Spot on, happy customer

Good quality products at a reasonable price.

All of the 22 handles that I ordered were perfect, decent screws, two lengths provided so no messing around with ones that you have to snap to size.

Fantastic handles

Wowww i wish i could have given more stars! The handles are super nice and sturdy and they look fab in my kitchen! They are a life saver as I could not find the size anywhere. Shipping was very fast as well. Thank you very much

Excellent company to deal with

Excellent company to deal with. Fast delivery, really good communication and any questions are answered swiftly. You can also get hold of them on the phone (a rarity these days). Have ordered a whole house worth of handles and latches as well as other hardware. Product quality is top-notch. After an order I placed, they rang me to let me know that they thin I may have accidentally ordered too many latches (turns out I did) and refunded me the cost of the extra ones. Most would have left it as is but, this shows that they actively check orders before dispatch. Absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend these guys.

Fast delivery and well packaged.

Placed a fairly large order with Simplydoorhandles for Zoo hinges, handles and latches at 11pm on evening of Sunday 28th September. Everything arrived on Monday 29th September! Well packaged, all brand new in original boxes. Excellent service, thank you.

Fantastic Products & Very Helpful Team Members

We are refurbishing our front door b/c the existing 'black forged' door furniture is tired, and the door was in a bad state. After doing a vast amount of searching online for reputable door furniture, we came across 'Simplydoorhandles'. We contacted their Sales team by email and were greeted by Lindsay, who helped field my questions and passed them over to Kate.
Fast forward to Friday 22/08, new door furniture (except letterbox) has been fitted to the front door.
We would definitely recommend 'Simplydoorhandles' to anyone looking to give their doors/home an upgrade - great selection of products and a helpful team of people working there!!

Do not use if any return they will try to refuse credit

Letterbox didn't quite fit.. everything packaged up and sent back at my own cost. Quick email to state I damaged the letterbox, apparently hanging out of the plastic sleeve and the box. Even then I can assure you it was all packaged up.. let's say it fell out in transit royal mail 48hrs tracked. The accusation the plastic bag of a bolt or screw scratched the face plate.. yes through the plastic bag... pretty impossible. My options allow them to dispose no refund or return to me for a 3rd delivery charge.. Shocking! Misrepresentation and accusation of distrust for something that was quite simply impossible.Do Not Use!!!

We were surprised and disappointed by your recent review, as we believe it does not accurately reflect the situation.

Your comment regarding “misrepresentation and accusation of distrust” is unfounded. Upon receiving your return, our warehouse supervisor found one brass letterplate outside of its inner packaging, with the fixing bolts loose and placed directly on the face of the item. Unfortunately, this resulted in visible dents and scratches, rendering the product unsuitable for resale.

As per our standard procedure, clearly outlined in our returns policy, we promptly sent you photographic evidence of the damage and explained that, in such cases, we are unable to process a refund. We offered you the option to either have the item returned to you or for us to dispose of it, in accordance with our stated policy.

This outcome was a direct result of how the item was packaged and returned, and not due to any misrepresentation on our part.

Kate is a LEGEND! Great experience on the phone.

Kate is a LEGEND!
I placed an order in January 2024 and wanted the same handles for another bedroom (February 2025). Despite them being discontinued she was positive, friendly and professional in giving me the SKU numbers for the other sizes and the manufacturer details to try and find where I can get the other two sizes.

Kate is a valuable asset to the company and it's kind people like her that make the shopping experience so much better (Trust me I know because I've spent 3 hours on the phone with other ironmongers who were 'plain-Jane' when talking to them).

Would be happy to recommend to anyone.

I’m sorry to hear that you felt the need to leave such a review. It appears that this was based on you receiving your partner’s order, and then reporting missing high-value items a month after delivery.

We take claims like this very seriously and have thoroughly investigated with the manufacturer responsible for shipping the order. They confirmed that all items were included, as they were scanned during both the picking and packing processes. Additionally, the total weight of the completed order was recorded as 5 kg, a measurement independently verified by DHL.

If items had indeed been missing, the parcel would have weighed only 1.2 kg and been a much smaller package overall. Had any error occurred in the order preparation, we would gladly reship the missing items. However, we can confidently confirm that the full order was provided.

Not being experienced in anything DIY

Not being experienced in anything DIY, I was a little apprehensive about ordering external locking door handles and a matching letter plate with knocker. However, with an email or two with Kate for advice, I ordered my requirements from the great choice available. Products are really of excellent quality and feel and would not hesitate to recommend Simplydoorhandles.

Great quality + quick delivery

Ordered some heritage brass door handles on Sunday, arrived on Wednesday at 1.30pm - brilliant. They are perfect. Really good quality, I can't wait to get them on the doors! Also spoke to Kate in customer service who was totally delightful. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend

Refused to replace order not received

Purchased handles from this company and though DPD claimed 'delivered' the parcel was not left in my 'safe place' and therefore was never received. Customer Service claims "this is how the delivery driver interpreted your safe place" and then refused the replace the items that were never received. Never had a problem will deliveries before, also never had a business refuse to replace an order that was never received and choose to hide behind a delivery policy that it's our responsibility if anything is left in a safe place - even when it was not left in the safe place! Extremely poor customer service.

As I have mentioned in our correspondence over the past few days, when selecting the option for the driver to leave in a safe place, it also entails assuming responsibility for the parcel's security. We have carefully reviewed the image provided by DPD, and while we acknowledge that the parcel was placed behind the bin as you requested, we regret that it might not have met your expectations in terms of positioning, resulting in the parcel then disappearing from that location. However, I must reiterate that the parcel in the image was indeed left as instructed 'behind' the bin.
With regards to your request for replacements, regrettably, we cannot fulfil it in this instance due to the agreement made when selecting the safe place option. We strive to adhere to policies consistently to ensure fairness to all customers.
