Worst experience ordering online in years

Wish I had read all these reviews before using this company. Not only did my stickers arrive too late for me to use them, but the customer service was truly awful and rude.

I had to create an account on their website just to be able to contact them when my stickers didn't show. When I did, I received a message refusing to refund me and denying any responsibility or showing any remorse for not doing the job on time, if anything they were rude and suggested it was my fault!!

Stop taking too many orders if you can't provide good service. It's not rocket science!

DO NOT USE if you need these stickers by a certain time or enjoy good quality customer service.

I feel that Sticky things customer service is very unprofessional

I don't normally leave reviews on businesses, but i feel I have had no choice but to leave one for Sticky Things.

I have been using them for at least 2 - 3 years now, and i have always been so impressed with print times and delivery and most importantly print quality.

I placed an order just around 2 weeks ago now. Lats week I spoke to a member of the customer services team to ask when my order would arrive as it seemed a longer time than normal, I also mentioned print times ect and said that i needed the stickers for Saturday and print production/orders seemed to have really slowed down so i may have to go else where in the future. I spoke to a guy called Matt. Who was very rude to me and upset me to be honest. He mentioned Covid being the main issue to the business struggling to cope with orders as they are so busy. He mentioned a few other things regarding Covid (which btw we have moved forward with now), and they were not very mindful at all. I found his comments very unprofessional and rude, and i was quite shocked he kept bringing up covid when all I wanted to know was if my order would arrive.

This will be my last order with them moving forward which I'm sad to say as their print quality is amazing, but for me customer service is everything and feel its put me off ever using them again.

Because you have given a completely false representation of the situation, we have decided to refund your order in full, despite it already being printed and us losing money on the order. You can go elsewhere sooner rather than later and pay a higher premium for your labels.

17 orders to date, not one positive review left previously. We get really busy and have a delayed turnaround for a short while and you give us. 2* review despite stating the quality of product is excellent. How is that for loyalty?

Try going elsewhere and tell those businesses that Covid shouldn't have affected their business, when they've lost staff, lost finances and won't recover for probably a decade. Complete ignorance.

Very Poor Communication and Delays

Please read reviews before placing an order. Avoid this company until they can prove they deserve business.

I have been a long time customer of StickyThings but more recently the communication from this company is terrible. I placed my order a month ago and have only received it today. It took them 20 WORKING days to deliver this order. I understand this company is made of a small team but there needs to be a sense of responsibility and communication if there are going to be delays and at least respond to their customers. I had contacted this company numerous times and eventually gave up. Having read the reviews below make total sense from the customers that have been upset. I have also noticed that the company responds to reviews more quickly than their emails / messages. Luckily I received my order today otherwise this would have been a case to raise with PayPal as I had really run out out of patience.

I am a business owner and below are some times I'd like to give to this company.

TIP 1: Please mention on your website and checkout how long the order will take. A month to dispatch orders and no communication is really a joke.

TIP 2: Having read a lot of responses to the reviews below is very unprofessional and aggressive towards yours customers and this will drive them away. Retaining long term customers is important for all businesses.

TIP 3: If you are struggling to cope with orders existing orders place a hold on your website.

TIP 4: Use an actual email service to communicate with customers than your own ticket system. It's terrible.

AVOID... LATE DELIVERY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & BAD ATTITUDE

Placed an order had no update or response. Order was shown as processing beyond delivery estimated time. Tried to contact three times via the website and telephone number does not work. No response despite being advised 12-24 hour response (website does not mention they do not respond if a weekend). Read reviews and seen you only get a response after opening a PayPal dispute and recieved a response I did get a refund as requested via PayPal but the overall attitude and reply of the email was rude. Long delivery times (I paid for next day delivery) but order is not processed. Company states they have many orders when looking at times on website however if they can't meet the demand of orders in the timescale provided they should advise of this upon ordering. Overall a really bad experience. And expecting a rude and passive aggressive response to this review as I've seen on others. I wouldn't bothering ordering. I have since placed an order with banana print as I knew this order wouldnt be here on time highly recommend they have 24hr turn around on orders and a much better customer service. Stay clear unless of this company.

