Delivery people was great but they was told there was no stairs so the sofa was built befir Delivery. I told the person at the shop when I ordered the sofa we was second floor maisonette so they had to take it apart in the van and re assemble

Purchased sofa from Watford store staff were very helpful . Delivery arrived on time in spite of road closure which was difficult for the driver and assistant to navigate around country roads. They unpacked and set up the sofa they were very pleasant and took care to dispose of all the packaging in responsible manner.

Bea was excellent and very helpful. She helped me to find sofas suitable for my space. She guided me to a really great deal with a matching pair of floor models that were heavily discounted, which matched a style that I was looking for. She was professional and very expedient in taking details, booking delivery and organising payment. Delivery was excellent, I was contacted in suitable time before they planned to arrive. Delivery guys were careful and ensured the sofas were where I wanted them.

Overall good experience, staff in the store were great, sofa is high quality and has arrived undamaged. Delivery team were excellent.

The only frustration was the delivery delay, it arrived almost 4 weeks later than the original estimate of 12 weeks.

Delivery arrived on time and I could track the driver online. Rich and Dean delivered my furniture with care and were very friendly. They moved the large vehicle quickly so my neighbour could get out of the road. They also got my dog back in after she escaped through the gate! 5 star service from beginning to end.

The sales team in Watford were patient and gave great service to my elderly mother. However, we were told we could agree a delivery date when the items arrived st the distribution centre - this was not the case, we were given a date that was not suitable so I phoned the shop on Sunday 29th June, where I spoke to a young man who was less than helpful. I tried to explain that we would need the alter the date and all I got back was a repeated "depends if they deliver to your area on that day". Eventually he agreed to call the distribution centre on Monday. I'm pretty sure this was not done. I tried phoning the store during the week as the delivery date loomed nearer and despite calling several times all I got was the message that no-one was available and to leave a message to get a callback. Guess what, no callback!
So in order that someone was with my mother when the furniture arrived, I had to take the morning off work, travel almost 2 hours in early morning traffic to get to her house to accept the delivery.
We were notified of a delivery window which was great and the delivery men, Aaron and Shaun arrived on time and were excellent, they are a real credit to the company. If I was just rating the delivery it would be 5 stars, the sales team who sold the items would also get 5 stars, but the lack of interest and communication from the store regarding delivery dates would be 1 star.

Very disappointing. Bad service. We have informed at the time of ordering about narrow hallway and we're assured that it will come as flat pack and will assembled in correct room.

Sofa arrived fully built and delivery guys couldn't take it in the correct room. Left in the hallway blocking stairs and utility room and told us to contact store. To take it back and redelivery will cost another £120.

Tried to contact on customer care number, no response even after 40 mins. Selected the option of call back however; no call received. After repeated attempts when managed to speak customer care agent, she didn't want to speak to me or register my issues as order was placed under my spouse’s name.

Unfortunately store is closed. So went to another nearby store.

The team there got us in touch with 3rd party who will come and dismental and rebuilt sofa in current room for £ 150. Staff in this store has informed that it should not void warrenty. I hope they are not lying.

To me it seems like a fraud and misselling.

I had a fantastic experience shopping at ScS in Watford. Bea greeting me when I walked in and helped me find exactly what I wanted. Bea took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered recommendations without being pushy. The quality of the furniture is exceptional. So happy with my purchase.

Fantastic service and great guidance by the floor manager Bea. She was very patient and made sure she understood our requirements. We were shown a range of options. I would definitely recommend SCS to anyone looking for a great sofa and a pleasant customer service
