…and so the Stormclad saga continues. It has now been one year and four months since Stormclad started our new conservatory – the job is still incomplete. Russ has promised three times to come to our property to sort out the ongoing problems and issues we continue to have. Alison, on the last occasion, promised sincerely that she had booked us into Russ’ diary and said, ‘he’ll be there even if I have to bring him myself’. No emails were received nor phone calls made to let us know Russ would not be arriving. Mark (the director?) when I eventually got through on the phone to Stormclad, assured me that the matter would certainly be dealt with and told me that Russ was in a meeting and that he would call back as soon as he had finished the meeting. Alison, later that same day, told me that Russ had not been in the office at all on that day! Please, please, please do not use this company… they have completely ruined out floor; window panes were placed upside down so created severe leaks; water is still seeping in somehow from the ceiling box plinths and from under the French doors; different coloured white window finishes have been used and several other items are on the list. We need to get this sorted before we can have new flooring replaced (that Stormclad ruined in the first three days of installation) – utter shambles.

13 months after installation we’re still having issues & waiting for the leaks to be fixed! Customer service’s are less than useless, sending out & booking appointments for an engineer when it’s raining, it’s not hard to look at a weather forecast. Still waiting for them to ring for another appointment. DO NOT waste your money on Stormclad!

Pleasant staff, got on with the job and cleared everything up when finished and even put the plant pots back that they had moved. Thank you for a great job.

This is the second time we have used Stormclad in the last twelve months, this time for windows. We could not fault the workmanship of Stewart and Jack, no mess either inside or outside, no decorating for us. The same applies to the conservatory we had built in June this year. We would highly recommend the company and the fitters.

From the original email contact the response was very rapid and someone visited site within 2/3 days. The quote was accepted and again the Surveyor visited site within a reasonable timescale. The job was completed yesterday to everyone's satisfaction. We have been updated at every stage of the process and would have no hesitancy in using this company again.

we have used stormclad on 3 occasions all quality work done,the last time was for a door+window everything was fine apart from the installation day cancelled twice for no glass? but the 2 guys who did the fitting on the day was first class cleaned up and truth be told it was as if the door had always been there, really good job deffo recommend them thanks stormclad

Stormclad came today to fit me a new front door,the tradesmen jack and Stuart was very professional, they was friendly polite and very clean and tidy,the job when finished was excellent and it was 5 out of 5 for me, I will recommend stormed to family and friends as they was very professional from the very beginning to the end

I will not use again, I hope this review helps someone else to spend their money elsewhere. Sales and fitting was decent enough but the proof of any company is the after sales service. Had windows installed ok, one never locked properly and the handle wouldn’t close. Called after install as was told it would “sort itself out” a year later the hinge broke. After calling them 5 times now, it’s not fixed and am being ignored. On the second call someone came out and diagnosed the hinge but “didn’t have one on the van but would order one”, third call said would chase it up, forth and fifth calls have just been ignored. this has been going on over 12 months now. Save yourself some grief and go elsewhere! Last call to them was one week ago - more than enough time for someone to call back.

I will use another company to fix this window and hope the rest of the hinges don’t fail and this is a one off issue.

Faultless service from start to finish and knocked off 6 weeks from the initial install date. Really pleased with the finished door.

Another great install. This is the second time ive used Stormclad and another faultless install of a bifold. Two bifolds and one small toilet window. Can see others have had a few issues and not sure why. Ive had different installers come out from them and all have been brilliant.
1/ job was a lounge window and chop out. Fit bi-fold and replaster etc etc... nice and neat job
2/ last job was bi-fold but into an existing aperture so was easy but again no issues with quality and fixing.

If they use their own contractors you’re generally ok. If sub contractors are used, forget it. A window was delivered but the contractor had not been notified that a lintel needed to be installed so that installation was postponed. Scaffolding was erected by some dodgy looking guys who came on a bank holiday Monday instead of the Tuesday, leaving me to have to drag my neighbours out of bed. The lintel was eventually installed but the rubble and dust left on the scaffolding boards had to be seen to be believed. I had to clear it up myself, and notify the company who seemed to not to care less. Finally the scaffolding was removed when I wasn’t around as the scaffolding contractors entered my property without consent. I would touch them with a barge pole!

Stormclad was great to deal with from start to finish we are well impressed with our conservatory all the guys were very friendly and helpful.They were more than happy to come back to adjust the doors a couple of times without any problems.

After very poor communication and customer service pre installation, and a complaint from ourseves, stormclad,Alison in the office, upped her game. The installation was excellent, Chris and Jordan did a fantastic job and are lovely lads. Followed by a great plastering job by Martin. Bi folds look beautiful couldn't be more pleased with the end result.

I would highly recommend Stormclad. Fantastic service and great product.

This is the second time that we have had StormClad to install some new windows to our home. Cannot fault them at all. The fitters are excellent in their work. We would definitely go back to them should we require more windows.
