An absolute scam. They billed me €116,68 for 786MB I used above my current plan. Yes, that's megabytes, not gigabytes!
They seem to charge €0.15 per 1MB for data overage, and they don't cap your usage by default. To enable the capping, you need to pay €0.50 per month for a very basic functionality.
I'm eligible to KPN Compleet which would have given me 20GB instead of 10GB, but that was never activated by them, because their system is not detecting that I'm eligible. Talked to their customer support and besides "Try again", they were of no help.
In short, it's a scam. It's designed to make you endure these super high charges (I wonder if that's their main revenue stream)
!!! €116,68 for 786 MB !!! What world are these people living in.
I'm looking forward to the end of my contract so I can switch to another provider.

Terrible company. Whilst disputing an interest payment when Simyo only attempted the payment once and speaking directly to their customer support team they preceded to double the fee.
Outrageous practises and no trust in this business. Avoid.

The key is that Simyo’s focus is to maximise revenue, not to optimize customer satisfaction.
Simyo attracts customers by offering competitive packages with limited data access within EU and no allocation outside EU. Exceeding the limits will lead to exorbitant charges, like 500 Euro in 8 minutes data usage at the airport in a non-EU country, 2,000 Euro for usage outside package of a few GB in data within EU.
This is in no relation to any actual cost made (10GB within package is charged 2 Euro, excess charge for 10GB is more than 1,000 Euro).
The result is a very unreliable provider, a company you basically do not want to deal with as it makes you feel they are after finding ways to “get” you.

I’m really not happy with Simyo. Everything feels very limited and almost every little thing seems to come with an extra cost. One of the most frustrating things is that the moment I cross the border into Germany or Belgium, my mobile data stops working completely. I immediately receive a message saying I need to pay extra to use data, which was a huge disappointment.
I genuinely believed that Simyo would work throughout EU Zone 1 without issues, as most providers offer this by default. Unfortunately, now I realize that going for the cheaper option wasn’t worth it in the long run. As soon as my contract ends, I’ll definitely be switching to another provider

They offer one things and then later charge you a lot more,I have paid 320 euros for 2 numbers because of Internet,then they canceled my number and told that I still need to pay additional money for terminating the contract!!!!They promised to call me back but never called,that's how the customer service works!!!SIMYO IS A SCAM!!!!

What a scam! I deactivated my subscription and then got a 111 euros fee with no explanation.
Customer serivce was responsive but many workers did not speak English. After some days I finally could find someone who could help and cancel the bill, thanks!

I did all the steps and paid and I did not receive my e-sim login details. I received a no reply email saying my request is rejected without any valid explanation!!

Everything is in place to let you pay if you go outside your bundels - excessive pricing outside of bundle.
Customer service afterwards not great.

Roaming charges are insane, the subscription might be cheap but a single mistake will make you pay the same cost as If you have a first class internet provider.(1) the rate limiting doesn't work for roaming even if you set it on the app. (Dataplafond inscarbed
is set to 0.50 Euro)
In my case, roaming was active while I arrived to a country outside of EU, the phone automatically connects to the network and uses 12 Megabytes of Data which totals to 60 Euros.
It is better to sign for a provider that protects you from this charges, even Lyca Mobile provides this mechanism to protect you from unintentional charges.
(1) I have this issue happens twice this years causing a charge of 120 Euros, which would usually get me a nice subscription from top tier provider

Don't use this provider. They sent me messages in a different language to tell me I had gone over my plan. My bill came to €140 and when I cancelled I need to pay for another 30 days so my total is €186. Total scam Miya is better 💯

Keep sending invoices for a service that was deactivated more than a year ago
Forced us to pay a full more year, even after leaving the country
After the contract finished, we had to pay a deactivation fee which was never explained when signing the contract in the first place
