The booking was handled brilliantly the…

The booking was handled brilliantly the holiday itself was fantastic, micheal whom was our driver was lovely and polite and helpful.
My along with others was the fact we were 10hr each way on a transfer bus with no leg room or working toilet, we had to use the services when we had half hour to 45 mins break. Not an actual shearings bus that have leg room as advertised.

The Wander. Dreadful hotel

Dreadful hotel. Tiny single room although I had paid extra £129 single supplement. My friend got a double room for the extra £129. 3 Ornaments glued to table. Metal sink with gaping plughole (no plug). Shower door didn't fit so got out to huge puddle of water. Dinner not included but restaurant wasn't open during our stay. Miles from anywhere had to get a sandwich at Lidl.
Refused breakfast on last day given a packed lunch instead. No porterage. Booking messed up.
Long drive to get to Amsterdam and Keukenhof.

4 stars to the driver Dave

4 stars to the driver Dave, who was very friendly, caring and personable and seemed to think of everyone. This made for a lovely relaxing and cohesive trip. Good clear and helpful instructions around the drop off sight seeing opportunities and about the hotel. The hotel, although good, was quite a journey from central London, which was maybe too time consuming on this short trip

Great Company

This is the first time we have been with Shearings and we are made up with the professional way it was all handled. Richard and Flad were our driver and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer pair. The hotel in Italy was top class and we loved the food, it was worth the long journey. Some of the trips out were very long days, mainly due to driving restrictions on getting out of Como.

This trip was great fun

My trip to Devon, Cornwall and the Eden Project was great fun, and I am very glad I took it. Apart from a few last minute changes ( which could have been more clearly explained and also emailed to us) I felt well looked after. The food was efficiently delivered and great, and the hotel was good, clean, and the staff very welcoming . Excursions were good too.
The swimming pool changing area needs better maintenance ( a door lock fell out) and I had a loose floorboard in my room, but these were minor issues.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Weymouth and…

I thoroughly enjoyed my Weymouth and Delightful Dorset holiday in every way possible. The only recommendation I would make is that on any visit to Bournemouth mention is made of the Russel Cotes Museum and Art Gallery which is not too far from the drop off point with the coach. There is a free guided tour of one hour starting at 11am on the day I visited which is well worthwhile but optional also.

Great tour guide and driver

Great tour guide and driver, really made the trip fun! Hotel was beautiful but a long way from anything, so difficult to find somewhere else to eat other than the hotel. We were Well looked after on trips to Keukenhof and Amsterdam. Downside was not knowing the itinerary far enough in advance to be able to book tickets for other attractions in Amsterdam. Personally I would also have found it useful to have tips for where to eat on the ferry that's gluten free - by the time we boarded it was almost impossible due to the crowds. Ferry staff were not helpful in that respect! Overall great staff with Shearings who went out of their way to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Planning another trip already.

Prompt pick up

Prompt pick up. Nice hotel. Driver very good. Buffet evening meal had lots of options. Food was always hot. Hotel staff polite and knowledgeable about the area. Have rebooked for 2027!

Liverpool triphad a trip to Liverpool with…

I had a trip to Liverpool with shearings a week ago.
It was very good from start to finish, are driver Geoff was very good and it had a good laugh with him. Are day's out where very good aswell would do it again and the hotel and food etc was great.
Would do it again in a heartbeat well done to very one.....

My family and I had an enjoyable…

My family and I had an enjoyable holiday in the Isle of Man. The transfer driver who took us to and from our pickup point was very good, the coach driver for the tour was also very good. It was disappointing when we got back to Skelton Lake services to be told the wrong time for our transfer back to our drop off point. We had to wait a long time at the services because nobody had told the transfer driver that the other passengers she was waiting for had made their own way home!

The Hotel and the food served was…

The Hotel and the food served was atrocious. On the last day, they even ran out of desserts. Rooms were less than basic.
The best part of the holiday, was our main driver...he was excellent and made each excursion fun. Very helpful.

Well our Easter trip to Amsterdam was a…

Well our Easter trip to Amsterdam was a disaster ! The hotel chosen by shearings was the hotel Wander, don’t go there ! They absolutely refused to open their restaurant for us on 3 occasions… not good, so we were left without dinner for two evenings, although it wasn’t included in our trip, we made a point of asking the shearings rep if we would be able to use the restaurant and we were told yes, absolutely no problem ! Well we missed two dinners and breakfast on our last morning, as they refused to open the restaurant for us, and another group who were staying there also. Also didn’t clean our room for the 4 days. So on our return we decided to cancel our second trip we had booked, only to be told that we would have to pay £300 which was the original deposit, but we took a special offer on the deposit so only had to pay £2, but on cancelling they increased the deposit to £300. All because shearings didn’t research their hotels enough. So read the small print.!

Hotel Norbreck Scarborough.

Day trips were good but the hotel was below par. The radiator in the room was constantly on. The window was mouldy. The mattress was too hard. The waiting staff were rude.

Went with Shearings/Leger many times…

Went with Shearings/Leger many times but not since 2018 until Feb 9th.
We had done 5 world cruises but wanted to return to more up close tours
Absolutely excellent as was the previous6 tours.
Smooth,comfortable,easy, friendly etc.
Our tour directors were Sara and Nigle....abfab.
Well....we have booked another 5 tours so....I guess that speaks for itself.
If you can find something to complain about....you have done well.

It was a perfect holiday

It was a perfect holiday. Everyday provided wonderful memories. The drivers Jordan and Josh did fantastic. Josh even had to go into a multi story coach park. He did superb. They really helped to make the trip perfect.