These negative reviews are getting seriously more and more stupid as time goes on. I'm not going to be pleasant anymore.

Jade ordered some paper labels on our website in the late evening (11:07pm) on the 23rd. It's now the 30th. We've just had a bank holiday weekend.
In terms of time we've had to produce her order from that evening is: 2 full working days before she put in a paypal dispute (which puts money on-hold in our account).

Currently, our approximate turnaround for paper labels is as stated on the page above: 1-3 working days from proof approval. Her labels were due for dispatch today, we have the artwork files processed and ready to go. She however asked for a refund, instead of receiving her labels tomorrow (3 working day turnaround).

I refunded the order in full as requested. Now we receive a 1* review. It really makes us wonder why we do what we do. But we've come to the realisation that it's a small minority that always spoil things for the majority. Jade is another one.

If our prices go up soon, it's going to be because of the extra hassle dealing with people with this entitled modern immature attitude who continue to refuse the read the content on the website before ordering. Then blame those working hard for little money for their ignorance. The time this is wasting is absolutely staggering.

Please to all potential clients, read all the reviews on the website, you'll understand it's small amount of people who just dont read, expect a same day dispatch or who have made mistakes that have issues and leave reviews 100% of the time. Today we dispatched 58 orders, we might if we're lucky receive 1 or 2 reviews from those. The vast majority are completely happy and return time after time. We came in over the bank holiday weekend to ensure orders got printed rather than spending it with the family to be met by this on a Tuesday afternoon.

Why do we bother doing it?

We have produced 122 orders between this review and the one below, to put the negativity into perspective.

Do not use!

Do not use! They do not deliver in the timescale they state on the website and when you reach out for an update, they do not reply. I am still awaiting a response from their support team since 3 days ago despite their promise to respond within 12-24 hours. The order was placed 9 days ago and there has been zero communications from Sticky

Hi Emmy,

We didn't get to your support ticket because you updated it multiple times over a period of days. This changes the priority in our queue, putting it to the back of the queue. Sending us multiple messages for the same issue is only going to add extra labour for us as we have deal with each response. Because you created your ticket on the 22nd, updated on 23rd, again on the 24th and again on the 25th (today). It never had the chance to get to the front of the support queue. We have over 50 support tickets daily to get through, we simply cannot cater for these repeat responses.

We also advise against doing exactly that.

With regards to your order, we dispatched a working day late as we're very busy. However we do clearly state in our turnaround times that are linked to at the checkout that they are a guide only. We simply cannot envisage if a press goes down, staff are sick etc etc. We're a small business offering a decent service at a very good price. To give other potential clients reading this a perspective, between this review and the last negative review, we have produced and dispatched 449 orders. We have only received 1 other review. We roughly receive 1 review for every 500 orders, which is a real shame as it doesn't show how good our service is that we provide. 100% of disgruntled clients typically leave a negative review however, on every review site.

So for a single day over a turnaround that we didn’t ever promise, here we are again with a disgruntled client that leaves a 1 star review. Despite her labels being excellent.

READ THE ROOM. Negative reviews all over

Wow. Lol..
I was angry but now i’m just exhausted to be fair.
•I ordered May 5th. The same day the proofs were sent through, I rejected, due to my typo, I had to upload new artwork. So I did. My fault, obviously.

•It’s now the 17th of May. I’ve messaged about 10 times, Vicky was fast and polite all good. I informed them it’s taking so long I’m literally having a panic attack. I’m close to my deadline, which I’ve told them, and it’s getting closer day by day obviously.

•I had to open a dispute on PayPal to get a refund, cos my messages take about 48 hours for a reply.
•By the way that’s the only time they’ll message you back fast. Open a PayPal case.
•Vicky told me there’s a health emergency so orders are little delayed, she told me this 15th. Fair enough, I totally get it! And I wished them good health. But let your customers know. Maybe put a disclaimer on your site?!

•It’s been nearly 2 weeks and NO ITEMS are in my hand. Anyway, fast refund, but I won’t be returning. I suggest you don’t either. But the ball is in your court. Read the negative reviews because it’s all truth.

