Shop direct ppi cheques
Just spoken to shop direct about my 4 ppi claims received my letters on the 5/11/19 this will be the 5th time I have rung them got the same answer as last time my cheques are still in the finance department waiting to be sent that is the same as 3 weeks ago anybody else had cheques for November yet.
Just spoken to shop direct 13/2/20 it's been 14 wks and noticed people have there cheques don't know what's happen to my cheques hopefully on there way

Update 12th feb. CHEQUES HAVE ARRIVED. Received my ppi offer letter 5th november. Have phoned three times the second time i was told ring back in two weeks phoned back yesterday to be told cheque may be sent out this week or next ring back in two weeks if not received. Ive had ppi back from other companys in a lot less time than this company are taking. 😡 just rang again today 27th january. Told ANOTHER 2 weeks. !!!!!!!!. ABS JOKE. maybe i should order something from the catalogue then when their payment is due keep telling them ring me in 2 weeks. Update i have rang again today 3rd feb was told they dont know why cheques havent been sent out and they dont know when they will. The lady who i spoke to advised me to ring financial ombudsman.

If I could give no stars I would. Was told ppi owing in October still waiting, now told the cheque was sent out in December.. but wait I havent recieved it, they can re- issue but it will take another 6 weeks... yet I've recieved two cheques one for 1pence the other for 7 pence never went missing..very convenient. If I owed them money I would be in court now or bailiffs knocking. About time this kind of rogue business was stopped. It's now March and I'm still waiting. This has been since October..
Haven’t had my very ppi yet
Haven’t had my very ppi yet, got redress letter 22nd of November so 8 weeks passed by. Have phoned once and was told 8 weeks from letter that I would be paid! Judging by other reviews of people calling them, waiting and receiving payment I should hear something soon! Will see! Not sure why it takes so long to print a cheque and post as the funds are there for payouts according to all the publicity surrounding shopping direct!
Have now reported to ombudsmen after reading latest reviews!

Just rang this morning! Was told the finance department have released cheques and that I should receive by next week! When I asked if I don’t receive it by next week should I ring back the answer was yes! Hopefully everyone will receive there’s to as there seems to be some consistency with there answers now! Here’s hoping!

12/2/20 cheque finally arrived. 10/2/20 called today and apparently cheques getting posted out this week for November. I will believe it when I see it. We have waited 15weeks now. called today 5th feb. Still don’t know when they will be posting them. I really don’t think we are going to see these cheques. I will keep calling but it’s disappointment every time. It really is disgusting. Called today 3rd feb. No idea when cheques will be posted. 12weeks of waiting now. This is beyond a joke. Update, called again today to be told they were suppose to post cheques last weekend but didn’t and will be posted next weekend now. They don’t work weekends do they? I don’t think we are going to see these cheques ever???? Has anyone else had there cheques? we originally had our letter beginning of November. Update- apparently they have posted 1st week of November cheques out this week. So we should have ours within 2weeks but I’ll believe it when I see it.

I used Claimeazy to act on my behalf and in September 2019 got the news that I was due a cheque within 21days....still waiting but to make matters worse Claimeazy keep sending me text messages and emails for their fee. I've contacted them on numerous occasions explaining why I haven't paid. I've always been told don't worry that they're aware of the high volume of claims Shopdirect have and there's s backlog there working through. What really is stressing me out is the text messages regarding it going to a debt collector , again was always told it wouldn't go that far however received that text message on Saturday morning (4th Jan) that it had now been passed to the debt collector and I had 7days to contact them to make payment. I am absolutely disgusted the way this has turned out and i wish i had never started the claim.

