Claimed for ppi last August still no payout

Claimed for ppi last August got a letter beginning of November saying I would hear from them in 4 weeks . Received another letter saying sorry for delay would hear in 4 weeks phoned them in December to be told that it was with calculation department would hear in 4 weeks . January another letter again to be told 2 week wait. Still nothing phoned on 10 th February to be told that I should have received a letter saying my claim has been upheld and awaiting calculation . Fed up now of being fobbed off no way should this have taken so long

Cheque received today from Shop direct

My letter was dated the 13/11/19 informing me my claim had been upheld so I would receive a payment in 21 days ha ha !!!! and today 13 weeks later I have just received the cheque. So it was worth the wait. Hope everyone doesn’t wait to long

Ppi payout DELAY

Our complaint was lodged in July 2019. I called yesterday to be told, yet again, that the calculation hadn't even been made yet and to call in March!
They have told me to call each following month since November.

Apparently bank isn't sending any out !
Quick to take it of you but dont want to give it you back,

Waiting since 2nd Dec on 3 cheques regarding PPI Payouts. I contacted the company in Dec and was told it would be 4weeks, rang back in Jan and was told it would be 8weeks. Contacted them again in Feb and was told it would take upto 12weeks...disgusting 🤢. All the time I recieving letters from Fast Track demanding their payment from me.. To which I'm still waiting... This company has no thought for anyone and holding back and telling gob stories over the phone..

They owe me money and wont pay - awful company!!!

I would give no stars if possible.

I have a service guarantee policy for a washing machine. After being unable to repair or replace, I was due a refund for £499. Since 16 Dec I have been waiting for my cheque. Apparently, its been sent 3 times! The say they’ve sent it and I have to wait 15 working days - then it doesn’t turn up - its just a way of fobbing me off and a stalling tactic. The staff are unhelpful and rude and apparently only head office can deal with this, but I’m not allowed to speak to them given they issuing the cheque. I am going round in circles, with no end in sight. I just want my money!!!

Finally received... apparently sent again on 3 Feb ... but, of course, the postcode said different... I want compensation now for the stress and inconvenience!

Shop Direct should honour upheld PPI claims and pay what I'm owed

This company do not even deserve 1 star. Fobbed off again and told to call back in another week. Now waited 12 weeks for my cheque. Same story waiting for an update from the finance department. Finance department need to get their act together and provide people with the honest truth as they must have a plan as to when these cheques will be sent. Customer service is an absolute disgrace.
Again I say if people refused to pay Shop Direct what they owe I'm sure it would be a different story.
Do the right thing Shop Direct and pay what you owe as if you hadn't mis sold PPI to so many people you would not have a back log. I have been out of pocket as a result for far too long and continued delay in paying out is completely unacceptable.

Absolutely disgraceful!!!! I had 2 cheques from September, Littlewoods & Very. They lost the spreadsheet my Littlewoods cheque request was on and had to wait until December for that one, 12 weeks and then I was told when I chased the Very cheque in November that they had not even requested the Very cheque in September when they should have done and had to request it again in November. I called just after Christmas to check all was on track and I was told 2 weeks. I called after 2 weeks to be told that they hadn't even processed November's yet but to give it 2 weeks. I have called so many times to be told 2 weeks. I called last Friday to check and was told that their finance department had updated them and said no November cheques processed yet. I gave it a week and called today to be told AGAIN that finanace did not have an update and could not advise if November had been started and to call again in 2 weeks. What on earth are their finance team doing!!! I will be complaining to the ombudsman. This is absurd.

Shop direct ppi claims

Shop direct ppi claims. Like others on this site, I received my letter on 19th November. I have phoned numerous times chasing up payments only to be fobbed off. On one occasion I was told it was my fault as I should have claimed earlier!. Manager call backs get nowhere either. Phoned on 10th Jan to be told all cheques up to 1st November had been sent. Phoned earlier this week and no updates were available. Phoned again today to be told no payments for November had been processed. There was a delay, no reason for delay given. Asked to wait a bit longer, but with no timescale available. I suspect it's because Shop Direct were rebranded as Very on 13th January. So will Very be honouring the ppi claims against shop direct? I suggest you dont hold your breath on that one. Have lodged a complaint with Ombudsman today.

