Im a 40 year SR shopper. My experience with Shoprites in Monmouth County NJ was always good. However moving to Burlington County 4 years ago the SR stores here are very low quality and higher prices.... See more

I’ve had multiple disappointing…
I’ve had multiple disappointing experiences at the ShopRite in Skillman, and unfortunately, today was no different. They often advertise special holiday deals, but when you get to the register, the prices haven’t been adjusted correctly — meaning you end up overcharged unless you catch it yourself.
A couple of weeks ago, I didn’t notice until I had already packed everything in my car. I had to go back into the store to get my money back — which was inconvenient but understandable once. However, today, on Memorial Day, I had again been overcharged for a holiday deal (Porterhouse T-bone steak). I went to customer service, and their response was incredibly rude and dismissive. They seemed irritated that I even brought it up.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but it’s how a store responds that matters. Unfortunately, the customer service team at this location does not seem to know what customer service means. There was no apology, no courtesy, just impatience.
This is not the level of professionalism I expect from a store like ShopRite. I hope management takes this seriously and improves training, because at this point, I’m reconsidering shopping here altogether.
ShopRite discriminated
I do my shopping at the route 37 in toms River, New Jersey Shoprite for over five years. Never have I been treated like I was treated today. Some new young person named Brian(never seen this kid before ) in the express lanes approached my cart as I was finishing pain and decides to take something from the bottom of my cart. Whenever I buy sodas, I take theracks with me, I am Handicap and that makes it easy for me. I bring them back the next time I come. Never had I had anybody approach me in the manner that Brian did. I think as if he was the boss very rude. He just pointed me up because I was the only Latin customer in the store. goes running and gets Brett a manager for which I do not like because he’s very rude and very disrespectful to to his employees and customers. He came and removed the item making waves in front of other people making it very uncomfortable for me. Again attack because I am Hispanic. It’s not the first time I’ve had issues with this so-called manager, Brett. He should not be a manager because he has no skills working with people. I didn’t appreciate the way. They both attacked me today and Brett coming, abusing his authority and embarrassing me in front of other people. I amHandicap disabled and try to make my shopping as easy as possible for myself. I’ve been doing the same thing I mentioned above for over four years never been an issue. These two persons need to learn how to do their job correctly and treat everybody the same, not pinpoint the only Hispanic in the store and attack her. The embarrassment that they caused me today is unacceptable. The manager Brett when people talk to him, he looks down at the person if their not a white American. Shame on these two people, and I hope they get better trained.
Pharmacy is charging above the price…
Pharmacy is charging above the price fixed by the State for Insulin and double price for needles than without insurance. Not friendly and cooperative pharmacist.
Talked with manager. He even refused to talk instead asked to call corporate office or DOH.
That you have to look for store…
That you have to look for store associates to help you out instead of them coming up to you to see if you need help. The store manager in New City could be a lot more friendlier towards the customers and store associates. He also should wear clothes that actually fit. He should listen to the customers that complain and fix the problems within the store.
Cheated at Shop Rite port jefferson
Bought an item on sale for $8 and they charged me $22 , when I called I asked them to just issue credit as I am disabled. They admit it was their error but refused to issue any credit unless I come back in. So I go through great effort to shop with them and they make a mistake but I have to get a neighbor to drive me back again so they can correct a mistake they made. They could have just issued a store credit for the lousy $10 instead of the Galagher Family making me go back to they can correct their mistake.
Rude!
I visited Branchburg, NJ store this evening and had an unpleasant experience at the self-checkout area. An employee, wearing a noticeably dirty shirt and apron, approached me and rudely told me to leave because, according to him, I had too many items in my cart for self-checkout. Instead of explaining the policy politely or offering assistance, he repeatedly mumbled about the quantity of my items and scurried away each time, avoiding any real conversation. The lack of professionalism and courtesy was disappointing.
The Bakery section at Eddystone…
The Bakery section at Eddystone Shoprite is awful after 3 pm. Nobody writes on cake efficiently. I had misspelled words, chicken shit handwriting etc. etc. Do they even have associates who are proficient at writing on cakes there? A mess! Do better Eddystone! You would never see this at a BROWN'S SHOPRITE!
Terrible customer service
We went to the ShopRite in Brodheadsville, PA. We go twice a year for the Prime Rib sale. Meat department is always amazing, they go above and beyond. Today my husband went to the meat department and asked his usual for a deboned prime rib, which they have always done for him, the past several years and the lady was so nasty to him and snapped “they’re over there in the cooler” and shut the door in his face. They were smaller and had the bone in them, so we paid more and got less. This lady needs to go back to customer service 101 or just not work there.
Digital coupons Shop Rite I like what the store offers…
As much as I like what the store offers their digital coupons are a scam. They do not work. I use the app load the or click on the items discounts and they do not work. The coupons do not load to the card. The manager is not able to assist. OR the items listed in the digital app is not carried in store. Either provide a coupon book or leaflet in store or just get rid of the digital coupons.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, terrible product and no one can clearly assist me to return their crappy product. Emails back and forth with no clear directive. Will never use this site again! RIP off! No branding on the product. Very poor service.

I was in shoprite on english creek and Britney couldn't have been any nicer. She asked how thin I wanted the ham and even showed it to me to make sure it was just right. She was fast polite and even had a smile for me
Krystal and Ed (identified themselves…
Krystal and Ed (identified themselves as store managers in Fairfield CT) worst customer service experience. Hopefully DeRosa does the right thing and fires them both
A one-stop supermarket with almost all…
A one-stop supermarket with almost all the food products you need to keep your body healthy, the customer personnel know their job well to help customers shop with ease, there is more than enough parking, and it is in the heart of the city!
VEGGIES ARE ALMOST ALL BAD OR MOLDY
It is absolute robbery that when…
It is absolute robbery that when placing an online order the charge is $4.99 which is more than any other store i know and then they won't put the groceries in your car. I asked worker "Nick" why this is and he said the 4.99 was the "shopping fee". Many people with mobility issues use this service and it is just poor customer service to push the full cart out and walk away. You lost me!
SCAM ARTISTS
SCAM ARTISTS! I did an online order with an “estimated total” (how they save themselves) of $63. When I went to pick up my order I was charge almost $80! I expected a few dollars or cents difference-not $15! I will NEVER do online ordering from there ever again!
ShopRite in Hammonton sucks
Wow they have all these self check out and every time I scan something there is a problem and someone has to fix it I just spent an hour at the Hammonton shop rite I rather drive to Berlin this place sucks it’s sad.
Comfort dogs.
Really tired of seeing dogs in shopping carts that are suppose to be comfort dogs.a Comfort dog is suppose to walk next to you not be in a cart where people put food it's nasty I've asked other people they feel the same way!!!!!
Need To Be Aware of Their Stores
Corporate needs to immediately go to the Middletown NJ store, close it down, fire all the managers, replace them with qualified people, staff the place properly (pay staff more if it's an issue), and re-open the place after they clean house and fix the place.
Everytime i buy cassava or some…
Everytime i buy cassava or some vegetables they are usually bad. Nobody has time to be going back even when you got a replacement of the same item. It still comes out bad.