Since September 2018 I've been waiting for Littlewoods to explain how the arrears on my August statement were calculated.
I paid the BNPL items on my account in the specified time not to be charged the interest. (The minimum amount on the statement showed how much would be owing if the BNPL was not paid in time.) So I was surprised to see I was in arrears on the following statement.
I was told on two separate occasions by two different CSA's that these were due to computer error. However, the arrears accumulated on my account and no one so far (in customer services, arrears department or customer complaints) has been able to explain how the arrears were calculated.
I requested the recordings of my conversations with Littlewoods to prove I was led to believe the arrears were due to system failure. After seeking advice from the financial ombudsman and numerous phone calls and emails, I finally received these in zip files in August. Unfortunately, I was not sent a password to open them until today (02/01/20) after complaining to the ICO who investigate GDPR breaches.
In November (2019) I was sent a letter from Littlewoods (Word document with a table inserted) with a list of items that are outstanding on my account (reason for the arrears). Four of the items were from March 2017, however, future statements show that these items were cleared. It seems that these figures were just plucked from the air - noone at Littlewoods has any idea how the arrears were calculated.
I have been waiting months, too, for all of my correspondence with them - emails to their complaints department via my account. (This route of redress is now not an option on their website - we can only complain by phone or letter.) I am still waiting for this information!
Littlewoods keep closing my complaint even though it has not been resolved. I have been advised to contact ICO again if they do not resolve this issue satisfactorily.
All I've been asking is for a human being to admit they made a mistake or at least be accountable for the way they've treated me.
I refuse to pay for arrears that noone can explain. It is not right or fair. They need to show transparency. How many other customers are they treating in this way?!
I'm entitled under the GDPR laws to have access to all of the information Littlewoods has on me.

PPI cheque finally arrived
Received letter on 16th October stating my PPI refund would be issued within 21 days. After multiple phone calls finally received my cheque on 30th December. Very poor customer service throughout.
So after waiting for months and chasing - cheques arrived!
UPDATE. ALL CHEQUES RECEIVED AND ANOTHER £50 AS A GOODWILL GESTURE FOR THEIR MISTAKES.
So after waiting for months and chasing on numerous occasions I have received three out of four cheques. As to why they are being sent out in dribs and drabs who knows, it’s the blatant lying by this business that gets me.
The letters also stated that interest would be recalculated but it wasn’t so I will be contacting them and the FCA about that - in addition they have messed up my very account with everything that was on buy now pay in 12 months is now to be paid now! Incompetent isn’t the word.
Don’t give up people you will get your money but don’t think it will be a quick or easy process.

Still waiting for my refund too I had a letter on 15 th of November 2019 to say cheque will be with me within 21 days , now I’m worried it would take months before as i haven’t had my cheque yet . It would have been so handy to have it now but I think I’ll neber going to get it . They change their tune all the time .

It's a laugh I have been told cheque would be issued in 21 days only to be told by a very rude customer adviser that it would be issued in 8 to 10 week's I am taking my complaint to the Ombudsman if need be I will persue it in the small claims court which will cost them more by way of court costs.

Been waiting since March for my ppi refund. A cheque was supposedly reissued in September after the first one was 'lost'. It's now Christmas and still nothing! If I owed them money, I'm sure I'd have a CCJ against me by now plus interest. Funny how it doesn't work the other way round! 🤔

People go on Google and see post about Shop Direct Losses due to PPI Claims Shop Direct are a complete joke, just read all the reviews and I have also been fobbed of should have got my cheque in November but now told they are only producing cheques for October so now because I was notified in writing in November the amount I was getting and a letter saying I would have my cheque in 21 days I will now only get my cheque possibly end of January. I have looked at a financial post on Google stating Shop Direct are in financial trouble with millions being paid out in PPI claims they took our PPI payments without our permission so now pay out and stop letting your poor admin staff take all the flack not one supervisor or Manager taking calls

Rang and all i got told is there is a back logged and finance have been off over christmas.
That only cheques from end of October are being issued!

Still waiting on ppi complaint. Put in my complaint in August, Littlewoods quick to respond to say they were dealing with complaint and to allow 8 weeks. We are now at 18 weeks and still no desicion has been made, 3 letters received all asking for more time. Numerous phone calls all telling me different things, the only thing that remains the same us " We need more time " yeah how much more?. Absolute joke!!!!

What an absolute shambles waiting for a PPI claim to be paid out. Shop Direct are just constantly fobbing people off with dates and lack of information. Whilst we all appreciate that there may be delays due to the deadline date how on earth can you calculate a refund and not be able to issue a cheque shortly after. They should be made to publicly answer the question. Why is it taking so long to repay people?

shop direct are the worst payers of ppi was told back at begining of october i had won my claim told i would have cheque within 21 days that went so phoned told i would have it by 4th december then the 11th december just rang and told they are only just issuing cheques from 20th september so told it would be at least another 4 to 6 weeks this is an absolute joke as was banking on the money for christmas so sorry kids no presents or food this year thanks shop direct for a very unmerry christmas. it is now 2019 why can you not payout by f aster payment methods straight into accounts like other companys
