Very satisfied. Very neat installation. Panels much larger than I imagined. Once completed, everything was explained. System up et running.

Stafff in the office and on site were responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. The installation was done efficiently and at the time agreed. The installer explained the system to me on the day. Early indications are that the upgraded installation seems to be working more efficiently than before as I had hoped.

After a lot of time investigating and talking to different solar companies, I chose SolarTherm because of their willingness to discuss different options. A lot that I spoke to just gave you one option, and that was their only offer due to them using something like a contact center with people who just sit on a phone taking calls.
Arrived on time. Scaffolding was erected in the morning of installation, and the 16 panels, batteries & inverter were installed and completed on the same day. Very clean & tidy job and have had no reason to call SolarTherm back in.
The install team were VERY accommodating. Because of the layout of my house, I wanted the cable run through a specific route. Because of this I ran the cables myself, but they were supplied by SolarTherm.
Getting the scaffold removed is a different story ...
I STRONGLY advise anyone using SolarTherm to agree a date beforehand when the scaffold will be removed. The scaffold Co. (which is a sister company of SolarTherm) were going to leave the scaffold up for a month AFTER install - free storage for their scaffolding !! After strong words, it was removed after 2 weeks.

Other than the scaffold issue, I would recommend SolarTherm.

I contacted Solartherm as one of many local installers from whom I wanted quotes. Right from the start the experience was somewhat better than I had from many competitors.

My initial point of contact was Lily in sales who was responsive to emails and queries and gave comprehensive and easy to understand replies, and the surveyor, Mark, who was impressive in his knowledge of the systems, roof construction. issues they usually face with install, and the practicalities of how his company's products would work with our household.

Many of their rivals pressed us to buy extra products, but Solartherm respected us by quoting for exactly what we wanted without quibble.

Solartherm were ready to install within days - we actually had to delay them due to pre booked holidays - and they had the entire install done inside one working day with minimal hassle or noise (their scaffolding guy came 2 days earlier to prep the site). The internal and external work was very tidy (they had to run a cable trunk through the house due to issues with the external tiling) and they took the time to show us everything they had done and explain how it could be expected to work.

Has to be mentioned as well that their quote was cheaper than any of the local rivals as well, and I'd have to say they'd be highly recommended by my wife and I. There was no attempt to pad out the quote or to upsell us to things we didn't want.

A genuinely friendly, honest and efficient company. My family and I weren’t sure where to start with the process but the customer service team were incredible at guiding us and giving us enough time to make informed decisions. We never felt pressured to make quick decisions and when we decided what was right for us, the process was simple and painless.
The fitters were friendly, quick and efficient and they had the whole system installed and working in a day!

The whole process from start to finish has been exceptionally managed by the whole team. Sam in sales was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions. Mark the surveyor turned up on time and again was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Matt and his team arrived spot on time and got to work immediately. All the guys were very polite and Matt spent a great deal of time with me going through the whole system setup. In a nutshell, everyone involved, from the Admin staff to the installation team, have all been a pleasure to deal with.

The Engineer, Matthew, arrived on time with his team. They were courteous and purposeful and set about checking and testing my malfunctioning solar energy installation. After a series of methodical assessments he identified a problem and retrofitted a fix. He then thoroughly checked the system to confirm the fix had worked

Excellent service from start to finish. Great help in deciding what system to go for. Office staff back up was polite and friendly. The team of 4 who came to do the installation were friendly and polite working quickly and cleanly as a team and gave a clear explanation of the installed equipment. I would thoroughly recommend SolarTherm to anyone thinking of installing solar power.

PS and so far the panels installed are more then meeting my expectations.

After being pushed by other companies it was refreshing to speak with Jemma who was very informative and knowledgeable. We couldn't use the app straight away but the aftercare team were very understanding and have helped us to understand the technology.

We are absolutely delighted with the installation of 16 Solar Panels and 4 batteries. Work was completed on time as promised and the engineers are very professional and do an excellent job. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
My only advice would be to ensure you buy sufficient batteries. If you dont buy enough you will export to the grid and it is not cost affective. Furthermore the lead time for extra batteries can be a long time due to current demand.

Having read all the reviews on this site I totally agree with all the 5 star ones. (saves me repeating)
Initially I thought that there were 2 issues which it turned out there was NOT.
1. Deposit prior to site visit -which I do understand why this is done.
2. The batteries used state only a 7 year guarantee on manufacturers site but if you register with them, which I have done and it works,it becomes a 10 year warranty. Hope this helps.

Highly recommend this company, don’t waste your time with others! From start to finish the communication was excellent and the lads who fitted our panels and batteries were fantastic. Professional and polite throughout, giving me full confidence in the product and their knowledge of the solar industry. So pleased with the efficiency of my system and the service provided. Just had a very good experience with Solartherm uk. because of our roof layout, they gave us several options, explaining pro's and cons of each one. The personal approach, good advice, and friendly manner tipped the scales for us highly recommend.

Totally recommend them!!! Lily and her team are so friendly and professional. I knew very little about solar panels and batteries and how it all worked but Lily took the time to explain and provided me with quotes, with no pressure to proceed. I asked many questions along the way and all were answered professionally and quickly. There was no pressure to purchase at all. I did check out other firms but found SolarTherm, easy to deal with, good on price, clear on the process and what would happen and they made it friendly. Mark came over to do the survey and was again professional and friendly and answered any worries i had. The chaps who put the scaffolding up, were on time and friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Then the guys who came to fit the panels and the batteries, were on time, friendly and made no mess. When they arrived they explained what was going to happen and communication throughout the day was great. They set the app up for me, talked me through how to use it and once completed they tidied up and went. The office staff Lily, Ann, Michelle and Puk are all lovely, easy and friendly to talk to, that you feel you have known them a long time. I have already recommended them to several people. I am please to say that i have already seen savings on my electric bills and i only had them installed in January!!! the panels look excellent too and I love the app, its easy to see when you can make the most of the Solar energy.

We hunted for quotes from several companies, we were given he had sale 1980’s Double glazing style by at least 5 of those approached so I was quite refreshing to use live chat via Solartherm’s website and get our roof measured and an idea on cost with accurate info without a pushy follow up. Next came (at our request) a quote and call from a polite young lady who actually deceased the size of the battery from 9.6kw to 7.2kw due to studying our electricity account.
The install happened last week and I have to say he journey from start to finish has been efficient and overall a good experience. No hesitation to recommend this company at all.

Just had a new solar system installed (11 panels and 2 batteries). Must say I was very impressed by the professionalism and quality of this company. Everything happened as it should have done. All the people from office staff to installers seem to know their subject well and everyone without exception was very pleasant to deal with. No hesitation in recommending them to others and I already have.

An excellent process from the technical review through answering our many queries and then installing the system in a single day. Eleven Solar panels, string connected. A Solis inverter and a WonderLux battery system all very well connected by very experienced electricians. We love the WonderLux App. Great to now be generating our own electricity. Definitely the way to go.

Companies very much depend on the professionalism, dedication and culture of their staff. In this respect I was very impressed from my very first conversation with the sales team where they answered all my questions promptly right through to the installation, commissioning and office support/finance teams.
Everything happened as planned and I was pleasantly surprised how quick it was to install the panels. The team did not stop and there was a professional pride in what they were doing.
I have only just learned that this is a family owned company which might explain the embedded staff culture which is very difficult to replicate with multinationals
