I had damaged my fave specs which are transition lensed, and wanted them reglazed, but whilst looking at the site also decided to treat myself to a new pair.
I sent the old pair on Thursday, and ordered the new ones same day, emailing my prescription.
By Monday I received both specs. the new ones are gorgeous, and my faves just as good as new.
Communication with this company is excellent throughout, and prices are very reasonable.
Equally the quality of their specs has always been good.

Ordered 2 pairs of glasses bad quality arms coming loose ,lost a screw,I then messaged them about it was told that was very unusual felt unbelieved asked to send back but to be honest I wouldn't want them back.

Amazing company , ordered Weds 2pm and delivered Friday 9.30am .
Specs are beautiful , perfect and half the price of my optician quote .

I sent three frames for reglazing including one for tinted sunglasses.
Outstanding communication from Linsey and extremely helpful too.
The quality of the "grinding" of the lenses to fit the frames was superb, very neat and smooth. My sunglasses' colour tint was matched perfectly, just as I had asked for.
My order was turned around in a matter of hours and shipped back to me the same day.
Specs-By-Post is an effortless service to use, Linsey checks everything and will mention any anomalies she has picked up, when she rings to take the card payment. Lindsey explains everything in non technical language.
I have used Specs-By-Post several times in previous years and I have never been disappointed.
Their prices for reglazing are good value too.

I have been using this company for several years now always spot on with your glasses and always a very good price also a very quick turnaround with the glasses within a few days and Linsey always keeps you informed about the status of your glasses I always have 2 pairs as they are so very very good I would highly recommend using this brilliant company.

Glasses arrived promptly and are of great quality. Having worn Silhouette rimless varifocals for years, I was nervous that the cheaper ones wouldn’t match up. However, am delighted and the company is highly recommended

5 stars - absolute understatement.

April 23rd: I filled out the relevant form found on the website and sent it along with my glasses via Royal Mail First Class which costed me around £4.90 or so.

April 24th: I received a phone call from Linsey informing me that they had received my glasses (woohoo) and that they were now in a position to take payment from me via debit card which I was happy to do. Once I made the payment, I received an email confirmation of this which I always appreciate receiving without having to ask.

April 26th: I received a phone a call from Linsey informing me that my glasses were ready to be shipped back out to me - only 2 days after they received them!

April 27th: I received my glasses and was happy as larry.

Absolutely amazed by the service, communication and care. A first time customer but now a life long member.

If any of you out there are on the fence please do not be. Many many companies out there could learn a thing or two from these guys. Superb.

Excellent specs with excellent service. I received them in a decent time frame and they are very comfortable to wear and lightweight.

I ordered another pair at the same time from a different company. 3 weeks later and I still haven't received them. Ordinary prescription. If I had known the time it would have taken I would have thought twice. Specs by Post is definitely recommended. This is my second pair that I have bought over the years and I will consider them again before the other ones.

Fantastic company and lovely customer service. I live in the village and I was happy to pick them up but they delivered to me WITHIN AN HOUR!!!!!! couldn’t recommend them more. I will always keep coming back here.

This is a great place to buy your specs, I have been using them for a number of years and never had any issues or problems. Much cheaper than buying specs from a high street opticians, and always excellent quality. Recommended.

This is the second time I have placed an order with Specs-By-Post and I am very pleased with their service again. The speed and quality of their lens and glasses are the best. I placed my latest order after 5pm on Tuesday after having an eye test and a new prescription during the day. Lindsey phoned me straight away to confirm that they had received an email copy of the new prescription. The next day, (Wednesday) I received confirmation that my new glasses had been dispatched and today (Thursday) I received the glasses in the post. Brilliant and excellent service, I shall certainly use Specs-By-Post again. In fact my wife is due an eye test soon and if she requires a new prescription she will also be ordering a new pair of Varifocals from Specs-By-Post.

I have had several pairs from this company. The lastest pair arrived a day and a half after ordering - amazing!

Linsey was amazing I completely messed up on my order straight away I had a phone call and my prescription was corrected. I highly recommend this family business and I will be ordering definitely again!!

I sent for a pair of glasses but to my fault I put the wrong perception down ,so i had my eyes tested and sent s.b.p.a copy off my new one,I 2pairs made they where perfect i only paid £19.50 per pair my friend he had just paid £130for his that eas almost the same .I would recommend specs by post to anybody.

I orded by phone and spoke to a lovely lady, who sorted it all for me. Next day they arrived, how's that for service!! The glasses I choose fit perfect, but most of all, the prescription was spot on. I've used another company who states they do the same, but I can't see a thing out of them.
So thank you to a company that does what it says it will and the cost is amazingly low for such quality products.

Reglazing a good pair of old frames is economically prudent. I came across Specs-by-Post in Rotherham who were excellent in every respect. I initially sent them one frame and it was posted] back to me within 48 hours . The price was very fair and the workmanship was faultless. So my wife and I had three more pairs reglazed.
Linsey and her husband were a pleasure to do business with. The whole experience was first class even going so far as to check and tighten the rest of the screws and cleaning the frames

Probably the best UK based online spectacles website out there. I bought a pair of bi-focals from them a year ago and I've just bought a second pair of the same glasses I was so happy with them. A screw had come loose on the hinge on my original pair and after my own bodge attempts at fixing them I lost the screw. Hands up all my fault. Spec-by-Post fixed them for just the postage charge. Excellent service which well deserves 5 stars. Linsey was my main point of contact via email and she is a credit to the company she represents. Prompt and courteous replies to my emails.
Keep up the good work Linsey and the team at Specs-by-Post. I shall continue to use your company for my glasses and I recommend your firm to my friends and work colleagues.

The reviews on here are amongst the most glowing I have read for any company. I'm going to add one more, it deserves it. This company is a find, cheap, fast and efficient and Linsey is an absolute delight.