We're extremely busy at the moment, so reproofs are taking a little longer than usual. As the artwork you send first time around which we spend time producing proofs for wasn't correct, the clients having proofs the first time round take priority. This was on the schedule for this afternoon, however due to the PayPal dispute causing money to be withheld, causing us extra admin and wasted time, we have decided to refund this in full. I think our reply in your review sums it up perfectly. We’re not Amazon and we’re a small business with a small team. Our newborn daughter was admitted to hospital for a week, something we’d rather keep private rather than put it across the website. That was the emergency. Despite that, we’ve worked overtime to keep jobs going out, mostly on-time. I refunded your order, not because you asked, but because I’m not willing to do work when PayPal has withheld the money.
The delay was borne due to you not supplying correct artwork, we had a backlog of orders to clear and yours was one of them. They are all being cleared by tomorrow morning.
FYI, more staff equates to more expensive labels.

In terms of negativity, 100% of disgruntled clients leave a negative review, only around 1% leave a positive review. We have over 2000 positive 5* reviews across multiple platforms with an excellent rated service. With 26,000+ clients, you’ll always receive negative reviews, even if you’ve completed a good service.

With regards to a disclaimer, we state that delivery times are not promises and that delays can happen, it’s linked to on the checkout page. However 99% of orders are dispatched within 5 working days.

Stay away. I am writing on trust pilot as it may be the only way they will contact me back!

Due to the appalling website, it is near impossible to upload artwork. Every harder to speak to a person. We paid the money and as we found the website too difficult to use, ended up giving up and asked for a refund. This was back in December 2022. We are still trying to deal with Vicki to get the money back. We have now been told that this is not possible and we can get a credit from them. This is unfair as we did not receive stickers from them in the first place. They have told me they are charging me an admin fee for their time. Bless their cotton socks. What about my time.

Slow communication

Slow communication; do not trust that they would deliver ur stickers fast because it took me two weeks to receive a message that they will put my stickers in queue. And there is No Way to reach them, can't email, no number, only a online request form which took them a week to reply. DO NOT USE.

10/10!!

This was our first time ordering from Sticky Things. Delivery was longer than we had hoped, however, it was definitely worth the wait, the quality of the labels are 10/10! We ordered waterproof labels and resin domed labels. We will definitely be repeat ordering and I'll make sure I place the order before we run out next time! Thanks guys.

I needed customised stickers to use 4…

I needed customised stickers to use 4 days from the day of purchase so I paid for next day delivery but received after a week by then it was too late to even use the stickers. There was no one to contact and ask what was going on. Absolute nonsense in my opinion. How do I get refunded and paid for the serious damages caused by your nonchalance? To say I was disgusted is an understatement.
The *aggression and arrogance* towards customers is unbelievable. You shouldn't offer or charge for next day delivery. If you are that transparent as you evilly claim, then it shouldn't also be hard to contact anyone when there is an issue or concern with your service or delivery. Very rude and poor service.
Stickythings is well known for very rude and arrogant responses. You should have no star rating at all.

Here you are again, for the second time leaving a review on another platform because you are very bitter about your own mistake. Throwing accusations and insults, again that are completely false.

As we stated on Reviews.io, (our current review platform) where you left your other negative review, we produced your order within 4 working days. At the time of your order, we had a 2-5 working day turnaround clearly stated.

Because you failed to read the delivery/turnaround information, your expectations were false and now you blame us.

In a large yellow box on all our checkout pages, it mentions about out turnarounds. It also mentions it on the product pages you ordered from. We provided it, you walked straight past. Anyone can check and verify this.

We also have a full support system where you can click to contact us. So to say you couldn’t contact someone is an outright lie.

You assumed that we could produce your custom labels within 6 hours of receiving your order and that they’d be dispatched by DPD on the same day, because we offer a ‘next day courier service’. Your ignorance of the processes involved is not our fault. We clearly mention all about this.

If we’re arrogant and rude for pointing out your own mistake, then so be it. At least we have some integrity. You failed to read the information we clearly provided, it’s that simple. Then it was you who were rude and arrogant in all your communication.

