Friendly but no actual attention to enquiry

We purchased a charger from Segwayfun for our son's segway, but it didn't work. We understand from reading around that this occasionally happens. We offered them the model number and asked if they had any advice, and they were very friendly, asking us to send videos of the segway trying to charge. They then asked us to return the segway for repair.....While caring they had not even bothered to check what we ordered and read what was a simple enquiry about a small purchase.

Be very wary of this company they will…

Be very wary of this company they will happily take your money and just send whatever they have. Started with a whole host of issues over delivery, then thankfully the product did arrive before Xmas. However I had paid for a all terrain hover board with off road kart. I was sent a basic kart with no suspension as detailed in the product I purchased. First they apologised but said it was an off road kart, clearly by the picture on the item and the one I received it wasn’t. Then when raising a dispute through PayPal they tried to fob me off by saying they had upgraded the hover board. Well thank you if you did, but I didn’t request that. All I wanted was the product I purchased. They did offer a full refund if I sent the whole thing back, but as my son had played with the board already as it was his Xmas present, it wasn’t in any state to send back as new. If the company would have simply offered a refund or exchange to the kart I originally purchased then you would have been looking at a 5 star review and not a 1star. It seems customer service is not there strong point. So I’ve decided to buy my son a proper kart from another company who have been fantastic. Think real hard before you use this company

I never asked for any upgrade. I wanted what I originally paid for, Had you sorted this properly you would have had a 5* review. But instead refused to resolve the problem Ended up ordered the correct kart from uk sedgway. £75 out of pocket, but at least they have sorted me out

As advised in endless emails to you. My son had used the hoverboard on Xmas day, had endless enjoyment, 3 days later when you replied, advising of the so called upgraded board it had been used, some scratches from usage, and dirty from playing outside. I’m sure you would have refunded me for a used scratched hoverboard??hmm . All I wanted replacing was the kart that was incorrectly sent. Maybe the day you called me to apologise for the late delivery you could have said. Mr Norris I’m sorry we don’t have the suspension kart in stock, but as a gesture of goodwill we have upgraded your hoverboard instead. At least I could have then made a decision. You just assumed I would be happy with a basic kart and an upgraded board which I did not ask for.

Like we previously told you , return the whole product for a refund. You refused stating you wanted to keep the upgraded hoverboard as such we cannot issue a partial difference. The hoverboard alone is more than the bundle price you paid!


Unfortunately as previously stated we cannot allow you keep the hoverboard / £100 upgraded hoverboard while you returned the kart given your purchased a bundle. We are happy to issue a refund if everything is returned .

Dissapointed

Dissapointed , incorrect product sent with no notification. Ordered a black Segway a blue one arrived ... ordered an off road cart with suspension and a basic cart was delivered. Have sent 2 emails to sort something out but no response. I understand that the company were trying to fill orders prior to Xmas - product ordered start of dec so plenty of time to provide customers with honest updates. Still awaiting response to my email . Order number 12638.

Segwayfun

Received next day (and ordered in December) - online ordering easy and products were clearly advertised. Safety helmet and gear of good quality too. 12 year old son having a lot of fun on hover board - easy to charge and the battery lasts a decent amount of time. Only down side is the carrying bag is a real struggle and given this is a heavy item, a more robust bag would be expected.

Over month late from expected delivery…

Over month late from expected delivery date. On website. (Poor rating)
Had to call numerously after 2 weeks they say it's out of stock but to wait for them to receive delivery then no stock... I'm very understanding but Had to call every day to Chase up without answer on the phone kept saying I was going to call as we pre ordered this for you it's not arrived wait another week ect...I had to trust there word.
They also sent wrong colour and I'm not wasting any more time on the phone to be Palmed with returns or month for replacement 🤷‍♀️
Overal happy with product used for 3 days no issues. Can't work or How to get music to play via Bluetooth. Read loads of articles but still none the wiser on the gymoor app how to function this ?

Delayed delivery

I had issues with the delivery date which kept being delayed and it was difficult to get through to them before Christmas. It was resolved In the end and everything was delivered but it was very stressful. I had to contact them after Christmas and had a bit of an issue getting through but once I spoke to someone the issue was resolved and a replacement sent with next day delivery.

