Excellent! My favourite format of convention
I've been to both Star Trek Warp events and loved them! They're way more chill than your average convention. Once you get how it works, it's a super relaxed and friendly con. The staff are really helpful, and there's a good mix of guests. I'm definitely going again!
WARP 2
WARP 2
Very well organised. Staff and volunteers were all brilliant. Went to the talks, some of them were hilarious. Met loads of people and have loads of new friends.
The highlight for me has to be the parties. Dancing and drinking till 2am.
Loved every minute of it
We had an amazing weekend at warp 2
We had an amazing weekend at warp 2. The event was very well organised with very friendly staff and volunteers.
We made some new friends at the event and caught up with some past friends.
Warp 2 was so nice and relaxed no rushing about to get photo ops or autographs. So much better than other conventions. The quest panels were brilliant to listen to. Thank you to the main hall team who set up accessible are for my wife. Thank you to Sean Harry for putting on the convention and hope for many more warp (Star trek) conventions in the future.

Family I've chosen
I've been going to Starfury since the 90s. These are the best cons I've done. Few guests means you can have a weekend spent with friends socialising and still meet some of the actors from shows. The parties in the evening make it so much better, we've even had guests join us in the parties. I've got friends that I made through these cons, and I've known them for more than 20 years. It feels like home when I'm there. Please don't listen to the haters.
Awesome weekend at Warp 2
Just back from Starfury Warp 2 and what an experience it’s been. Really well run, great guests and a level of interaction with them all weekend that you just don’t get from other types of signing shows. I’ve done these hotel style weekend events for many years but this was only my third Starfury event as they’ve only recently started catering to fandoms I’m passionate about. I’ve nothing but praise for everything about the way they’re run. The pricing is amazing - the entry ticket is for all 3 days, includes all the panels and autographs with several of the guests with the chance to buy additional autos if you want to meet everyone there and the prices of autos and photos often blows other events away like for like. The staff can’t do enough to help you. The activities are well paced and with a real emphasis on community - if you go on your own you won’t be alone for long (unless you particularly wanted to be!) as everyone is so friendly and inclusive. I’ve seen others criticise the hotel/weekend style of the event but frankly I just don’t understand why you’d buy a ticket to an event you don’t like the style of and then moan about it. Seems really disingenuous to me. These aren’t signing shows so if that’s what you’re looking for then probably best to stay away. Otherwise it’s like going to see Barry Manilow in concert and then complaining it wasn’t like Take That.
It’s been a long road… fab con!
This was my first starfury con since 2007! I loved them back in the day & when I knew that they were putting on a Star Trek con, I was fully back in. Unfortunately I couldn’t come to warp 1 due to it being the weekend before my wedding, so I was even more keen to come to warp 2.
It really didn’t disappoint. The guests were amazing, the vibe was incredible & all of the staff were so helpful.
I loved the hotel too - great location.
Will definitely come to another warp con, if we’re lucky enough to get one.
Absolutely banging!

Warp 2 was my 3rd Starfury with my adult daughter and we had a fantastic time at all of them. The guests, while not "stars" were so amusing and entertaining. My daughter sat in on every Q&A, I missed 2 because I was still tired from the party the previous night !!! We dont go for the autographs or the photographs but we have a great time without them. Please do a Warp 3, in the meantime we'll see some of you at Ascension. I might have learnt the line dances by then
Warp 2 is my first starfury event
Warp 2 is my first starfury event. The whole weekend was amazing. Great guests, great talks and the people attending are all welcoming! Did have a little mix up as ive never been before and dont check social media while im at events. But the Autographs are split on the days in two rounds for gold and regular tickets but didn't mention in the schedule or email and just had the schedule which i presumed was just anyone both days and i was painted blue on the Saturday so planned to get all done on sunday so i didn't get paint on anything. 😅 But the staff were very accommodating and managed to sort out once I approached them and explained.
The hotel was a perfect layout for the convention and plenty of places to sit and lounge to talk to friends.
Im hoping there will be another event in the future.
We had a great time at Warp 2
We had a great time at Warp 2! The guests were lovely, entertaining and hilarious. It was really well organised and the stewards were friendly and helpful. The Renaissance hotel is a great venue, plenty of space to socialise and places to sit and relax. I really hope we get a Warp 3!!

Warp 2 - Fantastic Star Trek event!
Warp 2 was my first Starfury event. I have been attending other Star Trek events and comic cons for years, and I can honestly say this really impressed me. It was really well organised, the staff were so helpful, the format of the event was fantastic (photos in the morning, followed by autograph sessions and then Q&As), the Renaissance hotel at Heathrow was a lovely venue to hold it in, the hotel room I shared with my friend was great. Shout out to the trade stall outside the main hall who sold me some nice goodies. The cosplay parade was really fun! The guests all seemed to be genuinely impressed with the organisation and and how well they had been looked after. The closing ceremony was especially lovely, because it really felt like a celebration of the weekend we'd had with the guests and our Trek community, there was a great focus on thanking all the people that had helped to make the weekend possible and it didn't just feel like an exercise in selling tickets for the next con (like other closing ceremonies at other events tend to be!). Overall, fantastic. Would highly recommend. I really hope there can be a Warp 3 at some point :)
Ww attended warp 1 and warp 2
We attended warp 1 and warp 2 - both were excellent star trek conventions with a good selection of stars from across the 90s and modern trek.
As a hotel con, it is a bit different to a comic con so be aware of that. It suits us though as our main focus is on the guests. Their method ensures you get all your autos/photos across the two days and are still able to see at least 1 panel by each guest.
The fan meets are a truly special experience with the guests.
All the staff and volunteers are very helpful and friendly and the atomosphere is great. Please do Warp 3!