UPDATE: phoned them again today (10/2/20) and all cheques up to 28/11/19 are supposed to be sent out some time this week . We will see.

Update 2 (13/2/20) cheque received today. So it really was in the post!! Shame there wasn't anything added to compensate for the time I have waited and the numerous phone calls I have made chasing it

I lodged my complaint July 2019. Told today complaint upheld awaiting calculation. Should hear something in March but all complaints have to be completed by Summer (end Summer I think).
Appalling, especially in view of what I spend with them.

Well like you all waiting for my ppi refunds ..shop direct is a nightmare to deal with .....Promised call backs from managers and never recieved.. lies after lies from incompetent advisors every advisor tells you different advise ... I have even email CEO 4 weeks ago with no reply surprise surprise....They are not interested and just fob you off ..4 hours I have been on the phone this morning apparently the systems was down some advisors went into my account and other advisors said they could not excess accounts ..Obviously a small team of advisor all sitting together .....I was mocked at and laughed at by other advisors in the back ground and the advisor on the phone twisting my words and being very arrogant.. I have been promised a callback this afternoon from a manager but not holding my breath I have been waiting for this call back for over 1 week .This company is a disgrace.

UPDATE - I finally received my cheque this morning!
I'm in the same boat! Received my letter on 25th November stating that I would receive my cheque within 21 days, I have called several times and to be told to call again in 2 weeks time and then to be told the same 2 weeks later..... this does not seem right 🤔 I don't know how and if I can take this further??

I would have given0 stars if i could had offer letter on 14th of november was told would get cheques in 21 days then i rang in the new year was told cheques will take three weeks as they had just started novembers cheques only to get told today they didnt know what was happening as they havent got an update as to when i will be receiving these cheques so basically they are very incompetent in what they say as its rubbish so still none the wiser and still waiting how can a cheque take this long to sort out in this age of technology not happy at all

I received a letter on 21st November…

I received a letter on 21st November about my refund and it said i would receive it in 21days. Rang them near Christmas and was told they had a back log so waiting list was 10 weeks. Rang them yesterday and was told told no cheques have been released yet. Rang today and was told it could be a few more weeks yet until they hear anything. What a joke!

I also had a letter on the 13th of November saying it will take up to 21 days for the cheque to come after 21 days came and went I phoned up they said if it as not come in 8 weeks to phone up , phoned again they said 2 to 3 weeks phoned again the same answer and they not sent any cheques out for over a week always seems to be a man answers cant hear out in back ground like they just hired him to say the same thing over and over this is a joke how they are lieing week in and out I just dont believe anything they are saying now what a disgrace of a company update phoned monday they sending my cheque been sent and all cheques for November been sent out received mine on 15/2/2020

Can't give a zero,what a nightmare,has anybody had shop direct saying the 2 cheques I never received have actually been cashed even though this ppi claim was done on my deceased mums behalf and they actually saying they sent the cheques in my mum's name,said they've done a cheque trace to a bank where she hasn't got an account as she died 6 years ago,wouldn't this be impossible to cash at a bank???Now shop direct are telling me I have to report this as fraud to the police,shop direct are being so unhelpful,feel if I wasn't chasing this up they basically not bothered.....it's so frustrating...any advice out there I'm really fed up and don't know what next I can do,thought police wouldn't really be able to do anything.this was june 2019 and still unsolved now.....

Shop direct ppi cheques

Just spoken to shop direct about my 4 ppi claims received my letters on the 5/11/19 this will be the 5th time I have rung them got the same answer as last time my cheques are still in the finance department waiting to be sent that is the same as 3 weeks ago anybody else had cheques for November yet.
Just spoken to shop direct 13/2/20 it's been 14 wks and noticed people have there cheques don't know what's happen to my cheques hopefully on there way
Update no cheques today for me 14/2/20
UPDATE received all 4 cheques today 15/2/20