What a society this has become, where people feel they can throw false accusations and lies publicly towards hard working businesses with no retort, then falsely play the victim, at the expense of other that have done no wrong.

I’ve personally had enough of it, as you can tell from my response.

For others reading this, we stopped using Trustpilot due to their expensive service, we now use reviews.io

Trustpilot has become a dumping ground for the minority of disgruntled clients, those with an axe to grind. We produce over 100-200 orders per week, but most happy clients don’t leave a review. Every client with an issue (usually theirs) leaves a bad review on both platforms to try and do as much damage as possible.

Yet we still have an excellent rated service, because these clients are such a small minority of our business.

Very poor experience

Very poor experience. Long story short labels took quite a while to print considering they were very small black and white labels, I could see on their website that my order has been put in a queue and I was trying to get hold of someone to find out when they would be done and to see if I could cancel my order as I needed them urgently and could get them from a different supplier. I kept phoning with no luck and took a few days for someone to reply to my emails. When I asked for a refund within hours my order was done and despatched. When they finally turned up the first page was fine and the rest weren't right with borders not being consistent by being slightly cut off. I then emailed them again to be told its all my fault. I only read what I wanted, i didn't provide the artwork correctly and I am trying to blame them for my own fault. Even started the email with "let me set something straight". I find the whole way I have been spoken to and dealt with has just been completed unprofessional and I will not be going to them again nor would I recommend them to anyone or any business.

Let's be completely transparent shall we.....

The client ordered on the Friday 29th April, 10:20 am.

Emailed us on the 3rd May suggesting that we hadn't met her expectations and we were being fraudulent as she was expecting delivery less than 1 working day after she ordered. At that point in time, we had over 90 orders in front of hers to produce.

After a bank holiday we're usually fairly busy as we have to catch up on the extra day we're not in, makes sense that there will be a slight delay. However, Vicky responded just over 24h later on the 5th at 9:30am in the morning with that effect, plus stating the turnaround is approximately 5 working days. Meanwhile the order was in production.

The client then on the 5th emailed to ask for a full refund, saying they had sourced the labels from another supplier who had turned them around already. She stated that "I'm sure no materials have yet been used." so could we arrange a refund asap, despite us having them in production. She wouldn't let us know the supplier capable of this production speed for her other order (which apparently was cheaper too) despite us asking. We asked for proof as this would have resulted in a full refund being issued. She misunderstood our intentions and said it was cheeky to even ask.

The labels were dispatched on the 5th, as they were ran the previous evening, so no refund was available. The order was received on the 6th by the client, just 4 full working days after the order. Not a bad turnaround for a £15.83 custom product order.

10 days after receiving the labels, the client emails again to ask for a refund. Stating that some of the labels were miss-aligned. The reason for the miss-alignment was due to the client putting a very thin 1mm border on her labels, despite our artwork guidelines stating that we have a safe-border of 2mm due to machine tolerances. The client also didn't supply bleed with the thin border, so again, this further exaggerated the alignment on very small labels. She designed online rather than paying a small fee for and having a professional proof, so it was the clients responsibility to get the artwork correct.

We offered to refund those labels that she was unhappy with as a good will gesture if she sent them back, however she then refused to send them back to us, stating she's not going to waste anymore time arguing, despite us already saying we're happy to do so. Also claiming that she would be expected to wait for a refund for a long time, not something we had said.

I think that is as transparent as we can be on the situation. You simply can't please everyone, especially when they send you less than quality artwork, ask for it to be rushed through beyond your service and want it yesterday.

Amazing company

Amazing company! Ordered twice from Stickythings so far. On the second order, the quality was not great but I contacted them with pictures, they rectified the problem very quickly, offering to re-print 2,000+ labels! Arrived the same week so very grateful!

Thanks for the review!

We accidentally left the print head on its highest mode after printing some thicker window material, hence the less than optimum quality (ink has to travel further so is less accurate).

The thought of sub-quality labels going out the door because of one of our mistakes isn't something we tolerate, so thanks for the heads up and I'm happy you like the reprinted labels.

