Pre-arranged for two tyres to be replaced at the New Mills branch and took advantage of their free Wheel Balance & Tracking offer at the same time, knowing full well that these offers often find something. Nevertheless, I suspected the work needed doing beforehand. Arrived at 1100am, and was seen straight away. After a short while I was advised of a small imbalance and a fairly significant tracking issue. Both were fixed on the spot for less than £75 (I drive a 4x4), which I considered good value. The tyres were replaced and pressures also topped up as they observed I was running a little soft. Driving away, the difference in the vehicle was marked, and clear evidence I needed the work done. Chaps were friendly at all times and there was no hard sell - just a factual appraisal of their findings. Will definitely use them again.

Charged me for something that I didn’t request or need. When I complained was told I would be contacted by a director of the company. Never happened. Awful customer service.

Oh and only matched a lower price I got on line and then when they added the extra charge for nitrogen filled tyres it was actually more.

The lads were nice.. but appt was for 10am.. and it took 2 hours... Because they had to answer the phone.. won't go again as 2hours is terrible.

Took my car to Selectatyre Belper today and was so impressed with the excellent customer service and friendliness of the staff there. Had a puncture repaired for a very reasonable price and very happy, a lot of tyre firms would have just put a new tyre on. Recommended

I was very impressed with Selectatyre Macclesfield. I was expecting to have to pay £175 for a new tyre that they had ordered in after I picked up a bolt in my tyre but they fixed it on the spot and only charged me £21. A lot wouldn’t have been so honest. Would def recommend

Spent weekend putting on new tie rods, ball joints and BOOTS for its MOT
Take it to selecta tyre to be tracked, got home checked, the pictures say the rest, another new boot required. Told to return 10 miles away to fit new boot.
Got home again, had a look and 1 of the boots came away from steering rack to large, badly secured. Fitted it back PROPERLY myself. Moral of the story, if you want it done right DON'T go to Macclesfield branch.

These guys were mega helpful life savers! Yesterday morning I had an emergency call from my son to ask if I could help his girlfriend with a flat tyre.
When I got to their house I tried to remove the locking wheel bolt on the offending wheel and as it was so tight it ended up snapping off the lock mechanism leaving just a bare stud!
Fortunately I had a can of tyre weld so at least was able to inflate it enough for us to go a few miles into Rugby town centre where we first tried Formula One tyres who apologised but said they couldn’t help although they suggested we try Selecta which we duly did!
They couldn’t have been more helpful and with some good old fashioned British bodgery managed to bash a socket onto the stud and remove it.
They replaced the tyre and we were really surprised by the value for money.
They were thoroughly nice people with a great attitude and great value for money and I would thoroughly recommend them!

Very poor service from the right side of ashbourne depot. Poorly trained young lads. Did not fit brake pads properly. I have children, so you could imagine my upset, with brakes being fitted inadequately. Gave me price for oil and filter, then when I came to pay, they nearly doubled that price! Hooked it up and did work to the car that I didn’t ask for and tried charging me! Owner couldn’t care less, doesnt seem bothered that staff are useless, (right depot) Management seem to prefer to pay Little wages to youngsters with no knowledge Than a little more for experience staff.if you have to take your car here,use the depot on the left for your own safety and piece of mind. I have an open complaint currently, yet no response!

Visited Selecta Tyre in Rugby today, having been to Kwikfit first where I was appalled by the attitude of the manager. Selecta Tyre was a very refreshing change, helpful staff, pleasant attitude and they got the job done even though they were short staffed. Thank you. Kwikfit could certainly learn a thing or two from you!

The tread was going on two of my tyres so got quotes from 3 or 4 different garages in the Ripley area, Selecta Tyre offered me the best price.
I didn't have to wait long for them to be fitted and the service was flawless.

I would definitely recommend.

Beware of this company. I was quoted £134 per tyre plus valves plus nitro = £140 which is the price quoted on their website. Was then charged VAT which was not mentioned when I ordered the tyre. When I complained I was told they had to go a special supplier (this was a common Michelin Cross Contact tyre and was not an urgent purchase). Kwik Fit do the same tyre at £140 fully fitted.

Always had good service from Selecta, realistic prices and kept up to date with repairs/jobs.

Went to get tyres changed.
Had been charged for alignment and nitrogen without being asked if I wanted either. Only realised after looking having done a contactless payment.

Best avoided.
