Absolutely disgusting, spoke to theteam, had email etc. Told them everything was in place. Had to drive from Caerphilly, an hour away. they even gave me an appointment. Got down here early, no text, phonecall or email to say it had been sold within the last 10 minutes. Totally disgusted!!! Servie, what service ???

We went for a look, to see if there was anything nice. A beautiful t-roc caught our eye so went in to get more info. Liam was absolutely wonderful with us. Didn’t push us, answered any questions and even gave me a lesson driving automatic. The aftercare has been outstanding and I’m totally in love with the car.

Craig Howell went out of his way to get the sale completed for my eldest son’s birthday on 1st January which meant we had the car the day before. He answered all my questions promptly and managed the sale proactively even though I was in Mexico at the time.

I visited to purchase my first car and was greeted by a gentleman called Sam, he was absolutely incredible. Very helpful and taken the time to talk me through everything about the car, was very patient with me during the test drive as I was so nervous (first time driving solo since passing my test). A real genuine and kind man, I recommended him and Volkswagen to friends and colleagues when speaking about cars.
I didn’t feel rushed into buying the car it was a very nice experience. Upon collecting the car Sam and Isabelle were really helpful, didn’t rush the process, explained everything to me and even shown me all the controls on the car and helped me get set up to be on my way. I absolutely adore my car and look forward to buying with them again in the future.

Phoned up this morning to ask how much a key for my Golf 8 would cost me. After giving the registration number was told it would be £244 and it was explained to me it would take a couple of weeks to get. I rang Sinclair VW because I wanted to know if the key would be just simply expensive or a rip-off. At £244 I decided it was just about affordable.

Drove the half hour to the dealership and then spent an unnecessary 50 Minutes in the dealership to discover that the key was not in fact £244 but was £428. Turns out it is £244 for the key plus cutting of the skeleton key which gets the price to £308 and then another £120 to code it in to the vehicle.

I had had enough by this point. Whilst the young lad serving was polite and helpful I really would not have chosen to waste an hour driving to and from the dealership were I to have known that the key £428, and to spend 50 minutes in there to get to the point at which I discover the key is 75% more expensive than I have been quoted on the phone. It made my blood boil.

I have decided to make do with one key until someone in the aftermarket cracks VW’s latest keys and can supply them at prices that do not take advantage of customers.

The car is excellent but the vehicle handover and subsequent support has been very poor. I’ve purchased 10 vehicles from the Sinclair Group over the past 20 years, and the most recent experience with the Swansea VW team has been a big disappointment. Certainly not what I have been use to in all my other dealings with the Group.
