The process of making the book was FUN and EASY to adapt to a story about a child with two mummies .... easy to upload photos and change the text to exactly suit the circumstances ... Such a great concept, incredibly easy to use and completely editable. My 2 year old daughter now has her very own story, full of photos presented in a professional way that she can keep forever. The book I received from Sensitive Matters is everything I’d hoped for and more. It’s well made, thoughtfully written, and beautifully illustrated. It puts a huge smile on my son’s face and as soon as it’s over he wants to read it again. We couldn’t love it more!

After ten years of trying for a baby, we finally got our miracle in 2020, via a surrogate. After thoroughly researching personalised books to explain the journey to our baby girl, I found Sensitive Matters. It was the only website I found that felt right. It gave us everything we could have hoped for - quick, easy process, specific to our unusual situation and was dealt with delicate care and love. We are delighted with the final result, which made us cry when we first saw it! We are already reading it to our baby. What a beautiful way to explain how she came to be. A must have for every non traditional parent :)

'The Memory Book'

This is a well presented book with an attractive cover.

The reader is drawn into the narrative of the book with photos on every page illustrating the authors life story. A story that started with a life that wasn't expected to live and continues through many challenging times. What shines through the pages of this personal account is the importance of 'family' at times of tragedy as well as at times of great happiness.

Great product, excellent service.

This is a company that really cares about what they are trying to do. If you use them, they will go out of their way to make sure the product represents the message you are trying to send.

I have received a copy of my friend’s book. What a great idea to preserve your memories for future generations. The text is well laid out with relevant photographs interspersed amongst the pages which are of good quality paper and the finish of the hardback book is excellent. I understand Clare and Sali will give you all the help you need when putting words and pictures together. I would recommend Sensitive Matters to anyone who wants to write their memoirs, whether short or long. Get writing!

Book of Memories
This is a lovely idea and beautifully produced. A great way to preserve memories. I loved seeing some of the old photographs. Would make a very thoughtful present for family or close friends. Highly recommended.

The concept of people writing about their experiences for future generations of their families is great and being able to put those experiences with photos into hard cover book form is outstanding. The book is great. The page size, the quality of the paper used, the clarity of the photographs, the print size and the page layouts were amazing. I would have liked to see the pages numbered for easy reference. Other than that a great idea with a great product excellently produced and delivered. The very best of luck to those producing this great product.

My book arrived quickly and was nicely packaged. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the title on the front cover is confusing and I think, incorrectly punctuated. The read was very enjoyable and was written with compassion and humor. I loved the American/English comparisons, and it brought back many of my own fond memories. I will refer to it again and continue to enjoy the photos.

I took a bit of persuading to do this as it takes a fair amount of effort but I am so glad that I did and I know that my children and grandchildren will be pleased too, as it is really for them.
The Book arrived promptly and was excellently produced. The quality of the paper, cover, binding and packaging is first class. Compared with other photo book services, it was also very good value and I am certainly tempted to order additional copies.
What I particularly liked about the Company was that Sali and Clare were always on hand to advise me on how to make the best of my book when putting it together. I was recalling memories from fifty years ago and the photos that I had were not of the best quality. Clare gave me lots of tips as to how I could improve them and also helped me with the lay out. I suspect that as business grows they cannot do that for everyone, but as someone in their 70th year, their help was enormously appreciated. I do advise that people spend a little time looking at the Help videos before embarking on the project. I didn’t and it took me a while to get the hang of some of the features.
Writing down ones memories and hunting down old photos is not something that can be rushed. You do get an enormous sense of achievement though when it all comes together. Old photos get damaged and lost and nowadays they are swallowed up by the computer – never to be found again! Spending time to get them put into a hardcover book is highly worthwhile and really feels like leaving something for posterity.
I would now like to do a book for each decade…but I shall enjoy this one first! Thanks to all who were involved.

The Memory book arrived promptly and was well packaged. The product is substantial and of superior quality befitting a book which may be handed down the generations. The photographic quality is excellent and the text attractive and easy to read.

It is the sort of book which every family should encourage their parent to write and I only wish my Mother was alive to do one. It would make a unique Christmas gift for family members.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for our Magic of You book. My daughter has chosen it as her bedtime story for the past two nights. Not only has it given her a better understanding of her complex conception, pregnancy and then birth, but it has really helped me grieve for the baby we lost and to talk to her about it. It has really been a bit of therapy for me. We have decided to have family members add memories of my daughter’s first few weeks on the blank pages at the back. It will be lovely to have everyone feelings to share with her.