This is just a warning to others who leave 1 star reviews!
The format of this con is outdated!
I attended the event Warp 2 this weekend with my family! the set up is just wrong!
There is nothing to do apart from watch talks, get a photo or get a autograph! no traders no activities nothing! also the location of the hotel makes it really expensive to got to and stay at! more for families!
How other cons do autographs is the guests are sat at their tables most of the day and you can just walk up whenever you wanted to get things signed!
Starfury does it by batch number! so if you wanted to watch a talk and your number batch is called you have to miss the talk or walk out of it in the middle of it!
There are to many gaps between talks/photo/autos, where the only thing attendees can do is talk or go have food! if there was a room with traders or movie props like the Enterprise bridge or even a games room with consoles for kids! that would have the con be 100 times better!
The disco starts way to late 9pm is late if you have kids! 8pm would be better, and that's if it started on time as the Saturdays one started around 9.30pm due to the poor timing of the cosplay compo!
The price of the ticket is extortionate £135, yes you get access to the parties, and the autos are included for the regular guests but what if you did not want anything signed you should be able to buy that separate and not be forced to as part of the ticker price!
All the Q&A Sessions and the Opening/Closing Ceremony should be free anyway not part of the ticket price.
There should be an option to buy 3 day, weekend, or just a day ticket! that would be so much better for people who can't afford a hotel in london or £135 ticket price is a lor for some people!!
The hotel itself is in a very poor location for what you get! yes there is a Mcdonald's and some other pubs that's it, the hilton at the NEC is way better as its central and if there are gaps you can wander off to Resorts world! plus the hilton at the NEC have more room!
If you have kids this event is not for them! as there is nothing for them to do! good thing for tablets to keep kids occupied!
The format of the event needs looking at!!!! it may have worked in the olden days but it don't now!
I don't think I will be coming back if its held in London!
Had another great weekend at Warp 2
Had another great weekend at Warp 2
Catching up with friends and making new ones.
Starfury warp are one of the few conventions that include all the guest talks, quite a few autographs and the evening parties all in the price of a ticket.
That plus the friendly Starfury crew is what makes it a great value convention for me.
Hopefully there will a Warp 3 or I can make the one of their other conventions.
Starfury Warp 2 Review.
I’ve just completed my second Starfury event with Warp 2 (my first was Warp 1 — only logical, of course).
I have to give a huge shoutout to Sean and the entire team for putting together such an incredible event. Everyone was organised, helpful, polite, and professional throughout. These events feel far more intimate and relaxed than the huge conventions, and it’s obvious from the interactions between the actors and attendees that the connection is genuine, warm, and appreciated by everyone involved.
I also think the Starfury team made the best possible use of the available space. I know many people volunteer their time to help run these events, including the stewarding team, purely because of their passion for the show and their commitment to making sure everyone has the best experience possible — so a big thank you to them as well.
As for the lineup, it was simply incredible. Every single actor brought their A-game and was brilliant. Bob and JG were absolutely epic — I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much at a convention. Armin and Kitty were wonderful too, and shared some amazing stories. Huge thanks to them as well.
Honestly, it felt like the guests were having just as much fun as the attendees, and I sincerely hope the Starfury team realise how much love there is for this franchise, and how appreciated these events are. They’ve done an amazing job with both events so far.
Bring on Warp 3.
Wonderful Warp2
From the opening Friday evening for registration to the closing ceremony Starfury Warp2 delivered excellence and a wonderful level of customer service.
The event makes sure your day is filled with things to do and the staff and stewards couldn't do enough to make sure the experience was a joyful and fulfilling one.
The staff and management are always visible and available and ready to help should any issues arise.
The whole vibe of the event is one of relaxation for both the guests and attendees .
I would highly recommend Starfury for a more personal con experience
We loved the experience of Warp 2 (and…
We loved the experience of Warp 2 (and its predecessor warp 1)
Personally I’m a fan on conventions that really focus on the stars of the show, give the opportunity to meet and hang out with fellow fans and provide a really inclusive and warm atmosphere.
Yes there could be more activities to fill the gaps, yes there could be more merch (though tbh I’d probably get told off for buying more trek stuff) but if you plan your days, enjoy the atmosphere and just embrace that you are at a con..
The parties are a little late for kids, but our 8 year old loves them and we aren’t the last standing on the dance floor.. but watching him chatting to fellow fans, making friends and then being greeted the following day was amazing (though his mum less impressed by being described as Edward’s mum for the rest of the weekend)
I’d love to see Warp 3, for me this is the epitome of what a Star Trek Con should be..
Again I have had a real good experience…
Again I have had a real good experience with Starfury Conventions. Everything for me seemed to run smoothly and never had an issue. Sean always engages with attendees and always makes everyone feel welcome. I understand that running events can be a challenge but the team seem to be ace at doing so. And with getting a autograph with some of the guests included with entry tickets as well as entry to all talks and parties it's pretty good.
Keep up the good work everyone
Had a fantastic time
Had a fantastic time with this convention company, it's run in a hotel and was so much more comfortable for me then the big comic cons as in was just for the show that I wonted to see instead of being overwhelmed by the choose the staff and the autograph team were amazing when I had an issue and the photos ran so smoothly will definitely be back
