A legit Scam

Every artist has people who support them, and in supporting friends are the first! My friends helped me listening to my songs, and till i earned just few dollars everything was ok.

Then i started promoting music (investing money) and i saw earnings growing up, like houndreds of dollars, but these scammers locked my account telling me about fraudulent streaming.

So why you tell me about fraudulent streaming after 9 months, after i started earning good money? Why not closing my account when i asked my friends to help?

You closed my account because you want to steal money from artists, that is why! you are scammers and someone should stop you!

RUN AWAY NOW!!!

Transitioned from loudr to soundrop, and the experience is 0. I’ve only received 46cents in 2 years of streaming. When I asked for my music to be taken down they only report Deezer and Amazon. Complete waste of time!!!!!!!!

I have dealt with a lot of…

I have dealt with a lot of distributors.
I'll admit, in some cases I used services that inflate your streaming numbers.
BUT there is a BIG difference in how different distributors handle these situations.

You see, in these situations, distributors will STILL receive money from i.e. Spotify for ALL streams except those considered fraudulent.

Distributor receives the part of the money for non-fraudulent streams - and an HONEST distributor pays out that money to the artist. A DISHONEST distributor like Soundrop (and a few others I won't mention) KEEP ALL THE MONEY they receive from Spotify TO THEMSELVES.

If you had 1000 $ of royalties accrued; and 50$ of those were done by an illegal promotion company - that's still 950$ that Spotify pays out to you.

And of course - what does Soundrop do - they KEEP the 950$ for themselves

This way they can accumulate a huge amount of money that belongs to the artists.

This is a completely dishonest practice and someone should call them out for it - the amount of money they can accumulate like this might even make this an interesting case for entertainment lawyers that work on a percentage.

Excellent Service!

I've started using Sounddrop to distribute my songs, and yes I do like it! My 1 song is gonna be sent after I send this review.
Who cares if its gonna be late. All it matters that its gonna be released soon. All these bad negative reviews make me sick. People will hate your service but I dont. I found no flaws in the website. Idc if you get a 15$ paycut, and idc if I have to charge like 2 bucks. And yes they do have a couple of streaming services but they're all the ones that we use!

Very open and helpful service

I love Soundrop so far, I am just waiting for my distribution. It's only been a couple hours. I cannot wait, I really love the service they offer. I honestly don't care about the profits I just want my music to be shared on everything.

Everything worked fine until i earned above 1k and they locked my account.

I want to share my honest experience with this music distributor.

I've been using Soundrop for several months now, uploading my original content and music through their platform without problems, every month i got payed what i really earned and everything worked as expected, distribution and payments were really fast.

Two days ago, i received May's statement, my earnings were a bit higher this time, but i didn't receive the payment, so i was a bit curious about this and decided to log in to see what happened... so i wrote my credentials and a message was displayed telling me that "my account is locked" or that i am "not authorized to access the resource". Things got worse at the moment i received emails from them telling me that my music was removed from all services...

I really don't understand why this happened, i have been honest every time and never committed fraud, it seems that earning a little bit of money it's fine but when your balance is above $1K some strange things happens...

I emailed them but i got no response. I really appreciate if they can see this review and give me a response, i put a lot of effort trying to get good recordings and sharing my music through the world.

Technical issue kill my experience

Don't know if anyone had face a problem like me, but guess what? They locked my account right after I registered :)

So even if the positive reviews in Trustpilot are true, I cannot even try them because they don't even let me use their services.

Terrible

Terrible.

I'm afraid to say anything about them because of the reprisals. I'd like to remain anonymous and tremble as I write this...

Be very careful if you work with them.

Good luck.

Not serious.

Not serious.

First of all they charge a commission for streaming, except for artists who are just starting out and do not generate income, it is not profitable.

In the contract they expose: "Soundrop reserves the right to refuse your content for any reason". Repeat: For ANY reason.

Any content that a record label uploads can be deleted in one fell swoop, destroying not just one artist's trajectory, but everyone's trajectory, as well as the record label's own reputation.

Don't say that you weren't warned, there are much better alternatives, especially paid ones, on the market.

Best customer service

Best customer service and very fair model for cover songs!
I transitioned from Loudr to Soundrop and while the transition was rough at first, Soundrop finally solved a lot of problems Loudr had. Distribution is really fast and the the team is the most communicative I've ever seen.

As far as negative reviews go, many of them come from scammers trying to exploit the system with copyright infringement and streaming abuse, as well as people coming over from WIX music that are having problems. Really sorry for the latter, but transitions are never easy. Everything will get fixed eventually, because Soundrop is a reliable company and they always fix any problems that might occur.

Unfortunately when we were bringing over the Wix content we found a bunch of problematic content that Wix hadn't caught, so we couldn't bring over that content, and all those people are just leaving bad reviews for us here.

Anyone who really wants to know what we're about should head over to https://twitter.com/soundrop and join the conversation!

THEY STEAL YOUR MUSIC

THEY STEAL YOUR MUSIC. This is a scam. You have no control over your own content. Support does not respond to requests. The website doesn't work properly. I never would have used it if my web host Wix didn't get rid of music distribution and basically force me to use this. I have to reach out to my lawyer to seek options.
