Flexibility while at uni + earn enough for this to be my main job

Not only have I managed to get a new car TWICE with the money I earned through the 3 years I have worked with SL but I have also always had the flexibility to enjoy life and study AND STILL earn enough for this to be my only job. If you communicate and express what you want to you area manager and listen to their advice, youll never ever have a problem with the audits. I absolutely love that we always get to see auditors that get nominated/awarded for their best work as "auditors of the month/quater/year". No matter what, your hard work will always be noticed.

Not worth the hassle

Took a while to get added to the system to do audits, when I got an audit which was for Uber eats it wanted you to order alcohol drink, the cheapest was £2.60 but you can only claim back £2 on that item, you can order other items up to £15 but you then Have to pay tax on this as it’s seen as a benefit in kind, which makes no sense it your ordering things for work that you should be down any money. The pay rate is £5 which isn’t worth the hassle after filling out Paperwork for expenses to be paid back.
Pub audits also not easy to do in 10 mins especially if you don’t want to be seen taking photos and gathering info so need more time, again after travelling and no compensation for wear and risk on your car not worth it.
If you do a audit in a supermarket you think yes you can keep the items and claim the cost back just remember you will also be taxed on top of that as goods are seen as a benefit in kind

Amazing Company

Having worked for ServeLegal since I was 18, I have nothing but great things to say about them.
The work is flexible so able to fit it around work and study, Area Managers are really supportive and always a phone call away.

The benefits of the role are great too and plenty of opportunity to progress within the business! The company puts on social events for auditors so we get to meet one and other!

It’s an amazing role and I would encourage anyone to apply

A really well run company. Get the important training that is needed before beginning audits. A variety of audits to do and all have incentives to them. Nice side hustle or even can do it full time if you have the time. Managers are really helpful and i throughly enjoy some of the audits. Would recommend

Flexible Work - Great Area Managers

The area managers are very approachable and responsive and there is regularly work available if you are happy to travel. Communication is excellent and the internal team are always happy to help when they're working.

Work can be booked in to fit around your lifestyle and there are opportunities to earn small bonuses etc.

There is a large variety of work from supermarkets, to tanning salons, racecourses, betting shops and pubs.

The only negative of the role is likely to be the fact that you are taxed on items purchased as they are seen as benefits in kind. This means that you will use your personal allowance faster and then be paying tax on the amount you are reimbursed for items that may not be of any benefit to you such as cigarettes, ecig products etc.

Overall, I enjoy working for ServeLegal and find I can incorporate it into my lifestyle well.

Good job to have

It’s an easy enough job to earn an extra few quid by auditing shops or even delivery drivers. It takes a few minutes to finish an audit and another few to fill out the report.

Team at Serve Legal are incredibly…

Team at Serve Legal are incredibly friendly and answer any questions in a supportive and friendly way because they once were auditors too. As well as getting any alcohol or other items paid for, you acquire a bonus for doing the audit too. The best audits are the just eat ones or other delivery ones where you literally can stay in your house. Definitely a great way to top up my money and has built my confidence.

Easy way to make money as a student

As a student, sometimes finding time for a job can be tricky. Serve Legal offers an easy way to make a small income on the side of your studies.

It’s very flexible and you can pick up work when you have free time by contacting your area manager (this is the person who assigns you your audits and who offers you support and guidance).

I’m a student who attends uni outside of my home town, but this does not affect my work with this company. Instead, when I am home, I am able to contact the area manager of my home location and pick up work during my half terms.

It’s also a great way to boost your confidence. I’ve personally recommended it to a few of my uni friends.

Great organisation to work for

Great organisation to work for, really really friendly managers. I’ve loved my time there so far and it has taken me to places in England I’d never have expected to be going to. Very glad I became an auditor, and I would definitely recommend it to others - Gabriel H

Serve Legal offers brilliant part time…

Serve Legal offers brilliant part time work. I only joined recently and I have already completed several audits, which shows there are lots of audits offered. I have had positive experiences with all the staff, who are very supportive and answered any questions I had about the jobs. I would recommend this to anyone who is a university student or has a part time job, who wants to earn some extra cash, whilst also being able to keep the items bought, such as alcohol or grocery items.

100% would recommend working here to everyone!

I have been working as a Serve Legal auditor for around 8 months now, I wish i started sooner!
The extra money is of course a huge pro about working as an auditor, it has allowed me to treat myself and book holidays I wouldn’t have been able to afford otherwise, as a uni student.
The money is not the only pro, working as an auditor is extremely flexible - I am undertaking a degree apprenticeship in which I am in university and working for a company, Serve Legal couldn’t be more flexible with my schedule. I can work when I want, for however long I want too. My area manager Lewis is really understanding about my schedule.
It’s really rewarding to complete deadlines and explore your local area, whilst earning a good pay check each month.
I love working for Serve Legal, and would recommend working here to everyone!

My experience of working for serve legal!

I have worked for serve legal since April 2024, I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute working for the company. I’m an 18 year old full time student, so having a flexible job is very important to me. I have earned a very good income each month and get incredible support from my area manager and other employees. I enjoy working, and get so many freebies ei alcohol, which is great for my student lifestyle. I couldn’t see myself doing any other job and I encourage students my age to apply. Not only does the company provide excellent communication and support with my work, but also holds work events (paid for) which I think is so refreshing for a company.-Alexia

Mainly easy and quick

Most the audits are easy and quick to complete, with benefits for doing them other than cash (food, alcohol etc.)
Sometimes the brief can be a little confusing and the report sometimes not making sense.
One time I was sent at 11pm to correct an audit that I did which was a bit annoying. I was then sent an unnecessary form to fill out as “punishment” which I did not complete as it was pointless.

The best part about working with Serve legal is flexibility

The best part about working with Serve Legal is definitely the flexibility of the work so can work more or less a week depending on what I want, and that I can arrange work around my social life. Also, support around finding help and advice is great and all the members of staff are friendly and helpful.
