A sign of a good company is what they do when things go wrong not when things go right. Bought a freezer seal because mine had split and getting bigger as I opened and closed the door. When it arrived I noticed it had a twist in it but tried to fit it anyway because my freezer was forming ice all over- but if a panic really- didn’t want food to defrost and motor running nearly constantly.when fitted I could see it wasn’t a perfect seal but thought it might ease out now it was out the box. Unfortunately it didn’t and ice built up. When asked for an exchange was told because I had fitted it they couldn’t send another but could supply another if I bought another. When I explained I had no choice and disparate they said because I had noticed the damage I should have rang for a replacement and not fitted it. I should have read their terms and conditions- yes, we all do that. After e- mails and phone calls they dismissed all efforts to comprise by meeting them half way.would stay well clear.
Don't believe the prices and stock levels on the website
I should have read reviews before ordering. Like others here, I placed an order for two items that were listed in stock. I received and order confirmation and the payment was taken, and then shortly after received an email saying that the cost had risen due to price rises from the manufacturer. Clearly the items were not in stock and this appears to be a regular occurrence. In their favour the communication was quick and when I cancelled the order and requested a refund it was processed promptly.

I have now been waiting on a refund from this company for nearly three weeks. I have emailed them 3 times. The first response said it would be processed within 7 days. The second response said my refund would be processed within 14 days. I am awaiting a response from my third email.
They acknowledge that they have received the part back from me, but are not processing the refund.

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They have horrible communication and the process of shipment is awful. They do not stand behind their commitment. Stay away and order from somewhere else.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Order a handle for my washing machine last week as next day delivery and it still hasn’t arrived, I’ve not been able to do washing in my own home due to this. I’ve called them countless times and every time the operator says they are ‘busy dealing with other customers’, I have left voice messages aswell and I haven’t heard off them once and haven’t even received an email to confirm the dispatch details of the part. Very unprofessional and will not ever be using again.

SHOCKING SHOCKING SHOCKING - please DO NOT get lured in by the fake good reviews. I ordered a freezer draw panel and realised I put the wrong address on my order (simple mistake) - I then rang to rectify the issue and after 37 phone calls and 4 emails I have not managed to get hold of them. I have now accepted that I've just lost £28.

I have contacted this company on many occasions but always get we are busy leave a message but never receive a callback, sent an email last week no response from that either.
I ordered 2 knobs for my cooker they sent one in silver and one in black so need to return the wrong one. but I am unable to agree on the return due to no communication at all.
Trade with this company with caution, there is definitely an issue here, I went directly to Hotpoint and have had the correct part delivered today for the same price.
Poor Website Service
I ordered a washing machine door and glass which the website said was 'in stock'. So I paid for next day delivery. ((order 251393).
Got an email back, which I saw few hours later saying they didn't have the part and no idea when it would be in stock.
So the website isn't working as it should. This doesn't happen at Argos or Amazon, they know how much stock they have.
Please don't waste my time, please don't take my money for parts you don't have.
Refund came three days later.

No reservation about using spares group uk again. The process was easy and painless. Ordered the part on Thursday and delivered Saturday. I spoke with a friendly customer services lady. She sent through pictures for me to decide which I item I needed to order. Exactly what I wanted. Would definitely use again.
Terrible service - I will not use them in future!
I needed parts for a Hotpoint oven urgently. The website stated that they were in stock. Having ordered, I received an e mail confirming the order. Later that day, I was sent an e mail which unfortunately I did not read until the next day. It stated that the parts ordered were not now available but that new similar parts could be provided at an additional cost. I spoke to Natalie who effectively blamed the supplier and could not guarantee next day delivery.No hint of an apology. I felt that they couldn't care less.My options were to pay the extra or cancel the order; I did the latter. I subsequently spoke to a very helpful supplier in Birmingham who were superb. Just like the numerous other earlier comments on SparesGroup UK, my advice would be to give them a wide berth.

They took payment, confirmed order then emailed next morning to say "With regards to the above order, unfortunatley this part is no longer available, manufacture have now changed this part, at a more expensive price, if you wish to continue we would require a further £34.02, please contact the office on 01489 782492 to clarify how you would like to proceed?". IT IS MEANT TO BE A GENUINE HOTPOINT SPARE! No answer when you telephone! Machine says that they will get back to you - when??? THEY ARE STILL LISTING THE PART AT THE OLD PRICE - Scamming searches??

Avoid...poor service, poor delivery and poor communication
Ordered washing machine belt online on Sunday. Its states 'usually dispatched within 24 hours using Royal Mail'. It is reasonable to assume that being a small item, it could be posted in an envelope and it would be dispatched within 24 hours as it was shown 'in stock'. Tried calling all day the following Wednesday but no answer. Had a reply to my email 'Your order was placed on standard delivery and usually arrives within 5 working days of dispatch although this can occasionally take slightly longer. Unfortunately we cannot give a specific date'. In other words they can't tell me if it has been dispatched or a delivery date. Tried to cancel but they have stated I cannot cancel because the order has been 'processed'....note it has not been dispatched, just processed, whatever that means! I just hope that people do their homework and look at the many complaints about this company. My advice is avoid at all costs, seriously. Sparesgroupuk is a poor excuse for a properly run business that sells over the internet. Try calling the number; that should give you an idea! Hopefully when internet business disappears, the person in charge may do something about the pitiful service. The website is just deceiving and will be reported to trading standards.UPDATE: received the item on Friday (5 working days). Why cant they just be up front? Why state 'dispatched within 24 hours'? Misleading and annoying for not answering the phone...ever. Sticking to 1 star for bad customer service and misleading website.

Going the extra mile and then some
I needed to purchase two drawer fronts for a freezer. Unfortunately the information I had was not correct and I had to return them. Sparesgroup UK went to very considerable lengths to identify the correct items for me. I paid them the difference on Tuesday and the parts arrived this morning. That is what I call service and particularly so during the run-up to Christmas.
AVOID - AVOID - AVOID
Ordered a belt for my Hotpoint tumble dryer of which i paid £9.24 plus £2.95 p&p. Took a week for it to arrive but unfortunately i didn't need a belt I needed a Jockey Wheel. I phoned them but i was on their website as well and enquired about the part. She told me the price was £17 plus £2.95 p&p but on the website it was £11 plus p&p. When i questioned this she said that the prices were increasing that day and i should refresh my webpage. For the refund i needed to send the part back signature required which costs me £4.40. I have indeed received a partial refund of £9.24 and when I phone them nobody answers. So i'm out of pocket £7.35 for a £9.24 part. As it turns out they have increased all their products by 55% overnight!! Please please please don't use them go to the main dealers of your appliance it may well be cheaper!!!!

I ordered some water filters and shelves. They duly arrived but the door shelves were wrong. By email I was given a part number which I understood to be correct. It wasn't. They have not yet sent me a prepaid returns address label and so I have 4 shelves that I cannot use. Don't try to phone. you won't get through.
