AVOID!!!
I sent them my iPhone 6S last December, was in perfect condition. I received an email to say it was scratched and had water damage. I requested to have my handset returned, after paying £6.99 it took ages for communication to come through, I tried calling and emailing them with no response. A week later they email me to say it was sent and gave me a tracking number. My package never turned up. It was signed for as delivered in my name but I was miles away at work. I’ve had nothing but problems with this company. I requested proof of posting so I can claim from Royal Mail to find they posted it normal 1st class that only covers up to the value of £50. They then email me a screen shot of myself and 10 other customers name and addresses as proof of postage. Total disregard for data protection! Avoid this company as 3 months on I’m still battling with them.
Sent my wife’s iPhone 5s in perfect…Terrible service and dishonest people!!!
Sent my wife’s iPhone 5s in perfect working order 8th Jan 18 and its now 19th Feb!
There were no scratches or damage as the phone had always been in a case.
Been chasing them since but they rarely answer or reply to calls!
First they maintained the phone had not arrived then they had lost it then it had arrived damaged. Had to give them the inside code then it was suddenly found but they offered only £15 after the original £61 when sent.
This is still ongoing as I cannot contact them or get replies to messages. Will now escalate legally.
Won't get fooled again
Won't get fooled again - DO NOT GO NEAR THIS OUTFIT
Like many here, I failed to check ratings first - big mistake.
I too was offered £58 - I sent a perfectly working phone I had been using for a year.
They came back saying "Damaged beyond repair" and offered £20.
Add insult to injury, at time of writing, after 14 days since they made the offer - NO PAYMENT.

UPDATE:
1. PREPARE TO HAVE YOUR ORIGINAL OFFER REDUCED BY A MINIMUM OF 1/3+
2. ALWAYS CONTACT THEM VIA YOUR ACCOUNT SET-UP ON THEIR SYSTEM SO IT'S LOGGED OTHERWISE YOU WON'T GET A REPLY!!
3. DON'T ACCEPT THEIR INITIAL OFFER, THEY WILL INCREASE IT.
4. IT TAKES A WEEK TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE FROM THEM SO JUST KEEP BADGERING THEM.
5. ONCE APPROVED FOR PAYMENT, YOU STILL NEED TO CHASE FOR IT; AGAIN ANOTHER WEEK BUT MONEY ARRIVES IN 48 HOURS.
GOOD LUCK, I EVENTUALLY GOT MY MONEY AFTER A MONTH OF STRESS AND WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!!
Total rip off!! Wish I had seen these reviews before I sent my phone.
Reduced my initial offer by over a third after I had to chase them after a week of having my mobile.
I was told my phone had some scratches and scuffs, this seems to be their common response to everyone!!!
I'm still awaiting a reply to my emails and have given them a deadline before I take this matter further as technically they've not upheld any of their promises, payment the same day, customer satisfaction.
STEER CLEAR!!!!!
Abominable
Wish I had read the reviews before getting involved with this terrible ‘company’.
Sent them my I-phone 8+, brand new.
5 days later, still no cash. Nobody ever answers the phone, calls you back or responds to e-mails.
‘Same day cash’ and ‘100% customer satisfaction’ is just nonsense.
It looks like they have stolen my phone and am now reporting them to the police.
Avoid. Go with a reputable firm as this lot are just abominable. 1 star because I couldn’t rate any less to post a review.

Sent phone to them in December and not …
Sent phone to them in December and not heard back despite calling and emailing numerous times. They have my phone and I have I am still waiting for correspondence. Ridiculous. Will never use them again!
CON ARTISTS - DO NOT USE
Sent in Iphone 6s 128gb in A1 condition advised it was scratched (which it wasn't) so revised offer by £23, which I accepted then no payment or response to emails & calls always going to voicemail. Had to threaten legal action to get my money.
Sister companies to also keep away from are:
MobileRepairs4U
Alpha Smartphones
DO NOT USE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES EVEN IF ONLINE QUOTE IS HIGHER THEN ANYONE ELSE
Omg don’t use this company
Omg don’t use this company
Sent phone off was offered £324 could not get hold of anyone after I sent phone despite them advertising same day payment
They finally came back and offered £220 as there was slight scratches 🤔
I told them send phone back and they came back with a revised offer which was still taking less than was offered
The phone was working fine and was 18 months old ( what do you expect)
Totally misleading and think the business is run by one man from his bedroom
Had to pay £6.99 to get my own phone back plus postage for initially sending the phone to them
Absolute shocking can’t believe i fell for it
AVOID THEM
I feel conned
I feel conned. I sent my iPhone 5S to sellsmartforcash in perfect condition in its original box, I was quoted a price of £52. However when I posted it freepost, I was told that the phone was in poor condition with scratches on the screen and dents (this is patently untrue) and was told I would only be offered £25. I have accepted this because I don't want to send them £6.99 to have the phone returned. I really advised against using this company, they are con artists.
