DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!! SCAM!!!!!!
I sent my brand new iPhone 16 to them, they tried to offer me £150 after telling me I would get £550? They do not answer their phone, the robot chat online cuts you off straight away so the only way you can contact them is via email, this is just as useless as they take days to respond, it’s been a few weeks now that I’ve been asking for my device to be returned to me, I really wish I had read their reviews before sending my device to them. I will now be taking this further with legal action as there is no way they should be getting away with this!

You won't get the price they offer.

Can't stress this enough - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - we were offered a good price for a phone which was in mint condition - it had been in a cover with screen protector since new - but when it was received by SellSmartForCash, they claimed the device was scratched and not described accurately, and tried to deduct 40% from their offer price.

We contested the claim and they agreed to return the item at a cost of £7 - way over market rates. We are now waiting for the device to be returned. Absolute joke, you will not get the price they claim but will get a lot of hassle and additional cost.

RIP Off / Con Merchants

If it was possible id give them no stars, sent two phones both in good order, then told they had scratches on and revised offer down. Decided to accept there offer rather than pursue getting devices back, now they wont pay me or respond to any messages.

Sent them a fully working phone. Over two weeks later, they emailed saying it was beyond economic repair.
No reply to email.
A TOTAL SCAM.

AVOID

Company is a con, makes up damage on phone so can offer lower price. Had phone over a week before any contact. Does not respond to messages and the phone is a premium rate number.

I sent them my iPhone 7 plus over a month ago, when they were trading under the name ALPHARECYCLE; they made up damage to reduce their offer by £100.
I paid the £6.99 return fee over two weeks ago... nothing.
Their premium rate phone number is never answered, and now gives out the name SellSmartForCash, and no reply to emails. These companies are obviously connected. No idea if this is a scam or just really, really bad customer service but I still don't have my phone, they are uncontactable and no idea if I will ever get it back...I think my next stop is ActionFraud.

Scam company that give false devaluations

Sent my phone to this company. I heard nothing for 2 weeks then received an email stating that the phone had multiple scratches on the face and casing 'beyond normal wear and tear' and thus dropped the offer by £100. The phone was in pristine condition and had been kept in a case for the duration of ownership.
I responded accordingly and again heard nothing for 2 weeks. Offer was upped by £20 or told to send £6.99 to have the phone returned to me. I have notified Trading Standards of this company, but in the end I accepted their offer, given the costs to get the phone back, send it to another company, especially as I presume they would have also deliberately defaced the phone to support their claims. These are rip-off merchants who should not be used.

Terrible company DO NOT USE

Terrible company, say they pay the next day, had to chase them after a week - they claimed my phone was damaged & took £150 off the price. HOWEVER I took photos which are dated on the day I posted out which show the damage they say isn't actually there. Ive requested my phone back & recommend no one uses this company as they are scammers X

Reduced the price when they got the phone. Said the phone had scratches so reduced it by £50 - it was practically brand new. Want money to return the phone. Money was not in bank until 2 weeks after they had received the phone. Go with another company!

This company are appalling

This company are appalling
I got a generic email saying scratched screen, scuffs on the body etc even though the phone has been in a protective case since new and was even sent in it to them

My offer went from £55 to £65 and after numerous emails with similar generic emails back it went to £75, not the £91 advertised. I eventually accepted the offer as it was £6.99 to return it, but the caveat being that I have reported them to Trading Standards for false advertising and I have asked them also to check and see how many customers got the full amount advertised. I would not advise using this company ever!

WARNING! DONT USE THIS COMPANY

WARNING! DONT USE THIS COMPANY. I received the same sort of email everyone else has about a blurry screen, dents & scratches. The phone has been in a case since the day it came out of the box and still had its original factory protective stickers on the back and sides. The screen had a tempered glass protector on from day one as well which was spotless. The phone was fully functioning and in Excellent state of repair like new. Not a single mark on it. My offer went from £91 to £10. I even had to pay £6.99 to get it back. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. I have informed Trading standards about them.
