Expiry shea butter stinky yogurty highly cheesy smell with very old stone type hard mix in between the soft shea butter of 5 kg.
Organic neem 250 ml has mould inside the bottle mouth and don't look like concentrated even in the smell , very light probably hydrosol.
Asked for refund, but refused telling the complaint exceed time policy despite purchased on 2025 on oct/nov but I purchased collected to do my project in my spare time .. yet still with the quality of organic they sell is completely unacceptable and how is this company still survive as they say its about more than 20 years old ? HOW??

I ordered essential oil from this shop and never received an order confirmation email or the essential oil. Thank goodness I purchased it through PayPal and could submit a claim that way.

Item was not delivered in full. They are refusing to share courier and tracking details and are saying that their T&Cs supercede the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

And this is for a regular customer. Avoid.

Update: They eventually provided the details and the item has fortunately been located. It doesn't avoid the fact that they were rude throughout. It's bad business IMHO. Suggest you spend it at the Soap Kitchen or the Soapery. At least they're professional.

So glad I purchased from this company, I initially had some questions about some of the products and they answered them very quickly and with great knowledge. After I made a purchase, my order came the very next day and was packaged very well. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

First time order. Highly disappointed.

I ordered organic argan oil batch 10596.. when I opened it, the colour of the oil was clear. Argan oil is supposed to be yellow. I checked the batch certificate online, and it describes the colour as yellow.

I do not believe the product inside the bottle was aragn oil.

I purchased other oils from this company, and now do not trust the quality to use them. Such a shame, as I was really looking forward to finding a local uk company to source from.

This was my first order with Soapmakers. Products are great and the prices competitive. Great service. I found them to be very fair and show great integrity.

Very pleased with all the ingredients I received. I was particularly impressed all the technical paperwork was on the website for me to download. Very often I have to chase suppliers for CofA's for the correct batch number.

Oh dear I have used them for at least five years and they have always be polite, quick service and promptly answered email.

Terrible company and attitude of the clown I spoke to was awful. I purchased 12kg of soap and was sent cuts from a larger block that looked like offcuts and was told that for me to return the offcuts I would have to cover return postal costs at my expense then when I advised that I would be writing a review the clown on the phone said I was blackmailing them but I never said if you don't do this I will write a terrible review I just advised I will be writing a review, if you think of using this company DONT use craftovator or any other company that way you get what you want and the staff are extremely helpful, I only used soapmakers as craftovator was out of stock

Terrible experience all round

It took ages for my order to be shipped, around 2 weeks. I contacted them, is almost like they forgot my order. They did not respond to my message but shipped the order a couple of days after receiving it. It was at least 37 pages of paperwork in relation to the order some of which should be kept by the company. I paid the 23% VAT which is normal and import duties. But today 4 weeks since my order arrived I got another invoice for another VAT that was not clarified before. TERRIBLE company, unprofessional, no communication and the products are horrible with expiration dates of a bowl of soup. NEVER AGAIN!!
