Outstanding customer service with great advice and prices. I have brought my current and 4 previous cars here for tyres and brakes. Can't rate these guys highly enough. I won't take my car anywhere else.

I received what I asked for at the agreed (and by my estimation, competitive) price. Service was quick and I didn't need to book in either, just show up. Was offered free advice & checking for additonal extras but with no pressure, representatives were readily available to talk to me both prior to and during the process.

Recommended Selecta Tyre by a family member, and I was really impressed with the service. Dropped my car off with no prior booking, and the staff were able to fit me in straight away and fit 2 new tyres. There was no hassle or pressure, and the mechanic provided me with advice free of charge.

Had some pads and discs fitted that I provided, good service but my locking wheel nut is no where to be seen?! Rang up (oh it’s not here) well clearly it is as I have not seen it since they did the work. I was not told where the nut had been placed when they had finished. So now if I have a flat or need other work doing like today gone to get my callipers painted, can’t find the wheel nut anywhere so can’t get wheels off. An offer of a replacement would have prevented this review.

Went to Eskdaill Street for a new battery. Bobby checked first to see that the alternator was ok, it was, so a new battery was fitted while I did a bit of shopping. I was treated politely and cheerfully. I have used them in the past and will certainly go there again in the future.

Went in for 4 new tyres and they were not in stock. Bobby arranged for them to be delivered that afternoon as I needed same day service due to work commitments. Excellent service and went out of their way to help the customer. All tyres fitted in good time and saves me taking time out from a busy schedule.

Went in when it opened after my car started making weird sounds. Was identified and fixed by lunch and was kept well informed at all times. They did their best to keep costs reasonable, especially given the current prices of materials!

Selectatyre Buxton got us out of a hole after picking up a large screw in my tyre…addressed my issue straight away and quickly managed to repair the tyre, minimum fuss, maximum customer service…nice bunch of lads

Popped into Eskdaill Street Branch on the off chance thinking had a slow puncture, spot on service by Bob and the other mechanics there who were able to look at my car straight away and resolve without unnecessary costs ! Highly recommend and will definitely go back in the future A***

Have used Selecta Tyres at Ripley and for many years and been pleased with the service. So much so that I used their Tyre Hotel service to change summer and winter tyres around as appropriate. Just rang to arrange the change over to winter and been informed that they are no longer Selecta Tyre but are now Protyre and will no longer operate the tyre hotel. They will change over just this once to my winter tyres but I will have to take away my summer tyres as they will no longer have a tyre hotel system. In essence I have wasted the cost of having the extra tyres. How many people have the storage ability to house a set of four tyres? Protyre should be ashamed at such shoddy customer service. No communication of this decision to its inherited Selecta Tyre customers. I feel for the ex-Selecta Staff

1/12/22 After discussion with Protyre manager my tyre hotel arrangement with the excellent Ripley Selecta Tyres is reinstated to my satisfaction

Eskdaill St garage fitted 2 new tyres for me with no problems, unlike the shocking service from Kwikfit up the road

Went in with slow puncture. Lee discovered it was a damaged sensing valve and managed to replace the stem part. Massive thanks for a friendly, skilful and incredible value repair.

Amazing service, came in last minute for a tyre check and they sorted me out efficiently.
Would definitely recommend, received a lovely service from the members of staff and the prices were affordable.
10/10 experience & ill be back.

Kettering (Eskdaill St)
Absolutely terrible service, do not use this garage. Under qualified technicians that haven’t got a clue what they are doing. Booked in for tyre change to find out they have replaced the wrong size passenger front tyre. When questioned, I demanded to see the tyre they had replaced.. they brought me out a tyre that didn’t come off my vehicle, completely different brand, as I asked prior to booking in like for like tyres which they had checked using my vehicle registration,…. Deceitful and Rubbish!!!!

Four new tyres fitted without fuss at the Kettering (Eskdiall Rd) branch.
They operate a 'first come first serve' system which was clearly stated when I ordered the tyres. Got there just before 0830 am, away in under an hour...

Selecta Tyre Ashbourne gave great service on a Sunday. Polite, professional, quick and helpful. Would use again.

Amazing customer service by Paul and his team at Montagu Street, Kettering. Despite very busy, service with a smile. Hope Paul gets 3 wages because he was doing 3 jobs whilst I waited on a 2hr job, literally running from car to reception customer enquiries to answer phone. Staff were busy too. Been there before always busy staff. If employer read this, please get more staff to help. Reward the loyal ones, do not expect them to work like machines. Helps to retain staff for longer and feel that they are treated with respect.

They fitted the wrong size tyre to the front passenger side, so only three out of four were the right size, guess what - it failed its MOT ! To top it off, they charged me to fix there error.
