First time buying from them
First time buying from them, was a bit skeptical trying something new (I always am) but honestly great customer service everything arrived on time and safely packaged. No scuffs on the boxes of the transformers everything was perfect. Also they sent me a free Transformers 4 movie DVD set on the house so I do appreciate that! Definitely coming back here to order really recommend them they are a trust worthy company.

Awesome service!! I've had a few items from here and on the last occasion, I ordered the wrong item by mistake. I asked them could they just switch it over, I was told its not something they normally do but on this occasion they would. I found that very accommodating as it was actually my fault I ordered the wrong item. Highly recommend them and I've never had any trouble. Well packed items,at a great p&p price too

I had to return a defective product.
I had to return a defective product.
I asked for a return shipping slip which they refused, as defective paint isn’t seen as a defect by SAF. A defect is a defect.
I paid return postage, at my own cost.
Also had to chase the refund a week after the defective item was returned to SAF.
Edited to his reply. Completely unhinged.
Edit: 27th of July. He tried to charge me for an order that HE cancelled?!?!?!?!?!

Out of nearly 60 shipped orders, the first time there is a slight issue you open an account on a review site and leave a 1 star review.
Thanks. Notice you do not believe in your review enough to leave your real name Stephen, but as we have the Facebook exchange screenshot, we will unhide that or just post a copy of it to show just how unreasonable you are. Please will see (who as you so nicely out it) is unhinged here.
For the record I think the customer is more annoyed that we do not keep spares in case he has an issue somewhere down the line. Nearly half a millions orders later, I have never heard this complaint before.
But in an email he said and I quote "If you can’t guarantee a replacement on a pre-ordered item (that is sold out), then I will pre-order elsewhere in future."
When we called his bluff and said we are to happy to cancel your orders, he asked us to leave them, so that's how strong he feels against us. Another keyboard warrior who is upset his toys was not 100% perfect and wants to take his anger issues out on someone. But regardless I will cancel your other 15 outstanding preorders you still have with us so you can order them elsewhere because as you state, because we cannot guarantee we will have spares on sold out items day/weeks/months after release. We are a store who sells toys, not a library that hordes them.
To answer his points, a defective paint job is a defective paint job to you. I have refuded his return shipping in the hope it takes some of his anger issues away, and to grant him a little "win" in his life.
We will happily pay to return items for major paint issues, but we state, like most other sites state that we will not pay return postage for slight blemishes/issues on mass produced toys, but in this case I have to bring some much needed joy to his day. But bear in mind, if you want a refund for an unwanted item, most sites say you need to pay return postage.
Also there is no need to chase for a refund, as we have (and quote ) up to 14 days by law to issue one.
But I think his main issue is he was banned from our Facebook page for being rude and sarcastic. He posted a very strange comment on a post that was picked up on, and it took 4 replies to get the "clear" issue out of him, before he went onto lecture us how to do business (as I say nearly half a million orders, and I have never heard his complaint before) that we do not hold spare stock after it sells out for a unmentioned length of time.
He went on to be sarcastic, condescending and rude, to the point I actually hid his post and banned him from the page to save him from embarrassment.
Any regular readers will know, it takes a lot to get blocked from our Facebook page, as I generally leave peoples posts like this online, to show people what we have to put up with. I allow them to embarrass themselves and its something to refer back to in future, but in this case I felt I had to hide it and block him, and if you see some of our saddest trolls we have on social media, you will know that took some doing to be blocked from the page!!!

Cannot recommend more. Always fast shipping, good prices, even old figures that have tripled in value often pop up at retail price, always incredible deals on often new figures. Customer service is incredibly fast in my case (responded to an order cancellation within minutes). Unrivaled in my opinion for any black series/star wars collectors.

One of the best UK toy retailers!
I've used SAF over a dozen times and have never had a single issue with them. Good prices, good service, fast shipping, and well-packaged. This company was my go-to company for G.I. Joe Classified figures, before Hasbro screwed them, and the rest of Europe, over. I'm hoping they're able to get a reliable supplier for the Classified line, at some point, because I refuse to buy direct from Hasbro Pulse, if this is how they're going to treat UK online retailers.

Excellent customer service
Bought a set of figures from this company for the first time and i'm really impressed. The delivery was fast, the packaging secure and protective but most of all excellent customer service. I had an issue with one of the items which was not their fault, purely manufacturing, but they sent me a replacement at no extra cost. Will definitely use again.