I ordered the GYROOR hoverboard and was…

I ordered the GYROOR hoverboard and was anxious that it wouldn’t arrive before Xmas, but i was delighted to receive an email from DPD advising that my parcel was to be delivered the next day
The next day came and no parcel so when I contacted Segwayfun they told me it was no longer in stock
Very confusing ???
Anyway they said they will send me the new better item the next day and we’ll I didn’t hold my breath and thought I was going to have a fight to get my money back
Well it did arrive to my surprise and relief and my boy loves it
All’s well that ends well but still very confused to what happened to my original order
Maybe Mulder and Scully could only answer that

Bit of a strange one

Bit of a strange one, never before have I felt so undermined by a company. Paid for my pre order and got a promised delivery date, date came and went, rang the company for an update and was told it would be in the post the next day. The next delivery date came and went, still no hoverboard. I rang the company again yesterday not to be told they didn’t have any stock of what I ordered and should never have been told a delivery was on the way. I was offered an upgrade in replacement no extra charge (which is good I will admit) I was told the new one would be black in colour same as the one I originally ordered. Great. The hoverboard came and it was white. White.
Now, the actual product seems good, but with it being 2 days before Xmas what was I going to do? Send it back and not give my son a gift? No.
The company took advantage of the situation, kept my money and just sent me something they could find on their shelves hoping I wouldn’t spoil my sons Xmas by sending it back and getting a refund.

What happened to good old honesty. I hate being lied to.
I rang and asked to make a complaint to the manager, was told manager would ring me back, guess what, still waiting for that phone call.

If there were troubles with stock then why not just tell me that, why pretend you had it and even send me a despatch note with a DPD tracking code which never existed.

How can companies get away with this.

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service, false promises, and dishonesty from the beginning. Very unimpressed and would not recommend.

Kart hoverboard

Great product, my son loves his kart hoverboard. But delivery took longer then it should. Should of been next day, it took 2 weeks, 2 days before Christmas Day. I didn’t need the stress waiting right up till then, weather my son was gonna get it or not.

Product is of excellent quality

Product is of excellent quality.the girl koola was excellent to deal with and couldn’t thank her enough.the problem I had was I ordered on 2nd of December and was meant to be dispatched 11th then 16th and 21st.after phoning to see where order was I was told I was to receive a blue one.I ordered black for my little girls Christmas.if I hadn’t phoned constantly to find out where my order was I would have had whatever they sent.I take it there was a lot of unhappy little girls at xmas with blue Segway.to be fair koola managed to upgrade me and as I said qualit is excellent.night and day compared to argos etc.

Mixed messages about delivery dates and…

Mixed messages about delivery dates and times given from staff at Swegway and courier but, in fairness, it arrived only a couple of days later than they said it would. Still in time for Christmas. Parcel was battered and held together by alot of tape. Instructions were damp and pages stuck together (I can live with that) but the plug is absolutely not a uk plug. It's a two pin (not sure from where globally) with a dirt cheap plastic adapter which makes a near silent buzz and crackle when charging. Will be raising this with them when I'm back at work next week and only left this review as they emailed asking me to leave one. All of the above aside, the off-road hummer Hoverboard (by the way it's actually made by a company called Gyooro, who aren't mentioned on the product page, but that's a side issue!) Is decent. My son loves it and I've taken to borrowing it to go for a spin round the park. Runs reasonably well on grass, even when a bit muddy but I'll eat my hat if it runs on sand as alleged! In summary, a Good product tainted by a poor customer

I preoredered a hoverboard as an Xmas…

I preoredered a hoverboard as an Xmas present on the 10th Dec for guaranteed delivery before Xmas on the 18th. When no hoverboard arrived it led to a few emails with the company that were always politely and promptly replied to with assurances it would arrive on the 22nd. After reading some of the reviews on the company I was a little nervous it would not arrive. I am glad to say they honoured their word and it arrived in perfect condition on the 22nd and I had a very happy daughter Xmas morning!