I had to give one star to post the …
I had to give one star to post the review. Please do not send anything to this company The quote I got to sent my phone to them was £9.00 higher than anywhere else so foolishly I sent it. They have since come back to say it is damaged and offered me £20. That is £20 lower than anyone else and wanted £6.99 to return it. NOW saying they have not received it at all What are you supposed to do now I wonder !!!!
Daylight robbery!
I sent an iPad and an iPhone to this company. I received the lowest rate for the phone but they told me the iPad was unrepairable and they would recycle it for free or I was welcome to pay them £6.99 postage for it to be returned to me. I emailed several times saying I wanted the iPad returned and I’m still yet to receive a reply! Be wary, they hold the the cards once they have your device and can obviously just steal it, like they have mine!!
A1 service
Very easy to deal with got money in bank easy would deal with again and also reccomend
After getting an online valuation of …
After getting an online valuation of £46 for my htc one m8, I sent the phone using their prepaid envelope, all good. I then received an email to say they had received the phone, and that the technicians were checking the phone, all good so far. After not hearing anything after a week, I emailed them to ask what the problem was. I was informed that, upon inspection, the phone had above normal wear and tear, and was re-valued at £20..........really.... the phone was protected from day one, and I do not abuse my phone, at all.I declined the offer, and asked for the phone to be returned. I then received a 'gesture of good will' offer and they increased the offer to £25. I declined, and again asked for the phone to be returned. I eventually received and email, asking for £6.99 to cover p&p. I duly paid this, as I had now decided I would sooner give it away, than get ripped off. I paid, and heard nothing for a week. I then emailed them to say if I didn't hear from them within 24hrs, I would be reporting the phone, to the police, as stolen. Now, within my dead line, I received an offer of £40, plus a refund of my £6.99 p&p. I accepted this offer, and the payment was made into my account, within the day, as promised. Personally, I'm very disappointed in this company, as they really did try it on, and it took a lot of effort to get somewhere near the original estimate, so if you want a seamless transaction, I would avoid this company, very poor................
Finally paid after 2 months
After 2 months of phone calls and promised call backs I finally got paid. They reduced the quoted amount due to damage, which is fine, but how comes to takes so long. Especially after they advertise to be the fastest paying company.
Personally I wouldn't use them again because i can't afford to pay for the excessive phone calls you have to make to chase your money.
I SUED THEM AND WON! I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO DO THE SAME!
We pay the same day- No you don't! The value was reduced by over 20% due to excessive wear and tear. The phone was immaculate having only been used in a case and had a glass screen protector on constantly. I have the evidence of the condition when it was sent. They had no intention of ever paying their initial offer, read all the feedback! I had to pay them to get them to return the phone which I then sold to Music Magpie who happily paid the full initial offer!
They reported my initial feedback due to certain words used which I have now removed. In their comments they maintain that the phones are not always received in good working order. Why then did another provider happily pay in full? There is no legitimate reason for avoiding the guaranteed price and this practice should stop. They rely on charging £7 to send it back and hope that most wont bother and accept the lower offer.
Update: I issued a small claims court summons through moneyclaim.gov.uk for the cost of postage both ways, the shortfall in value from their original offer, to the amount I finally received elsewhere and the £25 court fees. They failed to contest the claim so a judgement was issued. This finally got their attention and to avoid a CCJ, they have paid me in full!!
Don't go anywhere near this company
Sent them a great condition phone which had been protected since new with a military grade cover. I had been offered £115 from CPW who said the phone was like new.
I sent the phone to this company as they were offering £133.
However, on receipt, they claimed that the screen and back cover were scratched "beyond normal wear and tear" and offered me £33 less than the price initially quoted. I requested photographic evidence but this was not forthcoming.
I eventually settled on £110 as I had already paid £6 to send the phone and the company wanted another £6.99 to send it back if I wasn't happy with the offer price. So I decided to cut my losses.
I've used different recycle companies in the past with no problems as my phones are always will maintained.
Other reviews seem to have had similar issues.
Strangely enough, they have since dropped the top price for this phone on their web site to the price I eventually received.
I could not honestly recommend this company to anyone.
sent in iPhone 7 Plus 250GB advert £460 …
sent in iPhone 7 Plus 250GB advert £460 the found a dent and scratches yet phone not left the house and was in case knocked the price down to £360 lost £100 they wanted a picture of my driving licence which I sent then nothing 3days later I have phoned 2 times on a 0871 number went to answer machine no-replay tried messenger no reply after 3 e-mails still nothing wonder if this company is still in business have I just lost £360
Absolutely awful but got my money in the end
I was offered 50% of the original quote. I asked for more details of why which i never got, just a slightly higher offer. I pushed back and asked for a phone call to explain why they would not pay what was quoted. Again I was just offered a little bit more again. I then told them I was going to get a CCJ and low and behold: I got a phone call and they transferred me the correct amount the same day. So much hassle though! I would never, ever use this company again and unless you have time to waste, do not bother using them.
DO NOT use this company
DO NOT use this company. They are fraudsters. They still have my phone and still haven't paid be when received it 13 days ago. No contact, won't reply to emails. How can a company like this exist? I'm so angry
