Thrilled to have come across this business to fix my beloved jacket. I was quite disheartened when I damaged the zipper on my cherished Salomon jacket. Delighted to have found Scottish Mountain Gear, who expertly mended it at an affordable rate. The mailing procedure was straightforward, and Rona’s communication was patient and comforting.

Fabulous. I sent a jacket with a broken zip. It was seam sealed and they emailed back to apologise that they couldn't exactly seam seal it which is understandable. The jacket comes back and it's hard to tell it apart from the other zip, just brilliant, thankyou

It was a sad moment when I ripped the zip on my trusted Salomon jacket. Happy to discover Scottish Mountain Gear who repaired it skillfully for a very reasonable price. Mailing process was simplified. Communication from Rona was patient and reassuring.

A great company to deal with first rate repair to a pair of salopettes returned to back to me well ahead of time . Great price Great service if you need a repair or alterations to ski or out door clothing you will not be disappointed.

I bought an expensive Goretex jacket and after Goretex recommended Scottish Mountain Gear, I sent my jacket up for an alteration. From the first email, they were very helpful, explaining the process all the way. The alteration turned out to be less expensive than quoted and the return postage was just one day. I will happily use and trust this company again as my jacket was altered perfectly. Best wishes to Rona and the team.

Klim use this company for there warranty claims. I sent my jacket and trousers to them costing £75. Klim paid them to clean and apply new waterproofer. 6 weeks later I got them back. The second time of wearing them it rained and the entire outfit leaked like a siv. My mobile phone was in the designated pocket and got wet and had to be replaced. On reporting this to Klim I had to send them back to these mupets. Another 6 weeks later, after having to purchase more winter motorbike clothing, I finally got them back. No guarantee of the quality of work or if they will be waterproof.
This company has destroyed the relationship I had with Klim completely and I have purchased an alternative manufacturer.

Excellent service from them. They replaced a zip in my rather expensive Gore jacket. Fantastic job.
The replacement is far more substantial then the original and I'm sure it will last many years.
Its the zip that should have been used originaly by Gore.

Excellent service. Sent in my battered 15 yr old arc’teryx jacket and came back as good as new. Would highly recommend for all outdoor gear repairs.

Received great service from the initial request for a quote to a speedy repair to my Picture Ski Jacket and its subsequent return. Very professional job. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this company.

What a great company, fixedy ultralight backpack even though the tear was in a difficult place, completed in super quick time and everyone was so nice.

Again Scottish Mountain Gear have been so accommodating, professional as well as absolutely amazing. This is the second time I have used this company, I sent a twenty year old Harkila jacket that had some holes in the lining as well under the sleeves. After an initial hiccup in regards my jacket not being able to be tumble dried, which was handled extremely professionally, they cleaned and reproofed my jacket.

WOW! This company have been so helpful, accommodating, professional & absolutely amazing as they put a new zip in my Musto & repaired a sleeve rip, which i struggled to find after it had been repaired and the jacket was back in no time.

The collar on my Gortex motorcycle jacket had worn through, dropped the jacket off with them midday on Monday, received an email on the Friday with quote, which was very reasonable (I was actually expecting it to be a bit more). I accepted the quote on the Friday and received my jacket posted back to me the following Wednesday, packaged very well. The repair is excellent quality and would have no hesitation in using Scottish Mountain Gear again. Communications with them is also very good. Thank you

This company provides a great repair service with a fast turnaround time. Their workmanship is excellent. As the designated repair facility for Musto they have repaired my much loved and very old sailing kit to an exceptional standard and for free. I would recommend them to anyone.

My daughter’s Musto jacket from her Uni sailing days has been beautifully re-zipped, giving it a new lease of life. Excellent service, good communications.

This company received my Musto Jacket that I had broken the zip on.They informed me that repair would be free of charge for said jacket.They also repaired the lining of hood that had worn Fantastic work Kept me informed of repairs being done.Work quickly done They also held jacket back till I came back from holiday before posting back to me

Dear Scottish Mountain Gear Team,
I've received my cleaned 8848 down jacket back from you and there are a few things of note:
1/. How on earth you managed to bring this old jacket (that I love) back from a filthy flattened state to an almost new state is truly fantastic.
2/. Your team were helpful and went beyond the norm, the washing instructions stated no tumble dry, so initially you could not help, but after I wrote that I was happy for you to 'give it a go' and 'whatever the outcome, I'd be happy', you really did do an amazing job, I am ecstatic to have it back, but more-so that someone (to whatever the outcome) was willing to 'give it their best.
3/. I would recommend you all, thank you
