Cheapest and because of the KPN network one of the more environmentally friendly options. I just think it's very outdated to only be able to choose between being Mr or Mrs.

I signed one year contract and now in the middle of the contract, they emailed me saying they will increase the price of my monthly subsicription because of the inflation!
Simyo is unreliable and they dont stick to the contract. Avoid them.

Biggest scam ever, took all my money without informing me. Besides that I was in constant contact with them and I never received a reply and they added a lot of additional costs during the time I was trying to solve an issue with them. Now I asked atleast 5 times in a whole period to cancel my account and they still want me to pay €61,80 . They are literally insane! !!!!!!!
Never use this horrible company!
Imagine they made a mistake so you get in contact with them, they don’t reply and said they would send you an email with the new invoice, then they never do! And keep adding costs and tell you it’s your fault!!
THE WORST PHONE COMPANY EVER!!

When i subscrib for 1 year, the contract say if i am a kpn customer i will get free 10 gb . That is not the case i didn't get the free 10gb

Asking if it was OK for Simyo to distribute my phone number to third parties for marketing and commercial offers is actually a quite disturbing question they asked me!
simyo dissapointed a lot. I took a simyo year contract for my mother in law. and she did not use the mobile for 6 months. FIrst Simyo could not take the old number and gave a temp number. I aggreed to have the temo number. I suppose normally if you take and aggree to an year contract then its for an year and not for 6 months. Second nowhere on google is a help desk number where i can call and ask for support. Number was not used for 6 months and hence contract was cancelled( no ideas if it is written anywhere in terms and conditions in small letters. What I think it should be that simyo should call to ask for confirmation and not just cancel the contract. I would write it on google to , for clients going for simyo, To think couple of future consequences and helpdesk services.

First of all it’s not possible to convert a monthly plan to prepaid, only the other way around is supported. So I had to purchase a new prepaid SIM and port over the number, which of course takes a month. But to make it much worse, on the day the number was ported I was abroad, out of EU, and had turned off roaming to avoid charges. Somehow the roaming was automatically turned back on and without me noticing my phone used a few MB in background and I was charged over 40€. After explaining the situation to their support they refused to take responsibility and continued to bill the roaming cost. All in all, this is a deliberate scam. I would avoid this company if you are considering to get a SIM with them…

Horrible, absolutely the WORST provider! Stay as far as possible from this fraud company… Before our flight I turned off the roaming like 100% off! But when we arrived at Mexico they automatically turned on the roaming and charged me over 40 euros for sending one WA message!! Guess that’s how they make money.. The customer service is unhelpful, slow and even rude! This company should and will go bankrupt soon I believe.

DO NOT GO THERE.
Signed up with Simyo firstly they said they sent a sim card, i waited two weeks and recieved nothing, sent them a whatapp message and the lady sent one to me.
Secondly, when buying the contract they DO NOT tell you that it'll take over a month to set up number retention, what they dont also tell you until you have signed up is that the contract doesn't start until your number has been transfered across, during which time you are able to build up a 150 euro pay as you go bill without warning until you recieve a text message that "your sim card has been blocked due to high usage". And when you compain to customer services via Whatsapp they refer you to 3.3 on your contract and tell you that "when you sign into your account online, then it clearly states it. Very hard to sign into your account when your sim card has been blocked and you dont have a pc.
Also try and find your contract online when you havent recieved it. When you read their terms and conditions it is very confusing. A sh£t weekend, a S%^t company and hot happy at all.
And apparently according to their customer services agent, my contract has started with them "when i activated the sim" but their contract with me does not start until the number retention procedure has completed.
What they dont know is that i used to work for vodaphone in the UK, number transfering between providers only takes a couple of hours, two days at most (during christmas time and busy periods).
They're obviously also getting to much of a customer base because when i ask them to cancel my contract, the person said ok no problem but you still have to pay the 150 euro, I understand that, however, my payments in the future will add up to more than that but they obviosuly dont care.

Good prices , but if you make a simple mistake , like use just a little extra data, or roam, the fees are so high as to be massively exploitive.

Stay away. I've had tons of cell providers all over the world (work in tech, and have worked with ISPs). this is the worst company I have seen.
I tried buying an internet package for my stay in NL for a couple of days. Problems:
1) They have very limited payment options. I had to do a bank payment (usually I can do credit card with all other companies) which meant my payment didn't go through until a day later
2) Their prices are very bad. I paid 10 euro for a 1gb internet package
3) When I had trouble activating my package (for no obvious reason) it took customer service over 2 days to get back to me
4) First time my internet package worked, second time I bought one (cause it ran out in like a day), it didn't for some reason - and so I paid in vain for something I never ended up using, cause I left the country in the meantime. I'm entitled to a refund, but have had to chat for customer service for days without them giving me a refund; which is in breach with Dutch consumer laws.
... 5) So this company is also engaged in illegal activity. Incredible.
I'm usually not the one to complain, but I had to warn others of this company. Use something else for your own sake.

I don’t know who in their right mind would choose this company over Lebara . I made the mistake , because it was the only “ affordable” subscription that firstly implemented e-sim so I was kinda forced to choose Simyo, but I would definitely go back in time and cut my hands off. I have had certain occasions where they would charge me an extreme amount of money e.g for “ over usage of data” when I wouldn’t even have signal. And mind you I have the 20GB plan, that means that I would have managed (in less than 3 hours ) to download 5 ( !! )4K movies… Now another scam tactic is to charge me 30€ for 5MB because I was in the US. MIND YOU that I have already deactivated my simyo e sim and already installed the US one. I mean is 5MB!!! That’s maybe opening up the data option and closing it back again.!! Anyhow, The moral of the story is that if you decide to pair up with Simyo you will have to pay random extra out of bundle bs so they can milk the hell out of you ( since the subscription is so affordable and convenient) . If you go out of bundle they do not stop overcharging you or just limit the internet use for example just like any other normal telephone service but on purpose the let you keep using it so you can pay 5€ per MB…

Horrible service!
These guys failed to deliver a SIM card to me and keep asking for a SIM number from the back of the card to issue a duplicate or a e-SIM. How can this be done if you never had a card in a first place?!
They don’t read your emails, don’t reponed to them, don’t speak English, don’t have physical support sites.
Total failure!
