy a car from Sandown Select. Very keen to sell the car but misleading discussions on price (hidden admin fees which were declared late in the process). Purchasing the vehicle as a gift for a family member, was very clear about timing for collection. The dealership/salesman just avoided my calls and emails all day. One of the worst experiences of buying a car I’ve had, and I’ve bought a number of cars over the years!

Great experience from the Sales team at Sandown Mercedes Guildford. Perfect car, perfect sales experience from start to finish co-ordinated by Paul, a sales manager who is interested in the customer experience and making sure you are not only listened to but heard and promises are put into action. Tom who was fantastic and also Harrison, Jack and Lee who were involved at different points. I have no problem recommending this dealership to anyone looking for a Mercedes.
