My first venture in to PV installations. I was directed to Solartherm via an advisory website and to be honest I would normally shop around. On this occasion I was confident of a good service and following a trouble free install I can say that the experience was top drawer.
The whole job was completed in less than 6 hours by a fantastic team of 2. Lots of reassurance and advice too.
Thoroughly recommend.

Placed an order for Solar Panels to a residential property. From start to finish received impartial information and excellent customer service with a very comprehensive knowledge of their products and Solar industry , that left me feel reassured as a first time customer to place an order. The team who installed the panels were highly skilled very professional with an eye for detail and customer satisfaction and completed the installation in one day and conducted all relevant tests. Solar Therm came and fitted a new inverter for me about four years ago as the original ones I had fitted were not performing properly, since then I have had some issues with it and each time they have come out and fixed it. Their engineer was superb, in both fixing the fault and explaining to me what had been the issue. I did originally have the panels fitted by a company that ceased trading a short while after the system was fitted, so it was good to find a company willing to take it on for me and to provide me with good customer services and excellent engineers.
The original fault was no issue with Solar Therm, but as the engineer discovered, a builder had managed to nick a cable with his Stanley knife, and after a while the water got in and the electricity shorted out. Not something we would have looked for immediately as we thought it may be the usual Squirrel/Pigeon problem that so many people have.
Having found the fault (Ben) the engineer then re-wired the whole system for me, and it is now working better than ever. Thanks guys.

The installation ran very smoothly, great electrician who talked me through everything. Very competent. Very helpful office staff, I had to change the date for installation and recently wanted some documents which were sent through as I was on the phone. A good experience!

Matt, Benny and Jude from Silvercrest (Solartherm) have just left us after fitting our solar panels, battery and hot water cylinder timer and we wanted to say how impressed we have been with their fantastic work ethics. Everything was slick and smooth, all equipment was protected at each stage of handling. Everything has been fitted in an incredibly professional and competent fashion. All wiring and trunking looks well tied in and tidy. All mess/packaging/debris was tidied up as they went. All 3 guys were courteous and respectful at every stage.

When all works were completed, Matt supported us to set up our monitoring system on our phone/ipad, and explained everything really clearly. He was very reassuring that should we have any concerns, told us not to hesitate to call the Solartherm office.

We couldn't be happier with the fitting process, and the lads who provided it. We wanted to say: "Thankyou ALL for your support throughout the whole process" to the office staff too. Really impressed.

SolarTherm were professional in every way. The initial assessment was (in the way of sales people) enthusiastic! but not overselling or pushy). The site survey was very good, the assessment team suggested a better site arrangement for some of the panels than we had thought about. The installation team showed up and were quick polite and tidy. The "back at base" team have helped me with a somewhat intransigent supply company, many months after the initial installation.

SolarTherm UK did an excellent job and exceeded installation timescales. The required equipment was appropriately assessed for my needs and the whole end to end process was fully explained. The installation team were friendly and worked in a tidy manner. They were happy to answer any of my questions and even fixed some preexisting issues with my flashings and one of my roof tiles at no extra cost. Great price, great service would highly recommend SolarTherm UK.

We had the engineers come out and install some pigeon protection mesh a few days ago, the panels and surrounding roof tiles were covered. Thanks to them we no longer have to worry and finally at peace!!!

Despite the best efforts of this company and its staff we eventually gave up our efforts to secure the voucher for spray foam insulation under the government scheme. When something looks like a good idea beware if an incompetent government department is involved. Every time when we or Solartherm provided information requested they always wanted something different. After 5 months we eventually gave up.

Great service and installation. We had a 4.2kw system installation. No issues and fitted on time.

The energy adviser who came round was friendly and not pushy, He explained what was the best solar system to have and why and made it very easy to understand.The system was installed when they said it would be and was done quickly and efficiently.We know we have the best system on our roof and would highly recommend this Company as everyone from start to finish was excellent.

Unlike many other occasions, it was me who made the intial contact with this company regarding the replacement of Solar PV inverters. I already had 2 similar inverters at my home, and wished to have just the one.
The 'Solaredge' system easily met my needs, and Solartherm's product was ideal for me as one of the 2 arrays at my property was partially shaded at times by trees.
I write this review getting on for a year after the installation, and can vouch for the fact that in the conditions outlined as above, the overall energy generated has increased noticeably in this time.
For those of you reading this review, and who are of a technical type, the previous system had the panels connected in series, meaning that the overall output of the whole array was restricted to that of the lowest performing individual panel.
The Solaredge arrangement has the panels connected in parallel, meaning that each individual panel contributes the maximum that it can, so that there is no 'throttle' to the power being generated.
The online information available provided by the Solaredge system automatically gives a tremendous amount of information - probably more than you'll ever need!
In short, I'm delighted by the system, and I'm now generating more energy from my panels than I was previously.

SolarTherm cold called me stating that all of the inverter manufacturers had clubbed together to pay for them to do a warranty review, as the majority of the original installers were no longer in business, due to the drop off of the feed in tariff rate. I still didn't quite understand why manufacturers would pay for a warranty review. I decided to phone my original installer (Live PV Ltd. Buton-on-Trent, an absolutely outstanding Company) and have a chat. Sure enough, Solartherm where creating a story to get their foot in my door and fill me with all the horrors of why my inverter needed replacing. A number of my installer's customers had already experienced the same type of scam from Solartherm, which confirmed my suspicion. All bookings with Solartherm were cancelled and I thought I would let others know.

Well, what I though would be a bit nerve racking has turned out to be a really good experience. My wife came across Solartherm Uk on Facebook advertising a recent installation of solar panels.
we were fed up with listening to the ups and downs of the feed in tariff`s and wanted to install solar panels to reduce our bills and save the planet blah blah. we have had a monitored system installed, the Solaredge capacitor etc is very high tech, really good group of people from start to finish, we are very happy indeed. not the cheapest quote, but we now realise why. fabulous company, and a genuine recommendation from us!