The most unprofessional team that will…

The most unprofessional team that will not help you, but only blame you.
It was my second order with them. The first time I got some WHITE labels that came out transparent, they can barely read on my products and some round ones that the small writing was illegible on.
Now I needed some other round ones but with new designs. Besides waiting THREE WEEKS for my order, it comes wrong. When I reach out for help and ask them to send these back and print them properly, they tell me it was my fault that is how I aligned them, when they didn’t send me any proof and my design looked perfectly fitted in the screenshot they showed me.
The lack of unprofessionalism is just indescribable. I sadly knew no other website to order from but I will most certainly not order from them ever again. And I do not recommend it to anyone.
A good business would apologize and try to make it right, but no, they will blame you.

The absolute lies coming out of your mouth Hashemi!!

Let's get this straight. You placed an order, which you designed online. On your order you asked us to see if the wording was legible as you thought it was on the small side.

We printed the order and we looked at the text and deemed it unsuitable, so we messaged you to say that if you changed the artwork we'll reprint a different version free of charge.

You waited over a week to get back to us, then said that we should send them to you anyway as you're in a rush for them. So we sent them out.

You then replied to say that the labels didn't look like the last order you had with us and we printed them incorrectly. What was actually the case was that you redesigned your labels and you didn't design them like your last order, you reduced the size.

How any of that is our fault is beyond our comprehension. There seems to be an unwillingness to accept when you've done something incorrect, blaming others for your own issues. Not this time Hashemi.

" A good business will try and make it right" - Yes, hence the offer to change your artwork after we've printing it, before it went out the door.

If it pleases you to lie to the public to get your point across to mitigate your own mistakes, that's up to you, however don't think for a moment we'll accept your outright lies.

Honest service, that's what we offer. Hence this honest reply.

Poor

I ordered and paid for my stickers on 10th February before going on holiday. 2 of my sizes didn't upload for my artwork, so I sent these on my return on 22nd Feb. I then had to chase proofs on 2nd March and they were approved the following day when I was told they were sent to press and would be dispatched in 2-3 working days. I have then chased these a further 5 times with no response to my last 2 support tickets. I asked last week if the stickers that were already printed could be sent to us as we are desperate. I have had no reply and there is no way of escalating my queries. replies have not come within 24 hours and the order status has not been updated since 10th March.
I appreciate there are large quantities and large stickers but I have been told 4 different dates for receiving my stickers and only been updated after chasing when the date has passed.
This is not customer service and taking the huff with every disgruntled customer is no way to run a business.
Please send me the stickers that are ready and have already been paid for in full.

Dear Amy,

Whilst we appreciate your frustration, you have ordered something that is considerably large and it takes time to produce. I'll give you an example; most of our orders consume roughly 1-2 meters of vinyl material at most. These can be expedited quickly. Your order consumes over 80 linear meters alone.

To print that much vinyl at high quality takes days, not hours at 4.4m/h. Because your labels are so large (ie signage), we cannot run them overnight as we do with others to speed up processes, so they have to be produced during working hours so that we can ensure top quality. I'd be sure many other suppliers that use the same equipment and print quality as us would face the same issues. Signage companies would probably have been quicker, but way more expensive and lesser quality.

Vicky has been responding to you to keep you updated as much as we possibly can. However we also have other work to produce at the same time as your order, so the presses have to be shared accordingly.

I can assure you we have been running your order non-stop since approval, it's literally going as fast as possible and has just completed in full today.

We will arrange a pallet courier to collect asap from us, as the order is so large in size it cannot go with our standard courier.

printed the wrong size label in very poor quality and then have ignored every email i have sent them and are unwilling to correspond, many other customers have the same experience the staff attitude is very passive agresive will not deal with them again and will just accept having lost my money by this point.

Was so hesitant to purchase BUT WOW…

Was so hesitant to purchase from Stickythings at first as I thought the price was too good to be true. But OH MY GOD! I have just received the labels I ordered for my essential oil business & I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! I really don't understand what the complaining is about when reading the bad reviews. Labels arrived the next day after being printed, not to mention how cheap they are & the quality really is amazing!!
