I booked my car into Stratstone Audi in early January for infotainment/SOS issues. The experience has been appalling from start to finish.
They had my car for several hours, provided no proactive updates, and I had to chase them myself near the end of the day. Despite explaining in advance that I needed the car back by a specific time, there was no courtesy car arranged, no proper communication, and no effort made to manage my expectations. Had I not phoned, my car would likely have been left there overnight without my consent.
I was promised a follow-up call the next day to discuss next steps. That call never happened. I have since contacted Stratstone multiple times and still have no meaningful update.
The Audi All-in Plan is, in my experience, completely misrepresented. The marketing talks about software updates, firmware support, peace of mind, and keeping the car in good condition. In reality, I’ve received vague explanations, no clear diagnostics, and no support in establishing what is or isn’t covered.
The 30-day no-claim period combined with a 14-day cancellation window creates a lose-lose situation where you can’t even properly assess whether issues are covered before it’s too late. That is not made clear at the point of sale.
I’m now paying for a plan that offers no value, and I will not be using Stratstone for MOTs, servicing, or future work. I am cancelling the All-in Plan and will be seeking a full refund.
Overall, this has been a frustrating, time-wasting, and deeply disappointing experience. I have been trying to get a things sorted since November and now we are at the end of January.
Based on this, I would not recommend Stratstone Audi or Audi in general.

I purchased my Audi Q2 , and I can only praise the service I received from Ben Tye, he looked after me from beginning to the end of my purchase, keeping me updated throughout, & also had a good sense of humour which was lovely... ask for Ben if you visit 😁

Good service by Natalie who took my car for MOT and kept me updated. Good service from service team who conducted my MOT, sent me a video of the car and what they checked.

Service should’ve been done before MOT.
This was I would’ve avoided the minors on my MOT.
This is what I hear from other service dealers and even Audi said this to me previous years but strangely they didn’t follow this process.
Otherwise everything was fine, on time and the car was spotlessly clean.

I phoned Manchester Audi on 19/12/25 to speak to the Service Manager. I spoke with Joanne on reception who was very pleasant and on checking told me the service manager, Natalie, was just seeing a customer. Joanne took my registration number and telephone number and said Joanne would call me back later that today. Of course no such thing or the day after.
Audi Manchester play lip service to customer service, promoting how important it is to them. The experience is of course very different. I had exactly the same problem with Natalie’s predecessor so it should come as no surprise. If a manager leads by example she is setting a rather poor example for her staff.
I’ve been a customer of Manchester Audi for over 15 years now and sadly witnessing a decline in the standard of service over that time.

Avoid Stratstone Audi Manchester.
I bought an Audi A1 from them in August 2025, and within a week of owning it the driver’s window controls stopped working and the infotainment system became faulty.
I contacted the dealership several times by phone and was promised call-backs that never happened. I sent multiple emails and even filled in their official online customer complaint form, yet no one ever responded.
To make matters worse, when I took the car to JCT600 Audi Sheffield under the Audi Approved Warranty, they told me they couldn’t repair the window and that the infotainment fault needed further investigation.
So not only did the car develop faults almost immediately after purchase, but Stratstone Audi Manchester has completely ignored every attempt to get help. Their aftersales service and communication are absolutely unacceptable for an Audi main dealer.
I’ve now had to escalate the issue formally because they simply don’t respond or take any responsibility.
Buy elsewhere — this dealership’s customer service is appalling, and once they’ve sold you the car, they clearly don’t care.

I bought an approved used Audi A3 from Audi Manchester (Stratstone) in December 2024. On purchase, the inspection report missed two cracks at the bodywork of the car and stated it is in "excellent condition". Upon inspection, I discovered two clear cracks — a defect missed by the dealership. I raised this with the sales team, and was verbally assured that once I got the cracks repaired, the cost would be reimbursed in full.
I went ahead with the purchase - based on the trust on Audi and Audi's Approved Used Programme through an authorised dealer - in good faith. It is year passed now, and despite submitting the invoice and chasing the dealership almost monthly, no reimbursement has been paid. Communication has been frustrating, with repeated promises but no resolution.
I had trusted in Audi’s reputation and the assurances given by the salesperson, but the ongoing delay and lack of accountability reflect extremely poorly on their business ethics and after‑sales care. It is shameful that a “reputable” brand treats customers this way.
I hope Audi Manchester reviews its processes, takes responsibility for the original inspection failure, and honours its reimbursement commitment — otherwise I cannot in good conscience recommend them to others.

Friendly staff and great service. I feel valued as a returning customer, and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car's maintenance.

It seems like the dealership does not care about its customers from giving wrong info to the time interval on service it just look as though they are about making money and nothing else

Terrible Aftercare Service - would never use them again
I purchased an Audi Q7 from Manchester Audi. Initially, the service was excellent — staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Unfortunately, once the vehicle developed issues, the experience turned completely.
The car suffered from warped brake discs *seven times within 12 months*. Rather than acknowledging a potential fault, they tried to pin the blame on my *“driving style.”* When I asked for clarification on my consumer rights, they avoided the question and stopped being responsive.
For anyone reading this, *know your rights* when buying from a dealership. Here are key points:
- You have the *right to reject a faulty vehicle* within 30 days of purchase.
- After 30 days and within 6 months, the *dealer must repair or replace* the car if a fault is found.
- If the issue keeps happening, you may be entitled to a *refund or final rejection*.
For full details, check: which website
Despite raising the matter with the Motor Ombudsman, due to delays and inconvenience, I had to *get rid of the car*. An *independent engineer confirmed it was faulty*, and the Motor Ombudsman *ruled in my favour.
After they sell you the car, *Manchester Audi do not care*. If this review helps even one person avoid a similar experience or *assert their rights early*, then it’s worth it.
