Great experience.
Upon entering the shop, we were greeted and made to feel welcome. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, we were encouraged to try the sofas out for comfort etc.
Once we had decided on which one was right for us, the process was simple and took around 5-10 minutes to set up the finance agreement.
Now just awaiting delivery, overall, a great experience.

I recently visited Poltronesofà at ScS on 19 April to purchase a sofa for our home, and I wanted to share what was genuinely an outstanding customer experience.
From the moment we walked in, Connor welcomed us warmly and took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for. I particularly value clarity, patience, and attention to detail—and Connor demonstrated all three exceptionally well. He walked us through the available models with great knowledge, without ever making the process feel overwhelming or rushed.
Once we explained our requirements and how we intended to use the sofa, Connor thoughtfully narrowed down the options to two models that perfectly aligned with our needs. One of these turned out to be exactly what we were looking for, and we’re absolutely delighted with the choice.
What truly stood out was Connor’s patience and genuine willingness to help. He guided us through every detail, answered all our questions thoroughly, and ensured we were confident in our decision. He also helped us arrange a delivery date that worked conveniently for us, which was much appreciated.

Good quality and choice
Were met a we entered the store at Cleveland Retail Park, Middlesbriugh by Barbara who explained the different labels and that the furniture is modular and different options then she let us just wander - periodically checking we were ok. Ask for a price in a three seater and a chair and she explained the full cost, finance options and did not apply any pressure! Myself and my friend, who had not even wanted to go and wasn't actually looking for a sofa, both ended up buying sofas. Quality and choice of colour was fantastic. Staff were very attentive but not in your face. Lovely experience.

I had just walked in the shop and I was approached by a number of staff I felt overwhelmed and couldn't enjoy my look around they just wouldn't leave me alone I felt like I had to buy .luckily I did find the sofa I liked put a deposit down and pay the rest a few days later and get a delivery date and he even asked me to put it all on a credit card which I have never had in my life.I loved my purchase but not the experience .

The worst customer service I have ever experienced
Recently complained about the dreadful after sales service re a missing Care Kit. The only way I got a response was by complaining through this site…so the only thing SCS are interested in is avoiding negative reviews.
After two months complaining about the missing item I receive a text today saying it will be delivered tomorrow - no discussion regarding whether or not it’s convenient (as ut happens it isn’t as I am not at home tomorrow (8 April)
Replied to the text but no indication as to whether it’s been read or not. Tried ringing customer services - that’s a joke…it would be easier navigating the Straits of Hormuz in the current conflict.
So SCS - if you do attempt to deliver my missing Care Kit on 8 April you will have a wasted journey. Perhaps it would be wise to check with your customer first before just deciding on a date.
As I said in my previous review - AVOID AVOID AVOID

Delivered earlier than expected but within the time slot advised, 2 nice lads brought our new sofa and chair in and assembled them ( recliners) and tested them, respectful of property and very sociable lads

Paid ins to cover dye transfer but refused to sort it out said i should not sit on settee or chair with dark clothes don't put dark cushions or throws on it and wanted to know how many hours a day I sit on chair or settee never heard anything like it in my life scs is a joke

Good experience from original purchase discussions to delivery. Suite arrived a week or so early which we were able to accomodate.

Had sofa just about a year and 2 of the seats are collapsing. Contacted extra insurer and not covered. Went to store and told is covered but have to email to get warrenty claim. Went through process and told sofa not been looked after as per photos therefore not covered. The sofa is immaculate and well looked after. Challenged warranty department and had not one call or email back. Absolutely disgusting service and lack of cover on a product you can’t sit on. Will not and would not advise anyone buys anything from them. Happy to take your money £4000 well spent-RUBBISH.
