This is five start Rated company. Staff is very professional and reply on time and respond within 24 hour. This agency work very professionally and all the team is very competent.

Never been forced to leave a negative review about anyone, but this company has left me no choice but to warn others. They will cheat you out of money if given the chance through empty promises, lying, and being unavailable. After being messed about and constantly trying to chase them up to see our contract, we were told they had everything they needed from us including our deposit of £775. We waited from April, to 1st May - then suddenly a tenant was occupying our room and wouldn’t leave until May 15th LATEST. After May 15th we were told ‘not sure how this has happened but the room is no longer available’ and we wouldn’t be getting our deposit back because they never received it in the first place. When asking for landlord details and PRS you will be ignored. They have no remorse for students being cheated out of £775 left with nowhere to go after night shifts, missing out on work, travelling from London to sign a contract and then being turned away because their ‘WiFi was down’ even though they had our phone numbers and never let us know. They will never initiate contact, you will be forced to chase them up and be met with inconclusive answers such as ‘it’s all up in the air right now’. Completely unprofessional and have caused tears, trust issues and a burden on our parents. This has affected more than just the couple you scammed. Please do not trust! We didn’t get a choice of being put with SDM as our information was transferred over to them without our permission or knowledge as they ‘took over’. It was the worst possible thing to happen to us. They have used a facade of ‘it’s all a big mix up’ and saying there’s nothing they can do about our situation as they ‘don’t have our money’. Even if that was true, they have done NOTHING to support us, investigate where our £775 is, get in contact with us or help in the slightest. Names of those involved in lying, ignoring, giving misleading information and leading us into an almost-depressive situation : Mark, Kelly, Shay. If anyone is considering going with this company, please get in contact with me and I can provide receipts of the service we received. We came down to their office twice, called and messaged them multiple times and were never shown a contract to this day. This is not a spiteful review, it is from a place of helplessness of the situation they have left us in. I urge for anyone that may know how to help to reach out to me. I am not a negative person and it feels horrible to write this review but I’m genuinely lost moving forward and have been ignored, lost so much money, and am now missing £775 needed to find somewhere else to live near my work. I can hardly even see my partner anymore. This situation was devastating to us and they simply do not care! :( please everyone stay away.

I have been living at my flat for almost 3 years now.Mark is an excellent landlord. The flat was always clean and he send cleaners to clean it regularly. I'm sad that I'm now going to a different city ,hence me moving out.Mark is a great landlord and thank you for making my life easier. I'm very grateful indeed.

Good company service strongly recommend

My daughter just attended a viewing of an SDM property. I went with her thankfully as the room she was shown was not the one in the picture and totally squalid. The facilities were non existent and the whole description totally misleading.

Trusted and good people

I’m frustrated and disappointed with this company’s unprofessionalism. I booked three viewings, but the agents never showed up or answered my calls. Each time, I was misled about the property’s availability and never informed it was already taken.

Very poor customer service service , took money from you and then keep changing dates last minute , very disappointed and unprofessional customer service.

Very dodgy Landord they take money off people with tenancy move about 3-4 people per room and turn blind eyes to drug selling they break tenancy agreements when have one and also scam the councils for extra money never do repairs on any house that takes benefits so they can use the money to fix workers houses they lie to tenants about what is said and break data protection please for your safety and sanity stay away from them

Unable to talk to anyone but the reception staff through the whole process! Placed a holding fee down whilst references being made which took 1 hour for references to be completed and 14 working days for a decision to be made! Terms and conditions state the holding fee will remove the property from the market which it did not and it will only be non refundable if ‘said’ tenant decides not to take property not if the landlord decides not to accept you! Have been ignoring my emails to return my holding fee for last 2 week! The holding fee was more than the 1 week rent amount advertised. Will now be taking them to a claims court to return my money!

I am staying in this property for past two months, people who manages the property are good, helpfull and are ready to hear your problems and solve it as soon as they can. Overall am very happy for staying in this property

They have a lot of options to choose from which at the end you be happy.

A great place to find accommodation for a student or working singles or couples, very well organised and 24/7 available to help fixing any issues in the house great value for money safe and healthy accommodation, but as one of a tenet I advice all the tenets also should maintain hygiene and try to be clean and shouldn’t trouble other tenets
And I’m staying in one of SDM’s house since more than a year and I will stay here 4 more year, I suggest 100% SDM to anyone
