CON CON CON they quote your phone then once received they make up all sorts of reasons as to why ithey will only pay you a 1/3 of what they originally offered! Then demand you pay £6.99 return postage!!! Had my phone check by a tech friend of mine so know for a fact the phone is fine
Reported to the ombudsmen. STEER CLEAR.

A bunch of crooks!

A con!

They offered the largest amount fit my phone, even though it was stipulated as broken - this was just a software problem on a high-end phone; the parts could / should have been useable.

After they received it, the messaged me to say they couldn't do anything with the phone as it was broken - no way, even though that was what was declared! - but that they would be happy to dispose of it for me (yeah, I'm bet they would) OR i could pay £6.99 to have it returned.

Don't go near these crooked!

Security concerns, and an absolute joke of a company.

Company had the highest quote by a few pounds, so opted to go with them. I factory reset the phone, and sent it off.
A few days after arrival i received an email asking for my gmail account login that had used the phone. I was told the account was still attached, and they needed the login to remove it.
I checked my devices on the gmail accounts i'd used on the phone, and compromise. They could do it from my computer, via teamviewer or any similar tool of their choice.
I got an email back repeating that they need my login, or i can send them £7 to get the phone back. Failing that they would keep the phone.
Nowhere in their terms does it say they will require any gmail logins for android devices, and to me, this is a security concern.

Absolutely disgusting company READ!

Absolutely disgusting company!

Promise same day payout of handset, I am still waiting a week later.

I sent in an IPhone 7+ they quoted £346. I have Waited a few days as received the handset on Tuesday and by Friday I had no communication. I had contacted them and they stated the handset has scratchers to the outside and also to the screen. I refused this offer, they then came back with £320 I refused again and stated I want the full amount. I did some investigating and the T&C’s state that wear and tear are acceptable, this falls under that bracket. I told them that if I don’t get the full price I am taking them to trading standards as they are providing false information to customers.

They had agreed and payment would be made that day. It has now come to Monday and I am still WAITING. I had called them again and they have confirmed they need more proof of I.D as full driving license is not acceptable. But this is what they asked for. I have provided a copy of my passport and I have given them a dead line of 2 hours for this payment to be in my bank or they will be reported to the police and trading standards for theft and false information!

Hope this helps lab DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!

Read the reviews here they are real and true!!

Read the reviews here they are real and true!!

Probably the worst company for any sort of exchange. iPhone 7 i had won in a competition, they offered £300 for it (£20 more than any one of there competitors) I thought great!!

I should of taken the blow and took the £20 less.

-No communication.
-They advertise as soon as the receive your product they will send you the payment. I wasnt expecting that but even if it was two days after i wouldnt mind. A WHOLE WEEK of chasing I had to do.
- Dont get me wrong if you hassle them everyday of your busy life you will eventually get your money.

At the end of the day, use Music Magpie.. even if they are sometimes cheaper. They communicate all the time, and always know whats going on with your device.

Never use this company

Never use this company, they will claim the phone is scratched and offer you a considerably lower price than first offered or ask you to pay £7 to return the phone. If you ask for the return how do you know they won't scratch it and say that was how it was. Offered my £211 initially, said it was scratched and offered £160. Always argue with them as I managed to get £180 but then had to wait days for payment and send numerous emails.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I was quoted £90 for my FAULTY phone!! I had an email asking me to remove my iCloud account.. then received the email saying they could offer me no money as the phone was dead?
I have full evidence they accessed the “Dead” phone as they logged on.
They want to recycle it for free to be safe for the environment?? No they are going to sell it. The phone was in perfect condition brand new with slight water damage! I’ve been offered from Mazumba £70 for the phone being fully water damaged and not functioning!! This company was planning to sell on my phone!

They are now making excuses to return my phone! I know this is because it’s fukky working! They have fixed it to sell on! Do not use this company for anything!!!! Ignore the higher value.. it’s a SCAM!!!!

Do not be tempted by the high offer. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

So I went with this company because it offered me the highest amount for my galaxy S6 (£137). My phone was received the next day after posting and I received an email confirming this with an account login so I could check the progress of my order. My phone was received at 10am so I thought I would receive payment at the end of the day. This did not happen, neither did I receive an offer of payment. Basically a condensed version of the hellish 10 days went something along the lines of this... no contact from them for days at a time and when they did it was very much a cut and paste job from the previous emails. Being offered £100 for my phone that was in near perfect condition (it had been in a case from when I purchased it) because of slight scruff marks, no evidence provided of this when I asked for it. Finally getting a revised offer for £120 which I accepted as this was how much I could receive from other companies. After accepting the offer, received another cut and paste email telling me they had revised my offer. The final glimmer of hope of being paid on time squashed after 3 days from me accepting the revised offer. Finally received payment on the 10th day. My ordeal might be short compared to others but it was still incredibly stressful. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and if you do fall into the same trap of the lure of the highest offer like I did, do not wait to get in touch with them, use the email address and don't bother with the costly 0871 number and email them EVERY day, do not let up, do not accept the inevitable low first offer and keep at them! I doubt that if I did not email them every day that my ordeal would still be going on to this day. I wish anyone using this company the best of luck because you're going to need it!

PLEASE READ!!!!!

If you are waiting for payment from these people threaten them with trading standards and police action, yesterday (27/2) my phone went from processing to today being paid out. I used trading standards and police action then received an email within the hour. Throughout the day I received 4 more messages as every email I sent via my account I followed that up on the website form. I personally also set deadlines and if they weren’t met I’d take action and use the reviews from this website to back my case, I know it’s a joke of a company but fight back and get horrible

AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wish i had checked reviews before i sent my phone to this company.
quoted £67, same day payment.
They received my phone at least i was informed of that.
After a week, no response from them, i had to contact them and i was told that phone was totally damaged beyond repair and they offered me a favor to recycle it for me.
Absolutely scam!!!!!!!!!1
Phone was in very good working order, no sctraches at all kept in case all time and still had screen protector on.
Now they are asking me to pay them to get my phone back.
I am going to claim through court, should be reporting to fraud team as well.
Horrible experience!
Do yourself a favor avoid them and keep your peace of mind.

Do you want to get ripped off?

Did as everyone warned they would, received phone mysterious scratches appear and devalue phone from 120 to 80. Found website through search engine so trusted it ( my mistake). Only when they had told me that they'd received the phone and hadn't paid on same day and didn't contact me for 4 days did I google name. And then found out what was going to happen to me, bit of advice go with music magpie or other famous sites and lose a tenner. Better than losing a third of real price or losing phone completely!!!

These Never offer what is promised, I sent them a brand new phone after waiting a week they said it was scratched and offered a lower amount
the only way it could have been scratched was by them, they are under investigation as there are hundreds of complaints please contact Trading standards to add your voice, but best of all Avoid these modern day scum bags .

***Avoid Avoid Avoid***

As a person who has never felt the need to review anything prior to my experience with this company this should speak volumes about HOW BAD THIS COMPANY IS to deal with!

They have had my Iphone5S since 02.02.18 and still have not paid me for it. Originally quoted £69 (if I recall correctly) - revised offer of £35 came 14.02.18 (after me chasing several times - don't bother trying to call by the way as they will never answer the phone!) .

Again, like others I was advised that the reduced offer was down to the condition (which was not true) and it would cost £6.99 to have the phone returned so I reluctantly agreed to accept the offer on the SAME DAY and I am STILL WAITING for the money!

I have tried to call yet again and also send another email this morning and NO RESPONSE!

I will be taking this further because as far as I am concerned it would appear that this company has committed the crime of theft by deception I have no phone and no money and I cant get any response from them!
